We love this hotel! Location is great, very convenient to go anywhere. The room was nice and they clean it everyday. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Franchesca, the lady who serves breakfast was very accommodating and pleasant. They all have a smile and very welcoming. We will stay here again the next time we're in Rome. There is a free gym on site which is a big plus. I just wish there were free wights in the gym.
Stayed one night in Rome before heading on to Florence. Hotel was in a very convenient location, only a couple blocks from Termini station. Coffee machine for breakfast was amazing. Minus a couple stars because our bathroom flooded due to poor design of shower.
American couple for one night two days. For the price we paid it is fantastic! It was 73 USD the room was fit and modern, odd layout, but everything we needed including a hairdryer which my wife was very excited, a large shower for which I was excited and a refrigerator. The best perks we were surprised was the breakfast. We were also there for the heat wave "Lucifer" and although we had checked out we were able to come back and allowed to shower and change on the lower level before we flew out at 22:00. For the price and the great location next to the train station, metro and bus with showers and included breakfast we could not have been happier. I highly recommend!
Venetia desk staff excellent and helpful. Breakfast and breakfast area excellent. Room nice and clean. Location near Termimi Train Station is useful. Several nice restaurants nearby. WIFI OK. Some rooms bathtub is behind bed and tough to access. Overall a great value.
I came with my husband and one daughter for 3 nights, it was last minute so the majority of top hotels were fully booked so we booked to stay here. The photographs looked nice and the reviews were okay. We arrived late evening and were shocked at the location and outside of the hotel. While the building is nice, half of the blue lights that spell the hotel name weren't working and the road was full of graffiti and walking down the first night out for dinner there was a fist fight happening in the middle of the road! The roads around the hotel were dangerous and I didn't feel particularly happy or safe walking around. We had high hopes for the room but we ended up with a small room, not the one we had booked! The bed was rock hard and incredibly uncomfortable. No tea or coffee facilities that they had been advertised as having, the television didn't work; we didn't bother asking as we had only wanted it once to entertain our daughter while we got ready. The bathroom was nice, but on the second day of our stay we ran out of toilet roll, the two times that the cleaners had been in they hadn't given us any! So, we had to take it ourselves from the maids cart! We were also only given one key, and the key was necessary for the air-con, electricity and lights so we came back to a boiling stuffy room that took a long time to cool down. The curtains were awful and the room was light all night long. Breakfast was awful! A few pastries and a small bowl of bacon, eggs and sausage all of which we tried once and never again! The tea and coffee was okay, the juice machine was fine the first morning but by the second the only one available was grapefruit with orange and pineapple blocked out and not working. We went up on the second afternoon to use the jacuzzi on the sixth floor. There isn't a rooftop bar like advertised and you couldn't see over the wall over Rome unless you were at least 6 foot tall. There was an incident in the jacuzzi on that day with a father going mad at reception on our way up, there was a language barrier but from what I had gathered his daughter had got stuck in there! I had promised my daughter that we could go in so I did let her but I definitely couldn't relax and by the evening the jacuzzi was boiling hot with the heat from the sun as well as the heater. On our last morning we wanted to go in again but it was closed for cleaning and refilling, I understand that this has to be done but could they not have done it early morning or late evening when it was closed anyway! We also expected it to be a lot closer to the attractions, the colosseum was the closest but it was at least an hour walk away and the Vatican was the farthest which took at least an hour by the sightseeing bus! The only positive really was the staff who were always quite nice. The taxi that the hotel arranged for us to the airport was awful! I genuinely didn't think we were going to get their alive! He drove so fast that my husband had to tell him to slow down! If you want a hotel in this location, choose the UNA Hotel which is very close and much nicer. We haven't stayed their but just the lobby, bar and restaurant are lovely! Won't be coming again!
I can't rate Venetia Palace, we've been brought to another Hotel near Piazza Navona. I think it was an upgrade, it was very fine and clean indeed, also perfectly situated in the Center! Taxi back to Roma Termini, from where we continued our journey, was no Problem.
The workers and service is very good. Everyone is very helpful and nice. The problem is that the wi-fi is very slow sometimes and the toilets and other furnitures seem to be very noisy. You can sometimes here people from upstairs in their bathroom taking a shower.
Arrived early at the hotel and was advised room will be ready in an hour....2.5hrs later still waiting! Fair enough we were early but receptionist should not have promised us the room in an hour! Wasted a half day sitting in reception! Can't review rest of the hotel yet but first impression is extremely poor - receptionist starts talking on the phone whilst supposedly talking to guests!!!
Stayed there for 4 days while taking family on their first Italian vacation. Booked two rooms (501 & 413). Very clean and modern hotel close to the Roma Termini (a few minutes walk) in a safe area. Most of the rooms are small unless you get the corner rooms (like 501) which offers better privacy and space. The deco is very clean modern and minimalistic. Breakfast area is very small and gets very congested during morning rush. I think Hotel is expanding in the back area to increase seating in the near future as I was there during their construction. On the roof top, there is a small Jacuzzi which is a nice place to unwind in the evening. The only complaints are (1) the lack of sufficient towels and (2) the place is not maintained regularly. Some hotel guests threw towels and magazines all over the place. (3) The water should be changed daily to ensure hygienic standards as many people are using the Jacuzzi without first taking a bath. This is evident from the sand and other "debris" floating around. There are quite a few restaurants nearby in the side streets with reasonable price and good food. Night time around the train station is a bit scary as there are lots of homeless and seedy characters around.
The location is very good at walking distance from Roma Termini Station and close to the Metro A and B. The rooms are very quiet and comfortable. Very clean. The staff is courteous and really helpful. They serve a very good breakfast
