Super 8 St Robert Ft Leonard Wood Area

2.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Had worked 8-hours then drove 7 to get to St. Robert. Reserved at a Brand-name Hotel that was at the lower end of the price range. Nice thing is that it took no time at all to check in and start the rest. We stayed in a smoking room, my wife does smoke, but the entire floor was overpowering with it's smoke residue. Continental B-fast was limited in it's offerings.

Was all we needed consideringwe spent most time on army base

It was close to interstate easy to find. Hotel staff very friendly. It was clean and comfortable. But it was aged and need a refresh to carpet.

The pool was freezing cold. Could not swim which is the reason I booked this room. Hot tub? Covered with wood with a table on it Breakfast was fair. Room was nice. Staff.... Cheer up people. That's your job.

Quick stop for the night. Staff was friendly. Room was clean, just not a lot of extras but it was just one night so it good overall.

Good location, friendly staff, good pricing, filthy pool.

convenient location and very helpful front desk staff

Nice clean room. Comfy bed. Could have used firmer pillows.

We stayed for only one night, the staff was great, continental breakfast was good, not a huge spread but has your basics. Only down fall was the pools indoor heater was broke. Highly recommend staying here, planning on staying here again next time!

I was very disappointed with our recent stay there. The pool heater was out of service so we could not get into the pool, the jacuzzi that was advertised was also non existent. While we were out the staff came into clean the room but all they did was change out the towels and dress the bed. I had empty bottles in the room that were just left there. I am not sure if the issue was the remote or the tv service but it was quite difficult to watch tv and change channels.

Ok for one night stay. Lot of noises from doors closing thru out the night. Could have better insulation. Can hear people walking over your head when i was in the room in middle floor.

Everything was clean, cozy. Not too far from base. Great staff.

I stayed overnight for graduation at Ft Leonard Wood and the staff was very helpful. They allowed me to check in early and even gave me directions on how to get to the base. My room was clean and worth the money. My only (minor) complaint would be that the AC (which I can't sleep without) turns on and off automatically when the room reaches the desired temp but that kept waking me up, I'm used to the AC just staying on lol

Grandson graduated - four of us stayed. Everything was great except for the rollaway bed my son slept on - know they're not the greatest but this one was all springs and no padding.

dead bugs in the bathroom, cobwebs behind desk and on the ceiling and walls. no extra pillows available and two jets In spa did not work. my personal rating is poor to disgusting

We arrived at the hotel at 6:30am after driving the past 8 hours was worried that we would not have a place to go to freshen up before family day at Fort Leonard Wood, with my grandson, but the staff was very considerate of our long journey and got us into our room early. The pool area was also very clean and always had plenty of towels.

Everyone was very nice staff was super friendly! But I think room service only came at one time in the day and it was around 9 while we were still there and never came back so we had to ask for more towels but other than that it was good, pretty cheap too!

Food was nothing to brag about. Room was OK. Recommend for short stays

When we went to our room the door was open and we went inside and the bed had no blankets on it so we assumed they where not done cleaning and we waited for someone to come back well no one did., the bathroom was gross there was someone else's hair stuck in the hair dryer and all over the sink. If they would do a better job cleaning the hotel would have been great.

The hotel was easy to find as St Roberts is easy to navigate. We arrived at 1am due to bad weather and had tried to call the hotel but the phone would ring twice and hang-up. Tried to call for 4 hours! When we arrived I told the clerk about the phone issue and he said that he would look into it. He also told me the hours of the pool. We got up to our room and the key card would not let us in! I was very tired and this was upsetting! Went down stairs and met others in the elevator, I said that I hoped their key worked when they got to their room. I then went to the front desk and said that my key would not work. We ended up having to switch rooms. The other people that I had met in the elevator also had a key problem! The next morning we went to breakfast(which was fine) and noticed the sign on the door of the pool room that the pool was closed! So why did the clerk tell me the pool hours if the pool was closed? I found out later that the pool had been closed and would not be open the entire 3 night stay!!!! This was a major disappointment. The ice machine on our floor did not work the entire stay also. I have stayed in a Super 8 before with no problems but this stay was not so super!
