U get what u pay for as they say.Very old everything-- carpeting, blankets, tube tv! Window on our first floor room stayed closed with a plank of wood. Vanity light was very dim

We stayed at this hotel recently and it was far and away the worst hotel I've ever set foot in. The staff was friendly, and it was cheap. Those were literally the only two positives I can think of. The parking lot was a mess with cracks and busted asphalt. The building was old and run down. The hallways and room had a nasty smell. The furniture in the room was very old and in poor condition. The bathroom was small and piping was exposed in the shower. I wouldn't stay here again unless it was the absolute last resort. We had the room booked for another night and actually chose to drive home early rather than stay here another night. If Super 8 would invest some money into fixing the place up, I think it would do well considering its proximity to local draws. Until then, unfortunately I'd have to say DO NOT stay here.

Staff very accommodating and helpful....pleasant surroundings

Hotel needs some updates. Just looking for a place to sleep not too bad

Furniture was uncomfortable and old. Very noisy could hear people in the hall and the room above. Not a fan of the continental breakfast that was there.

disappointing rundown property . rooms were very outdated . drunks in the parking lot. what more can I say ,3 guys fighting in the park next to the hotel . all though on the up side the police got there pretty fast to run them off . but know I couldn't in good conscience recommend this property .I wont being staying there again .

Little older than I thought it would be. Noisy plumbing and could hear the people over us walk across the floor. Had a pool we wanted to use, but never did get around to do that, maybe next time.

The staff was great, but the property is run down, we were in room 109, it was very damp, rust all over the pipes in the bathroom, holes in the carpet, pillows were hard, flat, lumpy and very old as were the blankets. If we had gotten in any earlier I would have refused to stay, but it was late and we were tired. Other than the very nice staff I would never stay there again.

The accommodations were only acceptable. The elevator trip was interesting the first time so we used the stairs for the remainder of the stay. The beds were below average, but were ok for a one night stay.

Quick visit - location was great. Okay for a place to stay.

The location was perfect for prime viewing of the county fair across the street. Easy to find location. Breakfast was nice.

Room was clean and breakfast was nice. The pool looked nice but I didnt have a chance to test it out.

The room was nice. It just had a corner that reeked of dog urine that needs to be cleaned. Luck of the draw. A different room or a room that did not reek of dog urine would have been great! Otherwise the rest of the hotel was nice.

No thrills basic acceptable motel. Actually the rooms where quite decent comfy beds.

This hotel is a good value and provides quick access to the Apache mall, food stores and eating places. Also, the Mayo Clinic is a short ride from the hotel.

I needed a hotel that was affordable and dog friendly which means you can't necessarily have high expectations but this place is in need of an overhaul. The pool was closed. The remote for the TV was missing which according to the help is due to the fact they don't have enough for all the rooms. As a dog owner you have to stay on the third floor along with the smokers so you're forced to deal with permanent stench of cigarette smoke in the hall which also trickles into your room as well. The best part is the location. There are quite a few places to eat close by and easy freeway access.

Our room temperature varied from cold to hot and didn't seem to matter what the thermostat was set on. The mattresses were very uncomfortable and so were the pillows. The pool and hot tub area was closed the 3 days we were there and we were not told that when we booked the hotel online. My sister is a cancer patient and enjoys the therapeutic aspects of the hot tub. We were extremely disappointed when it was closed.

We had a real nice stay here in Rochester, Enjoyed breakfast bar!

I requested a non-smoking room and received a smoking room. It stunk and it was dirty.

I thought this would be no frills for a visit to Mayo, but safe and clean and the pool is a nice addition. The hotel is old and smells and really isn't clean. The bed is THE WORST MATTRESS I have ever slept on -- no padding, springs everywhere, threadbare sheets. The breakfast is nothing much. The pool cannot outweigh the terrible mattress and marginal cleanliness.

Thank you for reviewing our hotel. I apologize for your dissatisfaction with your stay. We have upgraded rooms available for booking that have been remodeled. The building was painted last week and the parking lot is scheduled to be resurfaced this fall. We are working on updating more rooms this winter. Again I apologize for your dissatisfaction.

Thank you for reviewing our hotel. We always like to hear from our guests. I am sorry there was disruptive behavior in the park near the hotel. I'm happy the Rochester Police Department was able to quickly resolve the issue and it was not connected to the hotel. We are starting a remodel this fall and hope to continue to improve our accommodations.
