We had a very pleasent stay at Kin-Ha. The rooms are very spacious and they have a nice coatrack to hang your stuff. Everything was very clean and we loved the hammock. The reception was very helpfull spanish and sometimes English. After check-out we clould leave our bags en later on take a shower before we left for Belize! Very helpfull! We would stay here again. Central at the centre and bike ride aqua from the nice beaches
Located on a quiet side street, this bare bones, but super clean and cozy small hotel is a good bet if you want to stay in the town of Tulum. Less than 2 blocks from the main action area of the town, its still got the vibe of a little country inn. The staff, who are actually European, are very nice and helpful. They gave me tips on places to hang out that are off of the beaten path which was a big help in Tulum which is literally crawling with tourists in Feb..... but then it's all relative, I guess. I had just come from a real dump in Isla Mujeres, so this little hotel felt like paradise to me. A good choice if you like bohemian, offbeat kind of places!
I found it clean and tidy, with the room having a attractive interior design each room had a large hammock over looking the gardens. free bottles of water also large water butt in the gardens for top ups. I only stayed the one night before traveling on to Coda
Kin-Ha has got good things going for it like being close to most restaurants, beaches you might want to visit in Cancun. Most hotels in Tulum are very pricey and this is an OK option if you do have a limited budget. The rooms are nice and bathroom is well kept. The bad thing about this hotel is that you need transportation to get to most places. Either you take a taxi, drive a car, or get on a bike. Most of the spots you do want to go in Tulum are not walking distance away. The staff was really nice and they did provide a lot of guidance in how to navigate through Tulum.
Room was clean. front desk person not too frienfly. Need more items for guests. Bathroom only had shampoo and a really small bar of soap. No toothpaste. No TV. Rooms were noisy. not enough off street parking. But I guess for the price .....
If you are traveling by car and need to stop for an over-night in Tulum, Hotel Kin Ha is a neat and clean, neighborhood hotel that is only a few blocks off highway 307. It is not on the beach, so I wouldn't call it a "destination hotel", but a nice shower and great AC at an affordable price make it a worthy consideration if you are staying in town.
Kin Ha Pueblo is an ok hotel. Clean, but very basic. As of this review, many rooms are having A/C installed — but during our stay they were installling it in the room next to us. It was quite noisey. On top of this our ceiling fan sounded like a jet-engine. Maybe it was broken. We asked the reception for a room change, but this was not possible. We were promissed that the floor-fan from the reception would be placed in our room at night, to make sleeping easier. But this never happened. So, all in all a nice clean hotel — that will be even greater, once they install new fans/ac.
The hotel is clean and comfortable and located on a quiet street close to the canter. The staff, notably the receptionist, was warm, welcoming and very helpful. I highley recommend this hotel when in Tulum.
The Hotel Kin Ha offers fairly affordable rooms in the center of the tulum village. accomodation are a bit rustic but there is AC and comfortable beds mae your sleep comfortable. It was rainy the night we stayed so the little patio was very humid, and some mosquitoes made their way through the door. It could have been better insulated, but we slept comfortably anyway. Bathroom is very clean and convenient. Location is great, you can go out walking to book some tours or eat/drink. The hotel also has a free parking lot at the entrance if you have rented a car. Personal is very sympathetic and helpful, they kept our luggage the day we checked out so we could go to the beach. Kudos to them!
My gf and I enjoyed this hotel. It is well located in the village. I don't recommend staying at the hotels on the beach. The vibe is too hippy/yoga. If you are looking for bars, restaurants, stay at the village and bike to the beach. The hotel is nice, with a nice courtyard. Beautiful plants. Breakfast is very basic but it's breakfast. I suggest walking a couple streets down and going to La Malquerida for a ceviche.
