We stayed in Astrid Roma Suites in Spring this year. We chose an apartment instead of a hotel as we were traveling with our baby and wanted to have 2 rooms and a kitchen. The overall impression of the Suites is very good: clean and well furnished apartment, well equipped kitchen (with breakfast items available) and excellent beds! The bathroom was rather new and the staff very helpful! The location is good, close to the Piazza del Popolo, the Spanish steps, and a subway station (very practical to go to the Vatican). There's lots of small restaurants around so you can wander the streets of the neighborhood and enjoy a good meal or just be part of the Roman life and sit outside with a drink. There's a supermarket close by, this was great as we had lunch and dinner sometimes in our room depending on our baby's naps/ mood etc... Regarding the location, there's a small shuttle bus going down Via Del Corso but it doesn't go often (and it probably doesn't take trolleys) so prepare to walk down to reach Piazza Venezia and other attractions. There are other buses close by, ask the reception and they'll help you. We walked most of the time but in Rome you see something great almost everywhere so I think it's the best way to explore the city. The entrance and the stairs of the hotel are narrow but there is an elevator on the ground floor. I would have otherwise liked to stay in a room with more neutral walls (we got the suite with fuchsia walls) but this is a detail and I got used to it quickly. The windows in the living room and bedroom opened to the street, a busy one! Thankfully we didn't hear anything when closed. All in all: Recommended!

First time visiting Rome with the family, that includes our 17 and 13 year olds. We booked a suite with a kitchenette. The nesspresso machine was amazing! ASR provided us everyday with coffee pods, soft drinks, water bottles, fruit nectar bottles, and some snack items. Great air conditioned suite, very clean, bath robes and slippers provided. There is a wine bar right downstairs where you can have breakfast or sip a prosecco or cold beer in the afternoon. The Spanish steps are withing 7 min walk. Trevi fountain about 15 min walk, the colosseum straight shot 30 min walk. There's a grocery shop opened 24 hr a block away, self laundromat 2 blocks off. Great location, great place, private, quiet, free wifi. We would go again! Highly recommended!

We stayed 3 nights at this lovely hotel right near the Spanish Steps. Great area down a quaint narrow street with many restaurants and shopping. Subway stop is also right there. We had a two room suite that was lovely. Would defiantly come back. Staff was excellent!

It was easy to get to and in the PERFECT spot for moving around Rome. We only stayed one night during the weekend and brought our kids along. Free snacks and drinks in the rooms, rooms were very spacious and the beds were comfortable. The cleanliness could use a lot of work but overall I highly recommend Astird Roma Suites.

Great, perfect location, perfect sized mini apartment located in the central region of the Spanish Steps area...this is a great area to stay at since you are only a 20 minute walk to the main attractions like the Coliseum, and in the middle of great shopping. Reception people at the hotel were very helpful and nice. The in room Nespresso machine made great coffee of all types. The only negative was that we did not have very much hot water to shower with, so be aware of this. We did not even turn on the tv in the room, and why bother since we were in Rome baby! Don't waste time trying to choose restaurants since they are ALL GREAT, especially the ones on via del Croce. Great restaurant near Pantheon was in a back alley to the right near the school, called Ristorante Hosteria Pantheon. The best meal of all was the one we had there. Gelato Venchi was great for all types of chocolate treats. Gelato is everywhere though, and if you enjoy it, then pick randomly and try a bunch...(and no, we are not fat...lol) When we return to Rome, we will stay at at Astrid Roma Suites again.

In our first visit to Rome a good Italian friend recommended Astrid Hotel, as always I checked Tripadvisor for details and decided to book it. Location is great, few steps to Via del Corso, few blocks to Piazzas del Popolo and Spagna. Prior to our arrival, via email, they offered transportation from the airport, we accepted and it worked really nice, they also arranged for other driver for Termini Train station very early when leaving, very helpful. Room spacious and clean, the shower definitely small. Just one weakness, free wifi signal was really weak, we complained several times and it didn't improved. One night our good Italian friend invited us for dinner, he went for us and didn't find us... He was at Astrid Hotel Best Western, the one he recommended. Thanks to Tripadvisor our confusion was a lucky confusion. Maybe, next time we will try the Best Westwern, but this Astrid is all about location, location, and location.

The suite was in a great location and has all the basic stuff that you might need for cooking etc. the livingroom/kitchen was little bit on the small side but you spend most of the time outside in Rome anyway. Overall we really liked the place and we easily walked to many famous touristic spots from there. Our daughter was really happy there, wish could've stay longer. P.s:They've arranged us a cot and a high chair as we requested

Last summer I stayed in this Hotel for five nights we really enjoyed it. Beautiful 2 bedroom suite with kitchen, small table and tv area, nicely decorated and in a great location. The goodies tray offered is definitively a plus. I will definitively recommend this hotel in Rome to my friends great place to stay!

This is a great little place in the centre of Rome within walking distance to many attractions, just 3 doors up from il corso, and only 5 minutes away from the metro. Our two bedroom apartment was very clean and large for what you can expect in Rome. But don't get excited about breakfast, it has coffe/tea making facility and some dried bread It was great for the money we paid. I will stay there again.

A nice hotel with perfect little appartments. In the very heart of Rome, between piazza del Popolo and piazza di Spagna, in a lovely street near many points of interest- never used any means of public transportation-, good value for money. We stayed in the spacious appartment of the top floor with all the necessary facilities( two flat screen tvs, coffe machine, everyday cleaning etc.). I would highly recommend it if only for its perfect location!
