A fabulous little hotel! Close to all amenities, lovely staff ,very friendly, very helpful and respectful. Would definitely recommend, had booked into a supposedly 'higher ranking' hotel the night before ,which was awful , walked out of that the following morning and into the lovely Hotel Caprice , so glad we did ! Beautiful rooms , very, very clean , lovely views and great air con. Ten minute walk from the beautiful fountain, easy access to the 'hop on hop off' bus, around the corner from The Hard Rock Cafe. Cannot rate this lovely gem of a hotel enough ! What started off as a disastrous city break , turned into the most amazing break, all thank to the lovely Hotel Caprice. 👍 Thankyou all staff at the Hotel Caprice x
The location of the hotel could not be better, very close to the Trevi Fountain, within walking distance, and at the same time in a quiet area away from the big tourist crowds. There is also a metro station and bus which can take you to the main attractions. The room very clean and everything seems new and modern, the best was the breakfast times between 6:30-10:30 which gives you a lot of flexibility when planning your visiting day. The only downside was the reception which lacks customer service. Everything is robotic, they do not seem very happy that you arrived and do not give you any information at all. We had to ask literally everything we needed to know and the city map was handed along with a 'this is the map, goodbye' . I think you only expect at least the minimum and a smile in order to feel welcome and not like you ruined their day by showing up.
We spent a few days in Rome and stayed at this hotel. The room was very small but clean and neat and no storage space/drawers for any belongings. There was an in room safe. Breakfast was unimpressive but service was OK. There is a strip joint next door that was not a nuisance or distraction. Also a decent restaurant next door. I must admit that the location was excellent for most of the sights in Rome. Subway just a short walk down the street. You get what you pay for.....
Stayed here for 3 nights, the hotel is tucked away up a side street, the staff are very nice and friendly , always available to assist/advise. Room was great ,had good aircon ,a mini bar & the shower (2 heads) was brilliant. Continental Breakfast selection was very good, there is a club nxt door but I never heard any noise at all.
This is a great little hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very well located and is a five minute walk to the Spanish steps and about 10/11 mins to the Trevi fountain. The staff were very welcoming and spoke perfect English. They were very obliging, booking taxis/ questions / maps etc. The room was very nice and the bathroom was great. Loved the shower especially. Also having air con was essential as Rome in June is extremely hot. Breakfast was fine, continental fare and was enough to get your day started. We would highly recommend this hotel. The restaurant next door was very nice too though I can't remember it's name, they had really good tiramisu. We loved our time in Rome and loved the hotel. It's right beside all the big, high end hotels. Perfect for a short stay. Couldn't fault it.
This hotel was located perfectly. A short walk to the Spanish Steps, then onto the Pantheon and then onto other famous sights. You could plane a tourist walk starting from this hotel. You are also located right next to the American embassy so there is plenty of police and security in the area. We felt very safe to walk the streets of a night thanks to the police presence..... the hotel was very nice. The standard room we had was small but still very comfortable. The rain full shower in the bathroom was sensational.... the included breakfast was very simple but nice. Recommend staying here.
We stayed here for three nights at the end of March, start of April. We booked a standard room and the room we stayed in was very big and cleaned regularly. Plenty of wardrobe space and bathroom was a good size. The location is good in that the metro is nearby and a lot of landmarks are within walking distance. That being said, it's next door to a lap dancing club and you can easily get mixed up on which door is which. This didn't create any issues for us as there was no noise that came from it. Breakfast is continental, very little choice, some pastries, cornflakes, ham and cheese etc. The WiFi is quite poor and unpredictable. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. Also no access to an iron available (though I was told this applied throughout Rome). The pillows were not good. One completely flat pillow. There are also limited shower amenities (one bottle of body wash/shampoo - no conditioner or body lotion). We faced onto the street and there was a lot of noise during the night emptying bins. Overall, it was an adequate and well priced hotel.
Hotel level is Medium rang, Room was well arranged in Modern style but was tooooo small. Room TV & Wifi was great. The breakfast was very very limited choices of food (mainly bread, cheese & pork mortadella!! ) Location is 5 minutes walking distance from Trevi Fountain and one minute walking from Barberinnni subway station. But there are a lot of hotels next to the famous landmarks. The area in front of these hotels are more a live at night. People stay late, drinking, talking, laughing. It's sooo nice. In the future, I will visit Caprice Hotel again :)
Good location. Quiet street. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean room amd bathroom. Fairly spacious. Decent breakfast for 3 star. Only problem noisy heating system but didn't bother us much. Would advise this hotel.
The location for this hotel is excellent as it is around 10 minute walk away from the Metro and within walking distance to the main attractions in Rome, however there are some things which needs some working on. After our first night we woke up itching and with bite-marks therefore we reported this to the Receptionist first thing in the morning before we went out. None of the employees mentioned anything about our query and although the itching reduced throughout the nights, it was still there. On our second day, we had a plumbing issue with the water sink in our bathroom. We were washing our face and the plumbing started to leak from beneath the sink which caused the bathroom to flood. We reported this as well the next morning and the problem was seen to in the next few hours. Breakfast was OK but very basic. Wi-Fi needs to be solved as the connection from our room was hopeless. Content was taking ages to load on our phones/devices. That being said, we enjoyed our stay in the beautiful city of Rome and we rate this hotel 2.5/5
