Very happy with my visit here and a good location.

Was nice enough. But old, needs updated. A few exits from park. Not alot of restauants in the area. We had to travel to find good places to eat.

This is a regular hotel for trips to Kings Dominion. The rooms are a bit dated but for the price reasonable and comparable to the other properties in the area. They have a decent cooked to order breakfast, nothing fancy but hot and decent. You can take route 1 or route 95 to Kings Dominion depending on traffic. The day we went 95 was totally stalled and route one was pretty quick. Overall I recommend this hotel unless you expect something more than a moderately decent place to sleep.

Overall had a good stay! Complimentary breakfast was a surprise, but could have been better- should have been more. Need updating, but overall was clean and comfortable.

The room was close to King Dominion they had a great breakfast and the bed was very comfortable Will come back again

We arrived around 5 pm because of traffic and flat tire issue, upon entering registration area I felt it to be way too warm in the lobby check in was easy as I had prepaid for the reservation online, I did inquire to the desk person if they accepted discounts for 50-plus adults and was slightly rudely told I already got a discount because I went through the company I used. Upon arriving to our room, which was not poolside, we were located at the back of the hotel on 2nd floor thankfully near the stairs, the room was clean and tidy. I would have preferred the a/c to be on already as the room was stifling hot. The room was equipped with a mini fridge, mini microwave, mini coffee/tea maker, ironing board and iron as well as a hair dryer. The tub/shower were generous in size but the toilet was small and made the shower/tub and toilet area very cramped. The beds were neat and supplied with 3 pillows each, which was greatly appreciated. The mattress was soft and very comfortable leading to a good nights sleep! We experienced a small malfunction with our smoke detector (I think the battery was low, as it beeped on & off throughout the night) I informed the desk person in the morning about the problem and when we returned later in the day the problem was resolved.

The hotel is just a simple place to spend the night. They have free wifi. The rooms are a little run down but fine. The room, sheets, and bathroom were clean. The staff was friendly. The pool is simple, no lifeguard, but free and refreshing. The children running around the hotel was a little annoying but I expected it because the hotel is near Kings Dominion and has a pool. The breakfast was free, choice of scrambled eggs and bacon with toast, pancakes and bacon, (both come with homefries if asked). There was a third option which I can't think of at the moment. Also cereal, oatmeal, and grits. Overall a good free breakfast but it can get a little crowded near the end of breakfast which was from 6-9am. The hotel is about 15 minutes from Kings Dominion. I've been to several of the hotels in the area which are cheap and this one has been my choice for a few years running.... We do have to go south from KD to find a Dunkin Donuts but they built a new one 2 exits beyond KD just off 95 so we were happily surprised.

great location to Kings dominion, 5 miles away! The staff was very nice and took time with you! We had a different room than told but, it was on ground floor and, worked out great! Room was different than pic's showed on internet. Older room and motel! Needed updating, 2 double beds, My husband and I almost didn't fit in the bed, we thought it was a twin, that is about the size, it was comfortable and quite! We had a free breakfast and that was really good! Overall experience was good!

Microwave, a mini fridge, a pool, not bad for the amount paid a night. It could use a lot of updating such as newer carpet on the terraces (right outside the door) and the bathroom could use some updating as well. Rooms a little tight, but workable. We did have 3 people total. It's all what you make it. At least there were no bed begs....A plus...I would stay again....

For the price I paid the location & pool was the best part of the hotel. The room bathroom fixtures were bad. They need to invest in updating the bathroom shower/tub, and carpet. The free breakfast helped save money. They are located exactly one exit before Kings Dominion.

VERY NICE VISIT THERE IN VA. DAYS INN CARMEL CHURCH.

We were looking for a hotel near King's Dominion and this is very close. The price, and staff are great and the hot breakfast that's included is good too. The room, however, is older and not the cleanest. It smelled like smoke, even though it was a non-smoking. The carpet and bed spread were gross. The shower curtain and toilet were stained. So if you're looking for a night or 2 near the amusement park at a cheap price, this is the right hotel. But I would pay an extra 15-20 a night for a slightly nicer hotel.

Nice Hotel, large Dennys across the street. Room was clean, 30+ channels, fresh paint and bedspreads. (clean water).

Pretty average. The room was clean and comfortable, but the bathroom was fair. The fixtures were rusty and the shower pressure could have been better. The included breakfast was surprisingly good - it was a fresh cooked breakfast rather than the usual stale bagels, juice, and cereal. The staff was friendly. It was no Hampton or Comfort Inn, but it was an okay cheap place to stay.

The room was typical and small. The bathroom faucets all (3) leaked, did not disturb sleep - but made the shower stall look a bit scuzzy. The water was hard and not drinkable. Carpets were worn and showed traffic area. Nice and quiet.

The housekeeping staff and Kitchen Staff were great, the only bad feed back I had requested after arrival to have PTAG unit filter cleaned they were very dirty and I end up cleaning them my self, no one ever showed

The room was dirty, lights did not work, walls were thin and bedding was stained. I was happy to leave and would never come here with kids!

Whoever rated this a 4-star hotel needs to have their head examined. Bathroom sink faucet didn't work, vanity light didn't work, HBO didn't work. The place was clean, but really old and worn down and the carpets smelled it. I passed up $42 deals and paid $50 here 'cuz it was supposed to be 4-star, and when I got to the desk she told me the rate was only $39 (but I had already paid $50+tax to [...]). I TOTALLY felt like I had gotten HOSED by [...] on this one.

Marginally acceptable for me. If my family was with me....we would definately move. Many aspects were ok but the carpet made you wonder if you needed a fungicide when you walked on it and room maintenance was slight. The toilet reservior leaked slowly causing it to refill every five minutes or so and the bathtub spout had a leak that went from a constant drip to almost a stream. The cleaning staff was also friendly and, in my opinion, did the best they could with rooms. Staff was extremely friendly and courteous. Too early for the pool but it looked in good shape and inviting.

Fantastic location, close to Kings Dominion but far enough away that it was quiet and peaceful. Computer in the lobby (major plus), nice pool area, friendly staff, had a refrigerator and microwave (which saved ALOT of money), but one of the best things was the free, hot, cooked to order breakfast! That saved so much money, and gave you a nice filling meal to start off your day at Kings Dominion with. I will definatly stay here when we go back to KD!
