Having read numerous previous reviews we selected this hotel and were most pleased with our choice. Modernly appointed rooms, great Wi-Fi, excellent included breakfast and great service. One who would wish to watch non Italian TV would have been disappointed this week as only CNN worked! Great location to visit Rome and find good restaurants at modest prices in close proximity.
This quaint hotel was clean, comfortable and located just outside of Roma Termini. Small rooms but hey, it’s Europe and when in Rome who stays in the room? The breakfast was 5 Star with great choices from 6:30-10 and the convenience to busses, trains and the metro can not be beat!
This hotel is extremely close to Termini Station. The rooms are sleekly and simply decorated with modern bathrooms. There was a small gym and lobby bar. The staff is helpful. Not too far and easily walkable from the main attractions in Rome. Great sidewalk cafes nearby.
We stayed here for my birthday long weekend and loved the locality to the termini station, giving us access to all the sights on our first visit to Rome. We got the Leonardo express train straight from the airport to the termini. Our room was a fairly decent size and bathroom was good and clean, apart from a creaky toilet! This hotel was great value for money, the included breakfast was great, giving choices of continental ham and cheeses along with cereals etc. There was a nice hot tub on the roof but the weather was a bit too cold for us to try it! Reception staff were really friendly and spoke good English and gave options for tours and restaurants. Would love to stay here again as a good base for the money.
Just returned from this hotel and could not recommended it enough. For the price we paid (€130 for 2 nights) it was a steal! Rooms are on the small size but there was still enough room to move around, beds are huge and very comfy! Bathroom was very modern and clean. We were on the 3rd floor and the wifi was very strong and we never had a problem with it. Breakfast buffet was fantastic, a choice of bacon, hot dogs and scrambled eggs, pastries, cakes, fruit, a selection of cereal, tea, coffee, juices, everything you needed. The location is about 2 minute walk to termini station and about a 30 minute walk at most to all the major sights. Could not recommend this hotel enough we had a lovely stay! You won't be disappointed
The hotel is nice and clean and modern. The rooms are quite small though and we barely had room to put our suitcases. The staff is excellent and always was available for recommendations and questions. The location is great as the Termini station is a couple of blocks away. We could easily catch the Metro subway from there which will take you close to all of the major sites in Rome. There are a lot of restaurants within easy walking distance from the hotel and the staff will help with recommendations and reservations if necessary. There is also a small bar off of the lobby which provided a nice place to meet for drinks prior to going out for the evening.
Venetia Palace Hotel is stylish and modern, and it is located in a strategically convenient part of Rome for exploring the city. The hotel is a five-minute walk from Termini (30 minutes and €14 from Fiumicino by Leonardo Express or 45-60 minutes and €4-€6 by coach). I find the area quite safe even in the middle of the night… there are tons of restaurants, cafes and supermarkets within a short walking distance. I have been a returning guest since 2011, and based on my experience some rooms are definitely better and more spacious than others. What remains consistent is that front-desk and breakfast staff members’ friendliness and professionalism are equivalent to five-star hotels. The staff are simply beyond amazing. They could not be more helpful or work any harder. Speaking of rooms and bathrooms, they are contemporary and clean although it seems a bit less attention to detail has been paid in terms of cleanliness and general up-keeping in the last couple of years. Things used to be exceptional and immaculate; now they are average/OK. The beds are comfortable; the pillows during my recent stay in February 2018 were too thin even for somebody who can sleep soundly on any surface. Wi-Fi had been better in the past as well. This time it kept disconnecting every 2-3 minutes, and download speeds were extremely slow. To be fair, it was the Internet provider that was having technical issues in the surrounding area so there was not much the hotel management could have done about service interruptions. Breakfast at Venetia Palace is consistently very good, with plenty of hot and cold food and excellent coffee. I definitely recommend this hotel.
We've just got back from a 4 night stay at the Venetia Palace Hotel. Firstly I would say overall it's pretty good value for what we paid. We arrived about an hour and a half before check in but they had the room ready about 45 minutes early which was good. The room was small but this didn't really bother us as we didn't need a lot of space. It was clean and everything worked fine - the shower was excellent. The bathrooms have a glass door which you can't really see through but you can hear everything clearly which may put people off. The walls are also pretty thin but that's nothing out of the ordinary. We used the Jacuzzi a couple of times, it was lovely and warm and liked the fact it was on the rooftop - something a little different. The Jacuzzi was out of order on our last night though as all the water somehow started being sucked out while other people were in it! A little concerning but having worked with Jacuzzis before I know how unreliable they can be. There's also a sauna and a very small gym which we didn't use. Breakfast was really good. It's a small area which can get cramped when it's busy but there's a very good selection of meats, cereals, cakes, cooked breakfast (eggs, bacon, schnitzels) and fresh fruit. The Muesli and chocolate flakes were a personal highlight! I would certainly consider stay here again in the future if we were to return to Rome.
Just left this morning after another stay at Venetia Palace Hotel and again it has not disappointed us. This hotel is beautiful and in a great location, near to station and metro. Rooms are wonderful and really warm. Wonderful selection at breakfast every morning. Staff are so helpful. We will definitely be coming back for another visit. Thank you to everyone.
Enjoyed a girls trip to Rome where we stayed at this hotel. The room was small, the customer service was excellent and the location was great. Although the room was small and should only be used to stay with someone you know well and don't mind being close to, the rooms were clean everyday. There was only a little noise from the street at night as people passed by yelling. It's only about 2 blocks away from the Termini train station where you can hop on a train to go to all of the attraction. You can access the trains that take you to other parts of Italy and France. The hop on hop off bus is only a minute away as well. There are quite a bit of restaurants in the area, all within walking distance. If I had to complain about anything it would only be that the rooms were small. There was minimal space to place a large suitcase. I walked pass the TV a couple of times and turned it on accidentally because I kept bumping into it as I walked between the TV and the bed. Minor inconvenience. The breakfast was nice. I wish it would have lasted longer as we are late risers. Overall I give it a 8.5 for overall experience. I'd definitely stay here again.
