Very beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of the old town in Riga. Lobby area and the restaurants are very cozy, nothing too big or posh. Room was very big, with a kitchenette, separate seating area and a large, very comfy bed. Especially the pillows were great! Bathroom was nice size, with a tub. Everything was clean and in order. I guess that the hotel is designed for travellers who are staying longer, not just because the kitchenette, but they have also room downstairs where you can do your loundry and ironing. Only minus was, that I really had to go downstairs to iron shirts before dinner, althought I would’ve preffer to do it in the room, but that wasn’t possible. For a building this old, the walls were made of paper and you could hear everything both from the street and from the hallway to your room. This is annoying especially when you are trying to sleep... We had room with breakfast inclusive, and I really enjoyed it. Small selection of good, quality items, very good! Also prosecco was inclusive, which is very five star. Overall I would highly recommend this nice little hotel, very postive experience!
I was in Riga for business in December 2017 and was fortunate to stay at this lovely old hotel in the central part of town. I had a very spacious room on the third floor with a large double bed, lounge area and spacious bathroom. The staff were very good, friendly and attentive. Breakfast [the only meal I took in the hotel] was excellent with a large choice of food and drinks. The central location is a bonus for anyone wanting to explore "Old Riga" and is only a few minutes walk from the river. I'd recommend it not just for business but also for a weekend getaway.
I was recommended to stay at Neiburgs when in Riga, and I have not been disappointed. The rooms are spacious, immaculately clean and extremely comfortable. The location is amazing, in the heart of the Old Town - yet the rooms are very quiet, even on New Year's Eve! The best part of staying here is undoubtedly the breakfast buffet - which has everything, and its all great. We enjoyed hearty breakfasts, and skipped lunch. Reception staff were very friendly, and bent over backwards to help us - whether it be organizing a guide/driver for a day, or making a hairdressing appointment, or printing documents. Nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely stay here again - in fact, I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else!
Very nice and upscale hotel. We stayed for a week and everything was excellent: Hotel staff, restaurant downstairs, room service. Great view from our room. Will definetly stay there again next time we will visit Riga.
This hotel totally deserves its number 1 ranking. The building is exquisite, location is perfect, staff efficient and helpful and the rooms superb. We had room 505, a Studio Deluxe, and I can thoroughly recommend it. A large, bright and airy corner room, with views of the rooftops, the back of the Cathedral and down the cobbled street to the square which, at this time, contains one of Riga's 3 Christmas markets. The bed is enormous, the ensuite a good size and there is even a small kitchenette/diner. Everything the discerning tourist might require. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay here and would love to go back.
This is a great place: - Beautiful rooms. - Great and friendly service. - Great location. - Reasonably priced. Ask to reserve the sauna and steam room facility for an hour - FREE. Just ask. If you're driving, it's a little hard to find and you have to park a few blocks away. Just get there and they will help you.
The hotel is set in a gorgeous Art Nouveau building, right in the centre of the old town. Our room was spacious, quiet and comfortable (only a small drawback : the water pressure in the shower was not strong enough). Furniture and decoration are modern and sleek. Breakfast was great. The staff was extremely efficient, particularly Rinalds who helped us in many ways.
Delightful hotel right in the old town. The staff are professional, friendly and very helpful. The rooms, spacious and well laid out with great beds, rain showers and amenities. The small gym is just what’s needed and there is even a sauna that you can have to yourself with a booking. Good food at the restaurant and very attentive staff. Highly recommended.
This hotel is located right in the centre of old Riga close to shops restaurants bars and only 2 minutes walk to the river. The hotel has a modern Art Deco style and the staff are friendly. We stayed in room 402 a weekend trip for our 7 anniversary. The room was a great size with living area with mini kitchen and roll top bath. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 was attention to detail! There was a mini kitchen with cooker, microwave, fridge and kettle but no pots to cook with and cutlery to eat with yet they had cup, glasses, plates and bowls. There was a note pad in the room to use but no pen and a questionnaire to complete but that had already been done by the last guest. Overall I would stay in this hotel again and recommend it to friends and family.
Advertise as 5 stars, the service and the room didn't follow the standards. The architectural building is nice and the location is great. Restaurant was nice but not great as the rest of the hotel. Staff were nice, especially to show me the way to the parking
