İ had a reservation for Nazional Rooms in Rome between 20-23 October 2016 by booking.com. I canceled my reservation for free at 6 October and i did not stay in this hotel. But, the hotel took whole money from my credit card at 27 December (AFTER THREE MONTHS) Therefore, I do not recommend you to stay at this hotel. They do not return phone calls. They are not trustworthy.
The room was clean and the bathroom was big enough. The location is ideal for those who want to see the historical center and the metro is pretty close. The girl in the reception was very kind! For a travel to Rome this is a cheap and good solution
The room was clean but shower room had dreadful smell and shower not very good. The breakfast was few yards away (if you could call it breakfast) 3 choice of croissants, lukewarm coffee and plastic glass of juice so we skipped it and went elsewhere for breakfast. The staff were nice but the room was very basic, (had to ask for another pillow) it was bit noisy even though we was in side room as sirens were going off into early hours of the morning. oh and the lift sometimes don't work so you have to climb the steps to 3rd floor. We would deffo not stay here again even though it was central
This hotel is in an ideal location being half a mile from the main Termini train station and a mile from the Roman Square and Colosseum. It is situated on a busy street and has various high quality restaurants and shops surrounding it. The staff were very pleasant and polite. The breakfast was quite basic. Would definitely if you are looking for a reasonably priced, well situated city break.
Hostel is in perfect location - really close to everything. Although it is located on one of the main streets there was no trouble with noise. People are very nice and helpful, rooms are simple but very clean and nice. If you are looking for a budget place in the centre of Rome this is great choice. The only disadvantage for me was italian breakfast - I don't like this type of breakfast as a croissant and coffee does not give me enough energy in the morning.
Nice little functional room, city centre of Roma, near the Colosseum and Central Station Termini, friendly staff, clean bathroom, only the bed was a bit uncomfortable... but in total it was worth the price and I would come back!
The location is awesome close to everything, and if your looking to travel and spend your days experiencing Rome then its perfect. The lady's running are friendly and helpful, the café around the corner that serves a proper Italian breakfast (coffee and pastry) is beautiful. it was my first time traveling Europe, and if I do rome again I am absolutely staying in here. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms warm and had everything needed. if your looking to hang around the hotel all day rather then the city then not for you, but if you want a comfortable safe place, to crash after spending the day around town its perfect.
All in all a wonderful stay when visiting Rome for the rugby. Only issue was the water pretty much stopped running in the morning (assuming just due to lots of use) however it was sorted very quickly. Great location and staff.
Staff was friendly, but the bed was extremely uncomfortable for us and we were told that all of the beds were the same. Like seriously I felt the springs in my back. Wifi was decent. Older decor and not much light in our room. Bathroom was okay, but shower was awkward getting in and out. We did not eat the breakfast, but I don't think it was anything special. There was a really tasty Chinese place really closeby and it was very close to the Metro and bus stop. It was also walkable to most/all of the attractions in Rome. I would not recommend staying at this hotel, but maybe stay at a hotel close to this one. The uncomfortable bed was really the deal breaker for me. Don't say I didn't warn you.
It was close to all things, both train station, Colloseum, restaurants, shops etc. The room had a great size and the staff was friendly. BUT: You could hear the traffic outside (even with earplugs), the breakfast I'd rather not eat and it wasn't even at the hotel but at a bar up the street (with almost no tables), the bed was very uncomfortable, and the room was very, very cold because of the time of year (December). I only stayed two nights which was just fine.
