BED BUGS!!! We were there at the July 2019. We had a family room. At the midnight we noticed, that there were bed bugs in our beds!!!! We had to wake up our kids and leave the hotel. We changed to another hotel after midnight! We couldn’t stay there. They promised to pay our money back, but I haven’t had any money yet. Don’t go there! Horrible hotel experience!

BED BUGS!!!!! We had a disastrous experience in this Hotel, from the moment we checked-in, to the moment we had to escape from hundreds of bed-bugs at 2am on our first night. We booked A Casa Nostra on Booking.com, however we were sent to another place called HotelHostel instead. NOT what we booked. Money was taken in full, so no chance to leave the place. The on-site parking was on condition that we would leave our car there for two days without being able to leave. So of course when we woke up at 2am being eaten alive by bed bugs, it took us two hours to be able to drive out of the place. An absolute horrendous experience for four friends just wanting to enjoy two nights in Rome. See photos of the room we thought we were going to get, vs. the room we ACTUALLY got.

Avoid unnecessary confusion and stress to your trip by just skipping over this accommodation and it’s affiliates like hotel hostel. The management is horrible and basically use their staff to face unhappy customers and try to hide when tried to be spoken to. We booked our accommodation at Casa Nostra and we received an email to check in at a different location which was ten minutes away. Whatever that part was fine but then we get there and no one is there to check us in even though in the email we told them what time we’d arrive. We called them and waited in the rain for someone to finally show up. They didn’t check us in at Casa Nostra which we booked but checked us in at hotel hostel. We booked a room with a private bathroom but we ended up with a room with a shared bathroom. We also booked the accommodation because it was close to public transaportion since it was just two girls to avoid any unwanted situations. The place they booked us was ten minutes away from public transportation that the streets are poorly lit. They told us when we got there that they didn’t have room for us at Casa Nostra and didn’t even let us know ahead of time so we could cancel and arrange different accommodation that suited our needs. The guy checked us in told us we would have to wait until the next day to talk to someone about it and then the guy who showed up was not even management and couldn’t do anything about it. We were only staying for two nights and basically they kept telling us to wait until it was too late. We asked to speak to management constantly and finally on our last day, management basically blows us off and since we already stayed they can’t do anything. The people who work there are nice and friendly. I just feel bad that they have to work for horrible people. If you need WiFi, it sucks.

If you are going to Rome with the intention of staying in your hotel all day, stay away. The rooms are small and the WiFi is spotty. However, the location couldn't be better. Just steps away from a Metro stop and a short walk from all of the archeological ruins of Ancient Rome. Our day trips were made easier with their helpful service, breakfasts and proximity.

The most stressful hotel booking experience I've ever had, pay more money to stay elsewhere i have had lot less stress planning a trip to Tokyo. If you want the stress of wondering whether or not your room is going to be moved to another hotel due to double booking. I would wait and save more money next time than choosing this as an option as its easily the worst hotel i've stayed in and was still pricey. It's impossible to find with no signage out the front, the reception is more difficult to contact then tfl and the other customer reviews highlight that your booked room is not guaranteed. The breakfast was small, tasteless and bland, furthermore the room was very humid.

We have stayed five nights in this guest house and everything was very good. First I must say that in this page under the information and the address of the guest house the number of the building is 1, but it's wrong! The correct number is 217 and when you arrive you should press bell number 1. The staff are truly helpful and friendly. They speak very fluent English and give great sightseeing advice. The breakfast is simple but delicious. You can choose a hot drink in the morning ( cappuccino, espresso, latte, hot milk, hot chocolate and tea) with fresh yummy croissant and a glass of fruit juice. The location of the place is great though. It's so easy to get to if you arrive in rome by train. From Terminni station it's only two stops away. Get off the metro in Manzoni station, when you come out, it's just a 2-minute walk to arrive at the place to be welcomed by the friendly receptionist. The location is also great for sight seeing, within 10 minute walk from the famous Collesiom, and other attractions are around as well. We ourselves walked pretty much to everywhere. Another point which I have to mention is the cleanness of the place. It's really clean and spotless. The only thing which can be a down point for the place is that the staff leave at 2 pm. They of course provide you with two emergency phone numbers in case, but would be much more helpful if they are around more. Though we didn't face any problems. If you are the kind of person who wants to explore Rome, looking for helpful and honest advice on what to do when in the city and wants to rest in a quiet safe place at night, then A Casa Nostra is the place!

Great value for money, excellent sight seeing information. Breakfast tasty but small - freshly baked brioche. Rooms cleaned every day. Great location - short walking distance to metro and 15 minutes to Colloseum. Parking on the street.

This guest house was perfect. Stay where amazing and extremely friendly. They gave excellent sight seeing information. They breakfast was delicious. The rooms where very clean and the wee garden was just delightful. It was in easy commute to everything, by walking or by metro. There was excellent restaurants in the area to so you don't have to walk far in the evening for food. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Without a doubt the worst hotel I've stayed in. We booked off Agoda a room with airconditioning . We arrived at the hotel and checked in only to be told we weren't staying at that hotel but a different one 10 minutes down the road, given directions and told to go. The hotel address we booked was not where we stayed - dodgy to begin with. We arrived at the second hotel to find a tiny room with an air conditioner that didn't work meaning our room was over 30 degrees. There was only a sheet on the beds and a mini fridge in the room without any cutlery cups or other kitchenware. The rooms looked nothing like the pictures on the website and the beautiful garden mentioned on the website was a tiny courtyard that was all bricks no plants. We tried to contact staff multiple times regarding no aircon -there is no staff in the hotel after 2pm and we tried the emergency phone number, number on the website, email and Facebook message and we still haven't had any of our messages replied to! Very appalling to not be able to contact staff at the hotel at all. On the last day of our stay after finally seeing a staff member staff fixed the air con but it still didn't work well and the room was never under 25 degrees. Also on this last day there was no hot water in the hotel. We asked staff not to clean our room and came back one afternoon to be told we couldn't go into our room because the staff were in there cleaning - when we entered nothing had been cleaned, towels not replaced nothing. So we're unsure why they were in our room. Lastly, the breakfast promised on the website was one pastry per person for breakfast, they were often burnt. Definitely not an adequate breakfast. All of this together caused a pretty terrible stay. You don't get what you book and pay for. Horrible hotel.
