Stayed at this hotel for 1 night on a road-trip. The room was much larger than I expected -- separate bed space and living room space, which was great for spreading out. Our room also had a mini fridge and a large bathroom. It was very clean. The location of this hotel was fine for us, as we were driving the Blue Ridge Parkway and not really exploring Roanoke, but it's not very walk able to a downtown area. The hotel does have a full restaurant and bar though, so if you are coming in late this might be a good option. There is a full breakfast buffet in the morning, which you have to pay separately for. The take-away coffee is complimentary thought! Note: there is a hospital with a helipad close by, which we could hear from our room. It wasn't loud enough to keep us up, just something to note if you are a very light sleeper.

Was a very nice hotel for the money; close to several attractions. Staff was friendly and the room was clean and well laid out.

Visiting the area and going to Black Dog Salvage. Was expecting to find the regular hotel experience but was pleasantly surprised to find the Cambria hotel in Roanoke VA. Friendly staff, clean facility, awesome hot tub and indoor pool area. Will definitely stay here again!

Hotel just 300 yards from the medical institute so very convenient. Staff friendly and helpful, very relaxed. Rooms comfortable and clean. Nice place to stay for a business meeting.

I had a pleasant stay. The only drawback is that the shuttle isn't unavailable until 6:30am and that was an issue since I had a flight at 7am. That information should have been on the website.

The staff was super and very responsive. Hotel was super clean and we liked our view of the star. But what I loved most was the shuttle service. That made it so easy and convenient. Will stay again.

The room was clearly designed not just for cleanliness but with some fashion sense too. The hotel is classier than your average place with a restaurant on the main floor with bar for alcohol as well as breakfast drinks in the morning.

It was nice all in all. Just check your glasses before drinking out of them, they are not always clean. The hot tub was way too hot and the chemicals burnt our skin. The pool is excellent. Beware of the vending machines!!!!!!!!!!!! We had to get our money back from the machines because you would put in a 5 and it would take the whole thing for one soda.

Excellent place! Highly recommended! Great if visiting the hospital Or med school.

This is a great hotel with great amenities and close to the medical center. I stay at this hotel each time I'm in town on business. Unfortunately, smoking is allowed right outside the door and I had to walk through a cloud of smoke to enter the hotel. With both a high rate of smoking and lung cancer in the Roanoke valley, and the fact that this hotel serves many who come to the medical center either on business or as patients, it is unfortunate that this is public health issue is the way to greet guest. With that said, it is still my first choice of a hotel and I will continue to stay here.

The rooms are nice size, the place is spotless, the towels are soft. A nice value for the money and always quiet. It's my 'go to' spot in Roanoke.

Stayed 4 nights during Thanksgiving holiday. Indoor parking was nice because it snowed 1 of the days there. Close to downtown and Mill Mountain. Will stay there again next trip to Roanoke.

Very comfortable and spacious; the room feels much larger than it actually is. The sofa-with-TV nook is an added bonus.

It was great to stay here when we had to be at the hospital the next morning.

The hotel is about 2 miles away from the Roanoke Civic Center (the Bar site) which doesn't make it the closest hotel but who cares when they offer you a free shuttle ride?! For someone who went up w/o a car it was a lifesaver. The room was also clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is a little pricey but I'd stay there again should I find myself back in Roanoke.

Hotel is clean and modern. The pool is small, but it was perfect for my small kids. When booking through third party online site, my reservation initially said that there was free breakfast. However, the hotel does not have have free breakfast. They were nice enough to honor the free breakfast.

We were staying here for the Noble Warriors Iron Sharpens Iron Conference. We got a great group rate which included a full breakfast. The rooms were very comfortable with everything we needed. The bed was the best we have slept in (and we just spent a month in NZ and AUS, so we have slept in many hotels/beds).

My second time staying at Cambria in Roanoke. This is actually the closest hotel to my parent's house so my location preference may be different from others. For proximity to downtown, only Hotel Roanoke is nicer and way more expensive. Very clean, very comfortable, friendly staff, and centrally located to the whole valley. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Roanoke.

Ive stayed here on 3 different occasions, twice for business and once for pleasure. Great place, impeccable rooms, and great for relaxing too. I'll definitely be back again.

Very nice. The staff was just outstanding, very helpfull and courtious. Convenient to Carilion Memorial Hospital. The hotel has good parking.
