Clean and nice room, but with two big reflectors outside, which is a bit anoying at night. Very near to all important sights. Receptionist and other staff very nice and obliging. Everything I need they suggest and it was really easy for me to find what I needed.
Was pleasantly surprised by concierge staff who offered to assist us book any tours we wanted. A very handy service when you can only manage the basics of the language... they did the organising and got us onto each tour the next day when we were unable to book online for next day tours! So the staff were excellent and very helpful. As for the room, it was ok. There was certainly nothing wrong with it but I've had better beds and pillows for 4stars. Breakfast, pretty good, usual euro breakky options. Gym was small with a few cardio machines and one cable machine... no free weights which was a bit of a downer. Biggest plus for the accommodation was the sauna and steam room facilities provided! Only had to make a reservation with staff at least 30mins prior and away you go! Loved it! All up, I would return again! Thanks for having me.
The best thing is that its close to termini station. And the hop on and off bus tour so it's easy to get around. Hotel staff was nice and the breakfast was good with a good selection of choices. The shower was a bit small but otherwise a good stay.
My boyfriend and I recently stayed here for 4 nights and couldn't fault it! The room was a decent size and immaculately clean, although the mini fridge was expensive! On arrival, we were provided with a selection of maps and leaflets with activities and tours to do in the city, which was very helpful! The location of the hotel was perfect, it was a 5 minute walk from the termini station where you'll find shops and restaurants, as well as the open top bus tour stop! There was a good range of food for breakfast, inclusive of; fruit, pastries, cereal, cold and cooked meats, rolls and cheeses! We spent all day out in the city and the hot tub and sauna closed at 9pm, which meant that we didn't get the chance to use either. 100% would recommend this hotel!
For our last night in Rome, we chose this hotel based on price and location. We were able to walk to and from Termini, where we caught the train to the airport. It was clean, with a friendly staff, small rooms. Perfect for what we needed it for. A good budget option.
Great stay. Reception staff excellent happy to help with enquiries. Location well placed to walk to terminal and get on any mode of transport quickly to all the sites. Rooms clean. laundry clean. quiet at night. Stayed for 3 days and would recommend.
Breakfast was great, and included! Room was clean and very bright. Kind of small but perfect for 1 person or a couple. The gym was mediocre, but it exists so that's a big bonus. Staff was fine but nothing to write home about. Overall, superb value for the money.
I checked into this hotel on a Friday night till Sunday morning. I expected a little more for the price I paid and considering that it's a 4 star hotel. My room was smaller than average but wasn't a big deal since I was only staying for 2 nights and was by myself. The room was clean and didn't find any bugs on my bed or around the room. I didn't really stay much inside my room except to use wifi since I didn't want to get charged for roaming on my mobile phone. The lady at the front desk was very nice and considerate. The night I arrived, I realized that I forgot my cell phone cable to charge my phone. She let me use her cable for the night. My phone almost dead and didn't know how I could access or buy a cable since I didn't know my way around the city. That's an automatic extra star for this review! The breakfast was "ok" at best. I didn't really expect too much. The food selection was decent. It got crowded during breakfast hours. The waitresses or servers were working really hard to make sure that food was always available. Great job on them! This hotel does not have a restaurant so don't expect to eat at the hotel. There are many many restaurants around the area and some are open late so no need to worry about scavenging for food. The one thing that I really didn't like was the fact that I got charged for state taxes here. I had to pay around 40 euros which I did not expect. I'm not sure if it's like this at all of the hotels within Rome, but if you didn't know this now then at least now you know! Overall, this was a good hotel. It was very convenient to the bus/metro/train station and within the Terminus, there is a shopping center/mall where you can eat and shop. You literally just have to walk down a few block and you'll get to the Terminus in 5 minutes. Otherwise, if you decided to stay at a hotel that's far from the city, it might be inconvenient to have to take a cab to get to where you want to go. It's A LOT cheaper to take a bus or the metro so take advantage of it!
I stayed at the Venetia Palace Hotel with my boyfriend for 4 nights at the beginning of June 2017. We were able to check in early as the room was ready - much appreciated! But you can leave your luggage and come back later if it is not. TRAVEL: Not being familiar with the transport links when we arrived in Rome we booked a taxi from Fiumicino airport. Although this was an efficient service the Leonardo express train (direct from airport to Rome Termini) is a cheaper and quicker way to get to central Rome. You can then walk 5 minutes up the road from Rome Termini station where the Leonardo express arrives. Being 5 minutes from Rome Termini was a dream and much needed after long days of walking around Rome! We used the metro (at Rome Termini) to visit main sites such as Colosseum, Vatican, Trevi fountain and Pantheon. VERY quick connections and cheap, run every few minutes. FOOD: Breakfast is wonderful! Although the room is small, all tastes are catered for and food is frequently replenished. Not a bad word to say about breakfast! ROOMS: Rooms very clean, beds comfortable. Beds changed daily and fresh towels provided. However we did feel the bath needed a good deep clean as a very unpleasant smell arose whenever we attempted to run a bath / clean it. We did not mention this to staff however and I am sure they would have sorted it if we did. We just stuck to showers. STAFF: Accommodating and willing to help. Even when we left the hotel to continue our travels they offered to help book our future travel links. Thank you! - would recommend
Me and my sister stayed at this hotel in June 2017. I would not recommend this hotel for other travellers, because the room we had was very small, the water in the shower and the sink was FREEZING cold and the breakfast was bad. They had a jacuzzi and sunbeds on the rooftop, but it was like a roof all over, so it was not possible to get tan or get any sun. The staff was ok, and the hotel is like 3 minutes from the trainstation, but I would really not recommend this place for families or couples.
