Clean rooms, very helpful owners, excellent on-site restaurant !

The general room was clean but the fridge and coffee maker still held the previous tenants beverages. The restaurant is closed Sunday's and Monday’s ALL hours and there is NO breakfast area or breakfast, as advertised or pictured. Had to eat gas station food for dinner and if I hadn’t brought my own protein bar there would have been no breakfast either. The desk was unmanned/ locked actually, and as the only car in the lot with not a soul in site, I felt unsafe. The town is quiet without any amenities, so the motel needs to provide basic food and comfort items to bring people back to this location. The “natural pool” added to the creepy feel. I wanted to like this location for the quiet scenic view on this business trip but it falls too short.

The restaurant was really good. The room was nice and straight from the 80’s, but smelt like mold.

Terribke mildew smell throughout the room (#112) and the picture near the basin was covered in green mold/mildew! Large toad was by the toilet the next morning (can't imagine if I'd have stepped on it in the night! And you'd think after a COVID year, folks would be welcoming...not so.

Pleasant motel - no frills; dated but comfortable.

We had reservations but there wasn’t staff to check us in. We had to drive back to the nearest town and call them to meet us back at motel to check us in

We would stay again, nothing fancy. Restaurant was good, a little pricey. If traveling thru, consider it a good nights stay!

I confirmed and paid for Continental breakfast. Upon arrival, I was told that was not correct. I showed my pre-paid invoice, but the owner refused to address it. There was no refrigerator, no microwave, no coffee machine and the nearest fast food restaurant was 20 min. away. I would have chosen a different hotel with better amenities due to the false advertisement and the cost paid for such a remote location.

I highly suggest this hotel to the parents of campers and staff of camp cheerio it is so close and convenient

Our room was attractive and mostly comfortable. I give the inn high marks for cleanliness and the attentiveness of staff. Drawbacks were: one pf our mattresses sagged in the middle and I had tp swap beds in the middle of the night because of back pain. Also, it was difficult to find a good place to eat breakfast. Other wise, the rates were reasonable.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us. Finding beverages in the fridge is not acceptable. Our restaurant is only open Tuesday- Saturday for dinner only which has been for years. Our town Roaring Gap is a gem to most people they adore the charm and quietness. Breakfast is not included as I did look where you made a reservation and it says, breakfast. I have told Expedia that we do not offer it after Covid . After a very busy weekend we had a bunch of errands to run Monday morning. Thank you for your comment.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us so sorry .we are a small inn and trying to stay afloat , with all that has happened in the past year. The picture is gone & I guess with all the rain that we have had the frog must have come in unexpectedly.

Thank you for choosing High Meadows Inn. Sorry that I was not in the office at the time of your arrival. I did put a note on the door, to call. But now I realize that not all guests cell phones work in the MTS. I had just stepped away for a few minutes. Sorry
