Clerk was friendly. Room was dated in need of updates. We chose not to use the poorly patched tub. Bathroom ceiling had drooping tiles. Breakfast was really good. Comfy bed

The room looked fine but I could do without the smell of cigarette smoke.

Check in time.3,got.there ar 4 had to wait ubtil 4:30 for.room bed was not ready. Bathroom floor dirty. Was not handicap accessible as reguested. As bad as hotel 6 annd super 8.

It was located nicely in a great area. Went to many fossil sites that was very close by. Overall nice place. Modest.

Everything was great. King size bed wasn't very comfortable sheets didn't fit properly. Everything else was great. Couldn't ask for better

Except having to pay 10.00 per night for a pet at a pet friendly motel, this motel worked great for us.

Front desk was very helpful, Although it was a good experience staying there, but i believe someone from housekeeping tried to seekin my bag. I usually lock the bag, but on the last day when i returned it was showing 000 which is highly unusal. My vest kept on the top of the bag was missing :(. (wonder who would want to wear a used vest. I did not complained as i had to rush to the site. But i would not like to stay there again considering the incident...

I needed a motel that would take dogs, but they charged an extra fee, and the room was scarily dirty.

I spent one night at the Day's Inn in Richmond, Indiana, a facility I've stayed in previously during my weekends on campus for grad school. The hotel is a decent, affordable accomodation and obvious effort has been made to clean the hotel up. The positives to the Days Inn are that it is one of the most cost-effective motel/hotels in Richmond and is reasonably clean with free cable and a light free breakfast. The staff has been friendly during each stay. I'm a traveler in a wheelchair, and the Days Inn offers essentially two rooms that could be considered wheelchair accessible, though they will tell you they have a third (they are wrong. This third room is NOT wheelchair accessible). Unfortunately, even if you reserve an accessible room successfully, there's no guarantee it will be available upon arrival. Fortunately, I've learned to check on this before my arrival but it remains a source of frustration to arrive with the acknowledged need and see non-handicapped customers placed in these rooms. If you stay here, I strongly advise you request a room at the front of the facility. They are very close to a railroad track and the train goes by at all hours of the night. Those in the back of the hotel will experience this throughout the night. The rooms are fairly quiet within them. I had a loud next door neighbor during my recent stay, but the walls were solid and it was hardly bothersome at all. This is much better than is usually true for lower-end accomodations. The free breakfast is essentially cereal, bagels and 1-2 different types of rolls. The bagels/rolls are "packaged." By no means a choice for the traveler who needs the comforts of home, the Days Inn is an affordable, reasonably comfortable option for the business or student traveler on a budget.

Visited with friends from out of town!I booked this hotel because of the lower rates!!

Major rail line next to hotel, thought a tornado was coming at 1 am...owner should have warned us as it caused alot of confusion at first....tracks were busy all night...not much sleep. Light didn't work in room.

I had 2 rooms & one was very dirty. My door jam was broken as if someone kicked it in. In addition, my non-smoking room smelled like smoke. I knew the train track was there, but perhaps it s/b noted on the description.

Service was fast and friendly. The room was a bit well used. My wife didn't want to use the bath tub because it looked dirty. They didn't use fitted sheets on the beds. Overall the price was affordable but felt that for a little more we could have obtained better accomodations.
