This was a wonderful hotel-sleep was great and the breakfast couldn't be beaten. Location was perfect for exploring the city with the Metro straight down the road. The staff were never less than helpful and friendly and I will certainly stay here again
I booked this hotel for a short weekend in Rome via Wizz air tour. It proved to be a good option. It looks exactly like on their gallery. But If you're looking for imperfections you will find them. Its probably old as all buildings in Rome are so. They serve a good breakfast with real coffee. I mean its reach for a three star hotel, and for a budget booking. Considering this, it has exceeded my expectations.Friendly staff, which I have always appreciate as something very important especially for a short city break when you need advises. One draw back though: located on a crossroads, and having a poor insulation, you can hear all the noise from the streets if your room is on the that side! Metro Manzoni station is 5 minute away.
Positives: - Friendly staff (generally) - Secure - Nice terrace area - Decent breakfast Negatives: - Dusty room (we stayed in the building not attached to reception) - The rooms we had booked were not available - Limited breakfast options - Mould in the shower - Broken light switch - Not enough coat hangers - Stains on the bedding
The hotel is very nice. Staff friendly, very helpful and good speak English. Room and bathroom was clean and comfortable. There is good speed Internet and wifi access in room. Breakfast was great. Very tasty and fresh. Many and plural dishes. Neighborhood is calmly. 3 minutes walk are shops. Location is only few minutes walk from metro station. I can recommend this hotel for everyone who want good and not very expensive hotel.
After reading negative reviews on trip advisor we were pleasantly surprised. Yes the hotel has some minor plumbing issues but nothing to really complain about. The rooms were clean, front desk staff friendly and they served a better than average breakfast.
+ (pluses) Some members of the staff very helpful and competent (Dany and Ernesto) Clean Good location in a quiet area and close to the metro station Walking distance to the Colosseum Breakfast ok - (minuses) Some staff members very incompetent The toilet flush not always strong enough You couldn't set the AC which was quite chilly for me The blanket was uncomfortable The room and the furniture quite old
Some of the staff where kind but unfortunately many of them where not so nice. We stayed there one week with our choir, 16 persons, and we have many stories about what went wrong. For example, we lived in pairs, but only got one key per room. There was two different houses that you needed a key to get in, not only to the room but also to the house. One night one of us came back around midnight, she shared a room with another girl who had come home earlier and left the room door open but she still had to come through the entrance to the other building, so she could not get in. She asked in the reception to open up the entrance door to the other building but they refused, so she had to sleep with another girl that luckily came by then but if she hadn't come by she would have been left in the street. Some of us had big wholes in the bathroom with mold and insects in it. The air con did not always work, the wifi was very poor, there was a lot of sound from the street, the breakfast was horrible (eggs boiled for about 20 minutes so the inside was black and the white was like rubber) and the reception ordered us to eat a specific time, we could not choose to eat during the breakfast time 7-10, they said that we had to eat a specific time such as for ex 9.00 sharp. And it was not cheap to live there! There where many small things with this hotel that was really not good. It is not a 3 star hotel it should have been 2 stars.
The hotel is located only 5 minutes away from the metro, the neighborhood has very nice restaurants and cafes. Staff was very helpful in directing us to how to go to diffrent places. They also offer a very nice breakfast.
Searching for a budget hotel in Rome, Bled Hotel could be a good option. The hotel is not expensive as other hotels are (finding a budget hotel in Rome is impossible) and still maintains the minimum standards of a decent stay. Breakfast was ok. Not sure if I would recommend.
Too expensive for this quality of service. The hotel needs rebovation and refurbishment. The Breakfast is OK. Location is also Ok. Towells blankets etc very old. In the bathroom I found tap of the bide installed on the wash hand stand. Rooms in the the second building are even worse.
