A small hotel that tries their best to accommodate guests. My room had a balcony and there is also an upstairs area with a view. You get what you pay for with this hotel and my stay was comfortable. The breakfast was really nice.

The staff was great. Very friendly and nice. The rooms were a bit small but they were clean. The best part was the location. It's on a quiet back street but you are next to many great restaurants, the colosseum is like 2 minutes away! Two subway stops are very close to this location so it's very easy to find!

The hotel was nice overall, but pretty dated. My entire single room was smaller than my bathroom in Germany. There was black mildew growing all over the ceiling in the bathroom and bedroom, and wallpaper peeling with mildew in the bedroom. I talked to management about it and they moved me to another room without any problem. IN fact, they upgraded my room at no charge. The first room was on the top floor, and they said that they were having problems with the roof leaking over the winter. I wonder why they'd put anyone in that room without fixing the mildew problem. It wasn't all bad though. The service was great, it had air conditioning, and the breakfast was above average. The location was awesome. Two blocks from the local Metro station, and the same distance from the Colosseum and the Forum. There were a lot of great restaurants close by as well. I'd stay there again, but be sure to request a room not on the 4th floor.

This is a very clean, typical Rome hotel. Wonderful customer service and delicious free breakfast. Hard to find at first but very convenient once you do!

This is a nice hotel in a quiet area of Rome. The room was small but big enough for what my wife and I needed. Continental breakfast was okay, nothing special. Staff was not overly friendly but took care of our needs.

Highly recommended. A+ location. This was our 2nd trip to Rome & we are active 50'ers. Inspite of terrible directions to the hotel(just simply exit the metro staion at the Colliseum AND TURN RIGHT- go 2 blocks) We fancy 4 star hotels and we like a deal (but a nice one). This was a very pleasant surprise. Staff was so helpful, small clean room, quiet, great breakfast buffet, good shower,& comfy bed & pillows

Thoroughly acceptable

The location near the Coleseum, the Forum, and Underground stops is fantastic! The hotel is on a small side street and is quiet, primarily frequented by Italians (we appeared to be the only Americans), so great atmosphere. By American standards it is a very small, boutique type hotel. The staff are very friendly, accommodating, and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and memorable (including making breakfast for us early on New Years day since we had to leave before they typically had breakfast scheduled). The rate we received between Christmas and New Year was the best found anywhere. The negative for most Americans is the size of the room and bathrooms. Think of the smallest room you have ever stayed in and then cut it in half! Also there are no views from the rooms. When we first arrived we thought we couldn't live with the size of the rooms, however, after two days we adjusted and by the time we left we didn't think about size being a problem. We would highly recommend this hotel!

Wonderful location just steps from the Colusseum and Fori Imperiali. Loads of great restaurants and gelato shops close by and a metro stop around the corner. Staff was very helpful in making accommodations and recommending places to go. Breakfast could have featured some hot items but an otherwise good spread of breads and pastries. All in all not a palace of luxury but for the avid sight-seer you'd be hard pressed to beat the location.
