The hotel staff was extremely nice and helpful. My room was on the top floor and was extremely hot. We turned the heat off, opened the window and tried to get the air conditioning to stay on continuously but it would not work. By midnight our room had to have been 90 degrees. When I called the front desk they offered to switch my room because maintenance was not there but I declined as it was midnight and I didn't want to pack everything up (a dog and child) and move. They said they would have maintenance look into the heat problem in the morning. By the next morning we had turned the unit off and just kept the window open in 30-40 degrees. It did help and we were comfortable that night. Early the first morning when taking the dog out, there was someone sleeping in their car while the car was turned on. I let the front desk know and they had said they saw the person at 1am in the same place. My car was parked right next to the car. They said they would take care of it, when we left about about an hour later, the car was still there with the person sleeping in it and the car was running. I came back about 3 hours later and the car was still there with the person in it. Not sure why it was not taken care of and why they would allow someone to sleep in the hotel parking lot. You have a lot of people taking their dogs outside and it was probably not safe.

Our air conditioner had issues. Staff was like family!

This hotel is convenient with a special shuttle service for Mayo Clinic stays. The in-room kitchenette in my room came with a full size refrigerator and freezer, a stove with two burners, a large microwave...and a kitchen sink, perfect for preparing meals and saving on costly restaurant bills. The room was neat and clean, not particularly fancy in any respect. The free breakfast wasn't anything to write home about. Free wifi in the lobby with a printer was helpful for planning travel.

Standard accommodation. Clerk showed flexibility in allowing early check-in. 2-night stay while a family member received treatment at Mayo Clinic. Room was not made up or cleaned for second day. Walls are somewhat thin - 1st night I could hear normal conversation for many hours in adjacent room. Breakfast was ready promptly at early hour before my departing flight, thank you.

This hotel was ,fine. Nice and close to Mayo Clinic and not too expensive. Got a nice reduced rate through Orbitz bucks for the first night. Second night got the "Mayo discount" which was different for the night staff vs. the day staff. Not a big deal, but a little disconcerting.

Hotel is located on the south of Rochester and is easy to get to. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. Room was clean; bed was a bit hard. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Would rate this hotel excellent for the price. Very clean. We used the free shuttle to and from the Mayo Clinic, which was very convienient.

After a whole frustrating day at the hospital I was pleasantly surprised by the staff, they noticed how dead tired I was and were willing to help out if Iwanted food delivered. The place being remodeled was the only inconvenience but the staff more than makes up for it.

Room was clean and comfortable, and they had full cable with AMC, so we could watch the Walking Dead. Nothing fancy but it did have a full kitchen and basic free breakfast. It's about a 15 minute drive from the Mayo Methodist campus.

met expectations. liked shuttle service. good breakfast . beds were a little hard but overall good hotel

My wife and I enjoyed our second stay at this hotel this year. The staff are all very professional and pleasant. The accomodations and pricing were good. I will stay there again when I return to Rochester MN.
