The rooms were quite small, I was a single in a double room and it was just big enough for me. The bathroom was lovely and the bed was comfortable. Cleaning was efficient and thorough. Good location near Termini station.
Overall a good stay. Good staff, good breakfast, convenient to public transportation. A short walk from Roma Termini. Only two complaints. Very thin doors to room. Noisy hallway. Water drainage noise in wall. Otherwise good place for a short stay.
The location of this hotel is ideal - just a few minutes from trains, buses and metros to get you to the city centre in no time. On arrival we had been allocated a very small room with a double bed and no bath, exactly what we didn't ask for. But the lovely girl in reception upgraded us to a bigger room at no extra charge (all the staff here were fantastic). Excited to have a Jacuzzi bath but sadly it didn't work and the rooftop hot tub was also out of order. A bit disappointing. Plenty of choice at breakfast even if some mornings it was a bit of a squash and a squeeze, delicious coffee and blood orange juice from a machine. Lovely barman made us beautiful cocktails each evening. Local area a little rough but we never felt unsafe at night, and each morning we were woken by church bells and opened the blinds to hot, sunny days and a slice of real Roman life. Would definitely recommend for a short stay in this fabulous city.
This hotel is 5 minute walk from Roma Termini Station. Very helpful staff ,small but modern, clean rooms with tv and air con. After a long day walking around the great sights around Rome, it was great to come back to the hotel and soak in the sauna and steam room, before hitting the many local, good quality restaurants. In particular,3 minutes walk to The Brambles bar and restaurant. Good food, excellent friendly service from very attentive staff. However the best quality food can be found at Mama Angela restaurant, Via Palestro, 5 minutes walk from hotel. Truly some of the best food I have ever tasted.
Hotel looked lovely from outside. Gorgeous old building you would expect to see in Rome. Room was small but had everything you would need. We had a lovely balcony attatched to our room which was nice. No tea/coffee in the room which was a let down. Would of made a big difference had i been able to sit on balcony early with a lovely italian coffee to start the day. Booked the hotel on the basis it had a jacuzzi on the roof but was told it was broken and would be fixed the next day, however 4 days we stayed and it was not fixed on check out. Having read through previous reviews i can see its been broken from July. I think this should be noted on the website to not mislead potential customers. Breakfast was basic but some tasty croissants were available. Very small breakfast room and the tables are very close together. Overall a nice 3* hotel in a fantastic location.
This hotel was one of our least favorites in a long time. We chose it mostly because of its location a few blocks from Termini train station, but we probably should have done more research before booking a room. We asked for a large room, but what we got was one that was so small we could hardly maneuver our way through it. There was a built-in desk and chair, but it was so close to the bed that we couldn't even pull the chair out to sit in it. There were no drawers in the entire room, so our clothes stayed in our suitcases for 4 days. Hanging space in the tiny closet was minimal. Suitcases were kept piled along one wall, making it almost impossible to get to the balcony door. (The balcony was the only good thing about the room, with a little table and two chairs and some space to put our things.) There was nowhere to put our bathroom items, so those also stayed in their bags and cases for the entire length of our stay. There was perhaps a foot of space between the bed and the walls on every side. The TV hung on the wall and we kept hitting our heads on it as we passed it. The shower had mold growing between the tiles on the wall and floor, and the water pressure was terrible; the water temperature wavered from hot to cold and hot again as we took our showers. But the worst thing was the bed, which was hard as a rock and had very flat, useless pillows. We did not sleep well at all. Breakfast was included, and the options were pretty good if you could find a seat. Several times we went down to the breakfast area (on the basement level, where it felt like we were in a dungeon) and found that there was nowhere to sit, so we ended up eating elsewhere and having to pay for breakfast anyway. We went to the lobby bar (it's really just a counter and some stools, not what we would consider a real bar) and asked for some ice for our room, and the bartender just gave us one juice-sized glass with 4 ice cubes in it. There is a mini-fridge and a safe in the room. The exterior of the building is charming and very old --- just what you'd want if you wanted authentically Roman quarters. However, the interior of the building has been gutted and remodeled and has absolutely no charm at all. It was a pretty miserable 4 days at that hotel and we would NOT recommend it at all.
Rooms are very basic. Location near the train station. Staff is friendly but not problem solvers. No hot water in the morning. Breakfast is a nice selection but extremely crowded so it is difficult to find a table. Beds are very firm!
Very nice hotel - 3 minute walk from Termini and from airport bus drop. Beautiful open air roof top area with jacuzzi and loungers open to all. Small rooms but clean and bright and well furnished. Basic buffet breakfast but very tasty. Several really good restaurants very close by. Staff friendly and helpful. Would have been nice if bar was open a bit later.
I really liked this hotel despite the fact that the roof top Jacuzzi was out of order the whole time we were there. From previous reviews of this hotel I believe that this is often the case. However the hotel is very clean, breakfast is good and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is very central and my experience of my time here was very pleasant. My only complaint would be that the offer of the Jacuzzi should be removed from their website.
This hotel had a lovely, clean spacious room with a very comfortable bed. My wife and I have back problems so that was a big plus. It had a nice, ample breakfast each morning. We had a problem with the toilet and someone came right away. I highly commend their service. It also has a very nice rooftop jacuzzi-very romantic. Good location-a short walk to the train station and sightseeing buses.
