Good location. Tired flat

Great location, patio area was dirty and very hot, really unusable even with the roof open in the summer. Ac worked well. Amenities were very basic, it was the only place out of 5 we stayed at in Italy that did not provide bottled water, I probably would choose a different place. The stair climb to get to the top was not worth it.

Location! Location! Location!

What an exceptional location in the midst of the hubbub of the Trevi Fountain. Good communication with the host and manager. The host sGreat set up with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The separated second bed/bath was great for our traveling group for privacy. The four flights of stairs were challenging with big/heavy suitcases.

Air conditioning in main living quarters not working - sweltering hot. Host unresponsive to me and VRBO reps who tried calling and emailing. The gentleman who checks you in, told us the main AC unit was having problems and he would send over a repair man “Tomorrow.” The repair man never showed up. He also told us he would bring light bulbs for the burned out bulbs - never brought them. Black MOLD in both showers. Broken shower sprays, broken toilet sprays, broken blinds, bathroom window didn’t close because the metal is warped, which let scorching hot heat into the apartment. Terrace filthy. Broken fountain. Bathroom sink drained slow, kitchen sink would hardly drain, dishes in cupboards were dirty, so I had to rewash everything which was fine, except the kitchen was sweltering hot. It looks like a nice flat - but had way too many maintenance issues for the amount of money we paid. Worst part was the host. She was angry, rude, and denied anything was wrong even though we submitted photos to VRBO while we were there. After the second day of no response from the owner, VRBO moved us to another property. Also worth noting, it’s a small, tight, winding staircase that leads 5 stories high into the attic apartment - after walking around Rome all day, you may want to think twice about a roof top apartment. View not special. By law a taxi from airport to the city center is 50 Euros (including van taxies) - host will offer you her driver for 75 Euros.

Wonderful Location and Top Floor Terrace!

Communication with VRBO host, Francesca was always fast and she fully supported all of our questions and requests. She arranged transport from airport - Thank you, Tony! - and allowed us to check in early. Leandro was super helpful at check in. Helped us with luggage up the 4 floors to the apartment, and was available via WhatsApp to help us arrange transport to the train station at the end of our stay - Thank you, again, Tony! One small thing is that without explanation, it's a frustrating learning curve to learn how to open the front door from both the outside and the inside, as well as the door to the apartment. The location is idea, literally steps from Trevi Fountain and large selection of restaurants and doable walks to the Vatican and the Colloseum, with all of the wonderful sights along the way. The terrace was a delight in the evenings with the retractable roof fully open and a nice breeze and bottle of wine to share with friends. The view of the flags atop the Presidential Palace was a lovely sight as well. All around great stay. It's not fancy, but it's clean and has all of the essentials and more. We felt like a local while staying there.

Parfait

Emplacement parfait, logement très agréable, au calme, lits confortables. Terrasse géniale. Rien à redire. Attention : 75 marches et les 10 dernières sont très étroites. réservés aux personnes en bonne forme physique. Je recommande vivement cet appartement. Nous avons adoré rentrer là les soirs après avoir marcher toute la journée dans des rues bondées. Un petit havre de paix en plein centre à 2 pas de Trévi. (30 min de Trastavere, 45 du vatican, 20 du colisée et 10 du Panthéon) Idéal pour 3 (car le canapé lit, même un peu vieillot est confortable) Très bien pour 4 (2 couples) mais possible aussi à 6, et du coup ça fait un appartement pas trop cher ramené au prix par personne.
