Excellent customer service. We were heading home during snowy conditions and the property manager gave us suggestions about the safest roads to take down the mountain without us even having to ask. Very good price for what you get! Loved it! Will be returning!
Really cute decor in the Moose Haven! Great internet and TV access too. Well stocked kitchen and loved having an oven to bake cookies too.
Excellent value
First of all, the pictures of the property look a lot better than the actual place. So what looks like a nice in the photograph looks downright dumpy when you get there. That's how technology is hurting the consumer. Second, there is no service they provide whatsoever. No takeout of trash, vacuuming, tidying the bed, cleaning the rooms, etc. For $172 a night, I would expect some sort of service, and we came in the off-season. The prices are much higher in the high season. At least the bathroom water was warm.
Smelled bad and did not reflect the pictures shown.
Thumbs up
We loved our stay at Nicky’s. It was so relaxing and we enjoyed the river running through. We can’t wait to come back when the restaurant opens!
Great little property, It was very homey and clean. We learned the property had just changed hands but the new staff was very helpful with some food suggestions and also some hiking suggestions. The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable after some long hikes. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Estes Park.
The room was just ok. It’s a typical motel room, nothing fancy for sure. Definitely in need of a few updates. We stayed one night and that was plenty. The blinds covering the sliding door in our room were NASTY. Definitely in need of an update. It was fine for a place to crash, but not suitable for anything else. Overpriced in my opinion
Total disappointment! The entire place needs an upgrade. Very old and tiny room. Everything in the room was like it was falling apart. Price charged per night was outrageous compared to the quality.
The property is beautiful, with the river running through it. Enjoyed sitting outside. The rooms are dated, but clean.
Love being on Fall River. The property is very clean and nice restaurant next door. Saw an elk on trail next to motel.
Nice with stream and mountain feel
Very friendly staff!
Beautiful for everyone. Brought grandkids and it was great for whole family.
I found Nicky’s Resort to be absolutely charming! It has a timeless, vintage feel with whimsical decor that made me feel so cozy. The staff was extra friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for getting both to downtown Estes Park and Rocky Mountain. Although this is not a cutting edge modern motel, the rustic feel is everything I was looking for in a nostalgic trip to the mountains. It was safe, clean, and private (minus the thin walls!). I would stay here again!
Quiet and comfortable. Staff was friendly and accomodating.
Very nice location. Very close to RMNP.
