This hotel was still under renovations The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, although on Saturday cleaning service didn't arrive until we were preparing for a wedding around 4p. It will get there but until then, a discount should be considered.

We chose this hotel spur of the moment just driving home from vacation and too tired to drive any longer. We were very pleasantly surprised at how clean and comfortable it was. Breakfast was good also as we had a family of 5 to feed.

Hotel and staff were accomodating ...no complaints. Rooms clean but not as nice as other Country Inns, chairs looked worn....ho hum room. Location leaves something to be desired. Almost like industrial area, restaurants with real food not very close. If just looking for clean place to rest your head and continue driving and you don't care about surroundings this is fine....like I said it is clean.

We needed a convenient overnight stay on our way south. This hotels has an excellent location, with fuel and food directly out the front door. The hotel common area and exterior look clean and fresh, but our room wasn't at all. Bathroom countertop was smudges with soap film, sink had hair in it, bathtub dripped all night. The bed smelled of heavy duty air freshener, and had the appearance of having been already slept in. On the plus side, the refrigerator and complementary breakfast were helpful in during our 12-hour stay.

be wary business traveler...internet is something out of the 80's

The best thing about this place was the friendly and attentive staff. This hotel is located in an industrial area along HwY 95 south of Richmond VA. It's OK if you are passing through. Advise would be to take all valuables into your room. My car was broken into and items stolen from my trunk. Can't blame the staff for this and they said it was an unusual occurance it was a fair value for the cost.

I only stayed at this hotel for one night, but it was definitely nice for the amount of money spent on it. The staff was great and they made sure I had everything I needed. They were all very nice and helpful. The room was spacious and clean, which is something you don't see much anymore. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast food was good too. If you're looking for a place in Richmond that feels like home but isn't too expensive, this is a great choice. The location of it isn't too bad either. It's right beside a gas station and there are plenty of restaurants (mainly fast food) close by.

Quick stop for the night, on the way home from PA. It was late, we were exhausted & we booked last minute. For the price, I would've greatly expected a better location (somewhat sketchy) and I would've expected a nicer hotel. Staff & rooms were ultimately fine (minus the décor), just definitely not what I expected.

This hotel is comfortable, clean, quiet and close to food and fuel and I95. Couldn't ask for better.

Okay so I walk in the room and it smells bad. Seems clean though. Staff was never around. Breakfast was totally gross. The food was so old and just needed to be in the trash can. Coffee was alright though. Only fast food around hotel. But was nice to have a gas station on the corner.

This hotel was in secluded but convenient area right off the highway. Rooms were clean staff was very nice and the price was affordable considering I booked it last minute. Overall I would stay there again as a stop in my roadtrip like I did this time.

This hotel is in desperate need of repair and renovation. Staff not friendly and somewhat confrontational. She did change the room from smoking to non-smoking. Room was dirty, smelled bad, and air conditioner so loud I could hardly sleep. Bathroom was old, could have been cleaner with a little bleach. Very disappointed.

Location was perfect and safe. Friendly staff. Carpet seemed a bit grimy. Strong cigarette smell when you walk into room and it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. Bad lighting in bathroom. AC did not work very well either.

Was put in a smoking room that CLEARLY had just had a smoker in it. Slept with the windows open, still felt sick from it. The front desk staff was nice...but would not recommend staying here again.

The hotel was fairly clean and priced. The only issue we really had was with the staff being foreign and speaking little no english and being socially awkward with us. Their customer service skills were off quite a bit.

Everything about the room was great! Did not expect a refrigerator or microwave which was a plus. The shower has great with lots of hot water. The staff was very friendly. The downside was the breakfast. The coffee was cold. The waffle make had broken that morning. The juice machine apparently was not working as it tasted like you were drinking concentrate. After that, I lost may appetite and did not eat. Overall, I would go back as it was a great value!

this hotel was clean and friendly.. the bed was really comfortable, and the pillows wonderful.. I arrived there after a long drive, and the check in was fast and simple. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was very good, and it was overall an enjoyable stay..

The hotel was wonderful, we got there and the staff was extremely courteous. However the room we thought we had booked did not turn out to be so. We booked a room that was listed to be a suite that had a jacuzzi as well as other amenities, but the room we got did not have any of that. We had to upgrade to a suite and pay the difference because of the misinformation given to us not by the hotel but by other sources. The suite was spectacular and the staff was more then willing to help us correct the problem and give us the facilities that we desired. The staff there is clearly top notch.

Room furnishings were outdated and motel seemed to be in need of an update. Room was fairly clean but carpet was old, not particularly clean, and was pulled up in areas (I.e, not smooth and flat). Night clerk was not very friendly. Room was not dark enough because it faced parking lot and curtains could not shut out light from top of windows. Not a bad place but would not choose it again.

Relaxing Hotel, Nice Staff and Good Breakfast. It was in a safe place. I would go back there again.
