Hotel Soggiorno Blu1.0 out of 5.0

The lady operating the reception is unbelievably rude and very unhelpful. She takes 10 mins to get to the reception from another hotel and treats you like an inmate at a prison. We were booked in the Soggiorno Blu but she walked us around the street to the Rubino. The room was dirty with stains on the walls. The third bed was not suitable for sleeping in. On access to the hotel the communal stairs and lifts were full of piles of rubbish, graffiti and bad smells. The access lobby was full of people that were very dodgy and it really unnerved our 10 year old son. We insisted on being moved back to the Hotel Blu where we had booked . The rude receptionist said we could for our first night but would have to move back to Rubino for the next 2 nights. In the end we moved to another Hotel and had to take the loss of the cost, she insists you pay upfront before moving you to another hotel. Both these hotels are the worst I have ever seen and the lady running it's attitude it unacceptable. Don't even think about staying here.
Very close to the Central Train Station. The room was smelling horrible, we asked for a change and they did not accept something like this. After a lot of arguing with the very rude staff the moved us to another room. while we were walking behind the receptionist in order to go to the new room she kept cursing us in Italian in order not to understand. WiFi was not working. The receptionist was always somewhere else and we had to wait up to 10 minutes for someone to appear. Finally the breakfast is in another building and you can eat only one thing(e.x. 1 croissant).
EXTREMELY RUDE STAFF. And I just arrived one hour ago.... not hopeful for the next days! I understand the lady is alone but I told the hotel I was arriving early and it was written in my reservation that I could check-in from 9 am. The shower was not working, and now it's been one hour I'm waiting for another room when there's a clean empty room in front of me and she doesn't let me stay in that one.... Awful!
Great location, close to the station Termini and other attractions. Room and bathroom were clean but very small. Breakfast was ok, just a pastry with coffee or tea. There is a supermarket close to the station where you can buy food and water for a decent price. This hotel is good enough for a short stay.
Had to come as a last option due to cancellation. It's clean but very basic with tiny bathrooms and tiny space. The location is excellent next to the main train station and it's cheap. Breakfast is in a cafe across the road and only a coffee and croissant but it's really cheap to get additional bits there and it's delicious as all baked in the cafe. Not for a fancy break but does the job!
When u arrive to the hotel, no body is there to receive you, you have to wait several mins to the staff appear, on day we had to ask for towels cus the forget to put it again, no wifi included, the location is great, one min from Termini station, for the price, well i think it's acceptable, but next time i will spend some more money...
Booked this hotel in a package with Thomas Cook, Yes its basic and dated but then again its not expensive so what are you expecting the Ritz !! I found the staff helpful and friendly although some times you will have to hang about to be dealt with as the reception wasn't always manned. Breakfast is more than passable yes you have to walk round the corner to a cafe (once you have a voucher from reception) and it s coffee and a pastry. to sum up I would happily stay at The Hotel Soggiorno Blu again its handy for the railway terminal Metro station Tramway and bus depot and not far from the city. Ideal for city visits/ breaks
The place is near the station. But they have a very bad staff. And the worst breakfast. Bath room was dirty. The heater works only few hours. The owners operate also hotel Blue with the same bad quality.
I booked this hotel just one day before coming to Rome, the price was quite affordable (me and my girlfriend are both students) and it is situated in a great location, close to the Termini station which is really good. The staff is friendy and helpful Nice rooms; not big not fany but ok.The price are allright. The place feels really safe, since there are people at the receptions 24h a day.A really nice place, and I will come back.
Friendly host. Comfortable bed, Close to terminal. Good WiFi (but not free). Breakfast meal was coffee with choice of a bun. My room had a toilet down the end of the hall. Elevator took a while. (Small but safe). Overall a good place to stay for a couple of nights stop over.
