we had two days stay.Overall impression was ok.Breakfast was tasty and sparkling brut during breakfast was very good.Restaurant food in the evening was satisfying and especially we liked restaurant staff.Snack's,drink's and bar service was fantastic. Our mood was spoiled in Banja. Our opinion is that Julia can't work with hotel guests. She was rude and impolite with us.All her attention was concentrated to the third person in Banja at that time.Even water was taken from our table and we were told that it is not for us.That is not acceptable for five star hotel.
We were allocated this very lovely hotel by our airline after our flight home was cancelled. The location is excellent, the staff are very helpful and the initial impression was very good. Our room was immaculately clean and very comfortable with a well stocked mini bar however I have to say that it was slightly dated and the bathrobes could have been a little softer. We didn't use the spa facilities as our time was limited but we did walk along the beautiful beach and see the frozen Baltic sea which was a little surreal. The resort itself is also lovely even out of season and needless to say we sampled a couple of lovely bars during our afternoon walk. The food was good and again the bar and restaurant service excellent however the bar prices were a little high but I guess that's to be expected in this beautiful location. It's also worth mentioning the housekeeping team who were very efficient at keeping the place looking immaculate (sandy foot prints cleaned almost instantly). I'd very much love to come back and visit in summer and stay in one of the very well appointed sea view rooms and really take in the excellent hospitality and facilities that the hotel offers.
Great location. Clean, comfortable, friendly staff. Our room had a great view of the sea. The room was well appointed. Check in and check out was fast and efficient. Car parking available on site. Breakfast had plenty of choice and breakfast staff very efficient. Downside the hot food at breakfast was at best luke warm. It was like that at both breakfasts.
Great location sea on doorstep,10 mins to train station and half hour to centre of Riga.special winter deal included spa treatment which was very well done . Friendly staff, good selection of breakfast. Worth visiting the hotel restaurant. Fabulous room on 8th floor with terrace and sea view. Really enjoyed our stay highly recommend it as winter break . Afterthought if you don’t want spa then there is a large swimming pool ,sauna and great gym but don’t forget your swimming cap !!! Rules
We were visiting the Hotel because of business. Overall the hotel is clean and food tastes good, but the prices are so damn high. Higher than for example Riga old town. In my opinion the price / quality ratio is not in place. Hotel rooms (also bathroom) are quite old-fashioned. We couldn´t visit the Spa, because it was under construction, instead we visited the Banja 2h and it cost 40€. I didnt like it. So overall quite average hotel, I would not rate it as a 5* hotel unfortunately.
Nice service and food. Our doble room was great. We had visited with children and we are happy. Wery poor was regular spa. This was soviet time swimming pool and thats it. Normal spa was so small and overbooked. In Estonia spa hotels included superb spa not soviet swimming pool. Yes , this hotel asking renevation to keep 5 stars.
We had a great room on 7th floor with the sea view. During the afternoon went to the pool and sauna in it, it was really great, a little bit crowded. Dinner outside the hotel, but breakfast was excellent. There was everything for everyone, even if you have any allergies or lactose intolerance, like me, your stomach will be FULL. The only thing that we didn't like was the attitude of some staff members (maybe because we are Latvians and in our early 20s??). Some staff members started to talk us in Russian at first, we laughed, because we kind of didn't look like a Latvian couple. :D Great experience, we will come back! :)
Very much enjoyed our weekend 'staycation' at the Baltic Beach Hotel. The room was spacious to accommodate 2 adults, 1 child & 1 baby! Very much appreciated the attention to detail and high service level. Oh - nearly forgot to mention - the view of the beach was lovely!
High quality. Room was comfortable and clean. The staff are kind and orphaned for the client's rest. We together with child like so mush SPA -The Garden and swiming pool with sea water. We really feel rested. In stores quality goods and at a great price. The Italian restaurant has a nice atmosphere and tasty food. The atmosphere is pleasant and meets a high level of comfort.
Everything really liked it. We are happy to visit Jūrmala. The hotel is very good. The staff was pleased to serve. We want to come back again to you, enjoy the wonderful relaxation and spa treatments. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
