This hotel is definitely not a 4 star, but a weak 3 star. While decorations are nice, my room didn't have a working air conditioning (they fixed it later so that it would create very modest flow, but implied I was not truthful saying it didn't work before). Some little things like no iron in the room, not operational garbage baskets, poorly operating shower and average staff at reception doesn't warrant this to be a 4 star experience. Besides decorations, I had better experience even at Motel 6.

The room was like a railroad car...airshaft that was 2 feet wide. Bathroom last remodled in 1980's. location was AWSOME... basic accomodations at luxury prices. No charm or style... tired!!!

The amenities were just fine for a 2 night stay. The bathroom and shower were ample size. I wish there was a few TV channels that were in English other than CNN while resting in the room. All in all, I felt safe and the room was perfect for 1.

I booked this hotels because it was near to the Spanish Steps and I love that area. The concierge didn't even responded when I asked about a map for the city, which he had in front of him, after made me wait for a few minutes he gave me one . When I arrived they offered to take my baggage to my room, and I agreed. I waited for almost an hour and my bags were still in the lobby, I called and they said they did not have anyone to get them to me at the moment. Aghh! The bed was very uncomfortable but at least it was clean.

This was my first time in Rome and it was a shaort stay. I arrived late and the staff and the hotel did a great job getting me situated and finding me a place for a late night meal. The room was very small, but that is what I expected. It was a perfect room for a solo travler who was not going to spent alot of time in the room, but still had a clean and comfortable place to stay. The hotel had the perfect central location and staff that helped me find all of the site!

The location is absolutely perfect. It's literally steps from the Spanish Steps and walkable to Collosseum and other main attractions in Rome. The hotel is also close to two metro stops and in a notable shopping district. I stayed in a small room for single occupancy, which suited my needs EXCEPT for sleeping. The room was large enough for a twin bed, night stand, and built in desk. The bathroom included a standard sized shower for European hotels. I thought it was perfect, until I tried to go to sleep. It was as if I could hear everything going on in every room on my floor, in the hallway, and above me. If you have an Ambien prescription, this hotel is great; if not, look elsewhere.

This hotel has a great location, just a 5 min walk to the Spanish steps and the metro station, and 10 min to Trevi Fountain... it was very convenient.... the staff was very helpful when asked for advice or help. The room is small for US standards but it was very comfortable. The room was clean and was serviced everyday. I wish the hotel has a meal plan as other hotels but considering that there were Tratorias all around that is not a big problem. Overall, it was a great place to stay.

I stayed here for a week! I was alone, so I had single room. The room was small, but average size for European standards. The staff at this hotel is amazing! I arrived 5 hours before check in time and they immediately called housekeeping to see if my room was ready! My room wasn't available, but they offered to hold my luggage and told me it would be about 2 hours. I was in fact able to check in 3 hours early, which was a relief after my long flight from the States. The room was very clean. The room had a full compliment of toiletries, which were replaced daily. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud! I didn't use the mini-bar, but the price list seemed reasonable. The location was PERFECT!!! I was able to walk to everything I wanted to see! These included the Spanish steps, Trevi fountain, Pantheon, Colosseum and Vatican City to name a few! Marianna and Francesca, at the front desk, are absolutely amazing! They deserve special recognition! They were always willing to help! I will definitely stay in this hotel again!

Staff helpful, convenient to tourist sights, numerous restaurants very near, including a couple just outside the hotel entrance.

Excellent service and staff...location was perfect and within walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Room was comfortable and street noises silenced by the double windows...we will consider returning again. The only negative - if it is one at all - is that they charged for Internet service...but, the fee was acceptable.
