Area was near buses and supermarket. A walk away from Roma Termini. A couple of stops to rome center. Staff was friendly and tried to help. The minuses: TERRIBLE Wi-Fi. Water during showering would not go down even after they said they would check the problem. Ants in the room. No water kettle and even when we asked they couldn't find one. Only one outlet in the main room. You get what you pay for.

The bed was dirty, I pull out the sheets to see if they changed and the fix the bed again with same sheets

Fantastic old hotel lovely to escape the modern same same .. Posted pics of the room immediately . Would recommend staying here to all.

The hotel website is VERY misleading. First of all, it is about a 20 minute walk to any "close" Roman monument (Trevi fountain, Termini station, Bernini square). The hotel also promotes that it is about a 40 euro trip to the airport. However, it does not mention that it is about 40 euro to Ciampino airport (only used for travel on flights within Europe) and a trip to Fiumicino airport (for international travel to US) is capped at 48 euro within the city center. However, Hotel Turner is OUTSIDE of the city center, making it a much more expensive cab ride than what they allude to on their site. Another problem is that they are not close to any metro stop (it is at least a 25 minute walk) and the directions to get to Termini station are very confusing and unhelpful. It is a long walk when you are dragging luggage from the station to the hotel. They also promote a full breakfast, but fail to mention that if you want any protein for your morning (such as eggs or cured meats) it will be an extra 2,50 euro for each plate per day. I have stayed in many Italian hotels that boast a full breakfast (including others in Rome), and not once had this ever happened to me before. A full breakfast would include eggs, bacon, and a full selection of Italian cured meats. While the hotel itself was about average, the combined distance from anything you want to see and all of the misleading information on the website is enough to make me say I would never stay at this hotel again and would encourage others to do the same.

Staff friendly, food ok, plumbing Not so ok, no ice in rooms, no ice in eating area, front of hotel under renovation, exterior at front of hotel not clean. Would not recommend at this time. The bed should have discarded 10 yrs ago! Overall value OK

1. The bed should have been replaced 5 trs ago, 2. No ice avail in room and refer is too small 3. No ice avail in breakfast room 4. Plumbing fixtures new but do not function 5. Entrance to Hotel is under reconstruction 6. Television programing not good 7. No music avail in room

Great experience, everything was excellent, convenient location, no iron available

you get what you pay for, its clean, a little old.

When we got there, we were told no room was reserved under our name although my credit card has been charged. We got a queen bed for the three of us while we paid for three. The staff was not professional.

We had a great stay at the hotel. The staff was wonderful. Our room was always clean when we would come back from our long days of walking. The only proble that we had it's the location of the hotel, and the wifi from the hotel, and on our package that we bought, we had 2 complimentary alcohol drinks if we would stay more than 3 night. But when we asked for the drinks, they said that the bar was not I'm serivce, because of renovation. Other than that we had a wonderfull time. We want to give a speacial thanks to team orbits and the hotel staff at turner hotel. Would recommend this hotel to friend and family

We had a hard time finding a hotel that would accomodate our family of 5 without wanting us to have to buy 2 rooms. We were very pleased with this hotel. They initially put is in a room that was smaller than what we had purchased for the 1st night but changed that the 2nd night, which was fine. We stayed in a 2 bedroom and then 3 bedroom apartment which was extremely spacious. The 3 bedroom apartment had 2 baths!! The staff was very helpful and we really enjoyed our stays. Would recommend if traveling with a family or group to consider the apartments. Worthwhile esp for cost we got [...]!!

Overall hotel is not bad, unfortunatelly room was not used for some time and not ventilated, so first night (out of two) was horrible as the smell was very strong. Also bathroom (even word bathroom is probably not usable as the dimensions were 1m x 2,5m). We have to ask on the reception to exchange blanket as was not clean and quite dirty. Most likely I will never use this hotel again...

Staff very helpful giving directions, helping with bags, making arrangements. Room and hotel beautifully decorated and clean. I had interior room that was very quiet, relatives that stayed on road side said it was a little noisy. Breakfast was wonderful with many choices. About a 15 min. walk to the train station and bus tours.
