We stayed for four nights and left January 1, 2018. This hotel is situated two blocks from Termini train station. The room was newly renovated, it was small but with all the amenities, flat screen tv, safe, refrigerator, build in USB. the bathroom had a large shower (no tub) with heated floor and towel rack .The breakfast room is small but the actual breakfast is great, scrambled eggs, bacon, an array of fruits and yogurt, cereals, bread, coffee machine and juice. The staff attending the breakfast room is always on the go cleaning tables and replenish food as needed. Overall, it was a great stay. The only negative is that the walls are really thin and you can hear everything.
Noisy, uncomfortable, just location is good but never can’t rest in this hotel! Small rooms with uncomfortable pillows and blankets! Very bad air conditioner, room cleaning was very good, jacuzzi in the room and when you turn it on smell whiffy!
We stayed the week after Christmas. The breakfast was very good, rooms small but clean. Little space to open luggage. Shower was low point, but plenty of hot water. Some of the staff great some just ok. Housekeeping was ok but did not remove dirty dishes 2 times. There were 6 people in our group using 3 rooms and all were fine. Don't count on the WiFi. We would stay there again.
4 blocks from 1 of Romes large train station. Easy 14 Euro 32 minute train to Flumicino airport. Only issue was WiFi could not connect to Internet a few times but worked most of the time. I would stay there next time I go to Rome!
We stayed at Venetia Palace in the last week of December. Had a very pleasant stay here. The staff was friendly and the room was spacious. Although the breakfast wasn't the best, it did have a decent spread and variety. The WiFi did not work and despite raising the issue, it did not get fixed.
I will list positives and negative (negatives outweigh) Positives; - Location is hard to beat, seconds away from the Termini station which makes it easy to get to any part of Rome whether it be by tube or bus. - Staff we encountered were very helpful and tried best with what they had. Negatives; - My partner has a bowel disease and every room has a thing glass door between the bathroom and bed! This was horrendous for my partner as she is very conscious of her bathroom activities and she tended to cry because of embarrassment. Obviously it doesnt bother me about her illness but the toilet facilities are bizarre at best. - Our first room had cracked wardrobe doors, the toilet was broken and the bath did not work properly. Secondly it was most definitely the noisiest room i have ever stayed in (and i travel allot), you can literally hear a pin drop in other rooms and you can hardly swing a cat in it. - After the experience of our first room we obviously requested a room change the next day, of which they did. The second room was SLIGHTLY bigger, could swing a large cat around this one. But again the noise was terrible, you could hear absolutely everything. - Misleading website, the hot tub did not work properly on the first day we were there. When they did get it working it was extremely dirty and smelt so i cant see that it ever gets cleaned. - The turkish bath (steam room) had paint falling from the ceilings, most unappealing. - Gym is TINY. they take a very good photo on their website, nothing like the real thing. Summary: Would i stay here again? Absolutely not. Have no idea how they get rated 4 stars, if the staff were not so helpful this would be getting 0 stars (if only it was possible). The only positive is the location of this hotel, as stated before hard to beat, but you WILL NOT get a good nights sleep.
Venetica hotel is nice place to stay.We had a room with 3beds for 3 people for 3days.Room was big and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.Loved the selection of food anf environment! Highly recommend place to stay. Also very convenient in terms of location.
Beautiful hotel..friendly people. Stayed here for four days and everyone was so helpful. Sauna was great because you had to make reservations so it was all to yourself. Breakfast was good everyday. Front desk was helpful in directions to famous landmarks.
Hotel was great. Comfortable bed, clean room, excellent and helpful staff. My only complaints: room VERY small (no bathroom privacy) and no control over ventilation (we were stuffy). Location was great (very near the Termini)and we like having a bar in the lobby. Overall, an affordable, good place to lay your head after a day of sightseeing!
Overall our time at The Venetia Palace was very good. Check in was quick and easy, we were able to get into our room a little early and the room size was quite large for European standards. Beds were comfortable and bathroom clean. The bathroom door is frosted glass so not as much privacy as you may prefer. The daily breakfast was the best I have had in any European hotel, fresh and lots of choices, but get there early because it gets pretty crowded for a small area. Everyone at the hotel was courteous and helpful. The location is about 2 blocks from Termini (main train station). Also the underground and buses leave from this station. Very convenient if you are doing day trips from Rome or want to use public transport around the city. Some say this area is not the safest but we had no problems with this and did not feel uncomfortable even at night. We found several restaurants near the hotel for evening dining. We visited Rome in November, this was a great time to go with slightly cool weather and low crowds and fantastic prices. I would recommend this hotel if your on a budget and need something near Termini Station.
