This is the 2nd time we've stayed here. A week's stay both times. The rooms are fine for the price and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Safe and a convenient location. We will stay there again on our next visit.

Friendly staff, and large, clean rooms although the decor is dated and the showers aren't great. The old-school, park outside-of-your-room layout of the hotel makes it a little noisy. All in all I would stay here again.

I think the location is nice, room is clean, parking is spacious. But I would not recommend it because the breakfast is terrible. I ended up have an extra breakfast after the one in there. I would rate the hotel higher if they skip breakfast and drop a few bucks on the price, or they raise the price but serves better food. Another slight inconvenience is that the shampoo is only stacked in the front office, which is fine for me but still not ideal.

We had a great stay! The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Basic breakfast was included. For the price, you really can't beat this place! Would definitely recommend to all.

I used to work weekends, on call, in Rockford at a local hospital. My husband wanted to come out and visit since work was slow. We got this room for a great price and it was close enough to the hospital but also close to restaurants etc. Obviously old but very warm and they allowed dogs so our puppy was able to come with us and he really enjoyed the room as well. The bathroom is big which was nice.

Staff was just terrible. Room was not comfortable. Shower was broken

Great location and Friendly staff. Room was clean and didn't smell

We have a dog so I like motels with an outside entrance so we can easily come, go and walk our dog when he's in a hurry to go out. There was a small grassy strip with 3 trees, and stone bench in the cul-de-sac right across from our room. It was perfect for walking our dog late at night without having to go near busy streets. The room was clean, beds comfortable, the heat/air conditioner was quiet and kept the room temperature very comfortable. Some minor things that we found annoying though, the TV reception and the fact that there was no hair dryer nor shampoo. (I forgot to pack our shampoo but glad I didn't forget the hair dryer). In the morning I called the receptionist and asked if they had shampoo at the front desk for guest. She said yes but I was a little upset when I had to get dressed and walk in the rain to get shampoo before my shower. I was wondering why they didn't ask us if we needed shampoo when we registered last night? This is the first time I stayed in a motel that didn't have these amenities in the room. Also the toilet seat was falling off and needs to be fixed Another thing, after registering I asked the receptionist if those were full size beds shown in the photos of the room on their website. Her answer was that they have either queen or king size beds in their motel, no double beds. Our beds were double beds which are smaller than queen, just like I thought after seeing the photos. I didn't mind but some people might so they should let you know what size beds are in the rooms. Also I think the sheets were queen size because they were quite loose on the bed. One last thing, the carpet looked soiled in the entrance. Aside from these complaints we would still stay there because of the location, price is right and it's very convenient with our dog. Also they don't charge a pet fee and limit the size of dogs.

We arrived later in the evening, when the girl at the front desk was ready to be done with her shift. Our room was very spacious and clean, but the beds were a little uncomfortable. The floor was creaky under the new carpet, and the water pressure in the shower was non-existent. The area was very safe and we had a quiet night of uninterrupted sleep.

Rooms were dingy and unapealing. But worst was the bed linens and towels. White sheets gray, wrinkled, old and one had to hope they were changed since the last guest departed. Couldn't tell by looking at them. One flat dirty pillow. Towels looked and felt like cast offs from a third world hostel. Would not return. Would prefer to sleep in my car.

The rooms are kind of small, but nice. All rooms are on the ground. This motel is in a very good location.

Room was very inviting however bathroom tub and toilet seem dated...

Watched TV and slept. It would have been good to have an iron. I was concerned about security being a single female. No frills available there.
