I booked and paid through orbitz, but the hotel took my credit card information (I figured for incidentals) and they charged me a second time. Still working to get it cleared up. I needed a room close to the hospital to be near my friend, and wasn't expecting much for the price. What I got was a room with stains on the carpet, paint peeling in both the room and the bathroom, rock hard beds, and a fight in the hallway.

Great, except beds were old and uncomfortable! Didn't sleep well

Our stay was much better than I expected after checking reviews and pictures. Big room, great breakfast with hot items. Friendly stuff. We did not stay there because of the clinic, but as I saw the faicilities it should be a perfect stay because of that if needed.

Overnight only for medical education. Why do you keep asking me for more details?

I love that they have shuttles to the Mayo Clinic - The breakfast staff is friendly and clean!

Room was dirty and old. Blankets stunk, really bad! The bathroom was nasty; couldn't see yourself in the mirror, hair in the bathtub, screws missing from light switches, hair on the bed, rips on the chair, etc. The pool was FREEZING and the hot tub made our eyes burns within 2 min of being in it! It was NOT what I was expecting! I will search for something else next time I need to stay in Rochester, MN.

Good hotel for a relax weekend, big room with desk and table, average continental breakfast

The location was perfect just a few minutes away from any major attractions, shopping and a little over an hour from Mall Of America. The facility is always clean & secure and the staff and maintenance crew is top notch. I have already booked another stay and the pricing is right.

the room was nice but not much for seating to relax and watch tv

I stayed for 4 nights and was impressed with this place. Clean when I arrived, cleaned consistently. I got a junior executive suite which meant I had a full sized fridge, stove, microwave, couch, recliner... and a dishwasher! Granted, I didn't use most of it because I wasn't there enough (I was visiting relatives) but for what I paid it was a great deal. You'll pay more than staying at one of the ultra-cheaps (e.g. Motel 6 etc.) but it's well worth it in my opinion. They also have an indoor pool (it was January so no one used it, lol) and a small exercise room which I thought was a big plus for a well kept place that doesn't charge an arm and a leg. I'll be back in Rochester in the summer and plan on booking here again. BTW, it adjoins Famous Dave's barbecue, and you get 15 off if you show them your key card. And since it was -7 when I was there, it was nice not even needing to go outside to go to the restaurant.

Extremely kid friendly. We had a great time, good breakfast, and happy with later check out!

We had a quick trip to Rochester for a doctor's appointment. The hotel was a lot nicer and bigger then I expected. We didn't get a lot of time to check everything out. The room was okay, the hall smelled like weed. Overall, the stay was okay.

This was a nice place to stay while I passed through the area. It was a clean, safe place with few nice restaurants nearby.

I come to the area to spend time with my girls. Im in Rochester 3 times a month. We always have a good time. The pool is never over crowded. It is always clean as well. I have never had any issues at all.

Convenient location close to the interstate and Mayo facilities. Spacious, clean room. A great value when other places have rates about double the GuestHouse. There was some remodeling going on, but the workers were clean and quiet.

This appears to be a former Holiday Inn that got too aged to keep. That said, the management is doing a fine job. Rooms are very spacious and clean. My main issue was the bed itself. It had a thin mattress pad under the sheet that kept bunching up and made for an uncomfortable night overall. Famous Dave's BBQ is adjacent and offers 10% off hotel guests. The breakfast was minimal. If you're hungry, Perkins is across the street.

We've stayed at the GuestHouse Inn & Suites before. We like the location of the motel and the size of the rooms. The breakfast was as good or better than most places. I would consider this a budget motel but it is one of the better ones we've stayed at.

We were on a cross-country road trip and needed a place to just crash and go. This place was great bc the rooms were CHEAP, the place was CLEAN, and the place was ROOMY. Other perks: - 6am breakfast: nice bc we wanted to hit the road early the next day - Beds: Good, solid. Didn't sag and wasn't mushy. - Fast checkout: just call front desk and tell them you're out. Leave the keys in the room and take off. Easy as pie :) Overall, great experience and would DEFINITELY do it again.

A 1 star rating is about right. Location and shuttle service was the best part of the stay
