Serious maintenance let down everywhere you look. The cleaning ladies and breakfast staff are great!

Easy access to 5th Avenue shopping and restaurants. The hotel is a bit run-down, but the hotel staff was warm and helpful. No blankets on the beds was a bit of a surprise. Only a sheet. The breakfast was cooked to order in a fun setting.

Gracias por la hospitalidad, en particular a Julián que se porto muy bien el chico. Thank you for the hospitality right in front of the action. Your door step is la Quinta Ave which was convenient and made everything accessible

Good location but the hotel is in a very bad shaped, everyday they were doing construction, and housekeepers are way too loud and dont care about whos resting or not.

The location can’t be beat, the employees are very friendly. That being said, it is not the place for people that are older and have some mobility problems. Two flights of stairs was not good for us.

The staff was nice and friendly. The hotel is nice and the pool is quaint. Hotel is well situated near the more quiet end of the pedestrial zone which was a plus. The room I was in was near the staircase and close to the pool so I heard lots of people coming and going; you could hear other doors opening and closing. It wasn't a problem until late at night when guest would come in from restaurants and bars talking loudly and going for late night swims (the pool was supposed to close at 10pm). I told the staff and they handled it well. The reason I cut my stay short here was because the internet is the worst I've ever experienced at a hotel. I would not recommend staying here if you need a reliable and steady internet connection, especially if you work remotely.

The room that i have not what i expected!! all the way to the back and breakfast was not included

A smile from everyone on the staff every time you walk by. Quiet, quaint, clean. Nothing fancy but great for the price.

I love this Hotel, and will go back again! Great value and all the extra attention from the staff here makes this a great value! Food was made to order for us, and very good for be ing included.

Decent hotel at a reasonable price, well located, spacious room. There is a construction next door a little noisy but i guess it will finish at some point. Breakfast included. Wifi does not work in the room and it is very difficult despite the fact they have like 4 wifi networks. Courteous staff. In room aa is a mini split they turned it off every time they clean the room so it may take a while to feel yourself climate comfy when back in the room.

Great hotel. Great location.we just needed a well located place to stay and this hotel was perfecto. We walked to everything in playa and the staff was very helpful and polite. Excellent experience.

We look at the previous customers reviews, still not sure, so we booked only one night , but once we were there booked an xtra night, very good service , the girls at the kitchen very helpful, food delicious, rooms spacious and clean will be back definitely

The location was excellent - you step out and are right in the middle of a bunch of cute shops/restaurants/cafes but it's not too rowdy/noisy. Service was great - only complaints were A/C not working that well in one of our rooms (leading to musty smell and muggy air) and curtains that didn't provide enough coverage such that outsiders could get a peek into the bathroom area! Otherwise, we loved our stay here - would definitely come back.

Let me start with the worst part of my stay, because that'll give you an idea of how much a gem this place really is. The worst part was the wifi. The rooms don't have much reception at all, so to use the wifi, you're probably going to have to be on the 1st floor at the lobby or the pool area next to the lobby. And when you go there, be sure to put on bug repellants, because you're likely to get bitten. Besides that, wow this place was fantastic value for the money!!! The room rates were around $100 for the garden view when I booked it. For that you get: 1) great location walking distance to the shops, restaurants, and the beach 2) great warm breakfast including quesadilla, omelette, fresh fruits, etc... 3) perfectly cozy and very clean rooms. May I emphasize the breakfast? The breakfast is on the roof top which is partially open and partially covered in hay. A lovely place to have breakfast. Nice breeze, great warm food, and a very kind and accommodating staff. If you're going on a tour in the morning, so long as you depart after 7:30am you can ask the staff to box you the breakfast so you can take them on the road. The location is also fantastic. It's walkable to the beach as well as many of the lovely restaurants (Try El muelle, Como Como). The room is also very clean and cozy. I stayed in the garden view 28. Although we could hear some construction noise at night, it was generally pretty quiet since it was facing the inside garden as oppose to the street.

great experience in the heart of Playa del Carmen!!!!!! all was perfect. thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Room was simple, but comfortable AC was great as was shower. Big sparklets water outside on every level. Staff was wonderful. Breakfast on roof a real hit. Julia made an amazing hot dish every morning. The hotel is one block south of crazy 5th Ave. so quiet. Worth every penny!

I stayed with my husband in December. First we had a room that had no sun light (top floor corner room #16) so it was dark and humid. We asked to change the room to #18(middle room on the top floor) and it was much better. Staffs were very accurate and friendly, there is always free coffee and towels, great breakfast, clean room. But all room windows are facing 5th ave so you need ear plugs if you are sensitive to noise. There are corridors in front of the windows so you see people walking by if you are opening the windows, so no much privacy.

If you are not interested in big hotels with all the amenities. This boutique hotel is for you! specially traveling alone or couples. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Right at 5th ave. You can have beach day passes at different locations. Very happy with the hotel
