clean, close to AMON PARK , BREAKFAST TOO EXPENSIVE they said that they don't had hot chocolate for breakfast that it is only for dinner omg
The hotel is well kept and right on the water. Lovely spot. However, I was awoken at 4:00 am because come to find out the laundry room was above our heads. It sounded like someone was drilling. I called the front desk but the noise continued throughout the night. In addition, we changed rooms, but no one cleaned it,
Nice hotel! From the outside I was worried but when we walked in I was surprised to see it was clean and bright.
Proerty was in a grrat locationnoff the water. Nice clean reasruaunt.
Remodel looks great - place feels very updated. Breakfast was the biggest painpoint. No communication between front desk and restaurant for who paid for breakfast with their stay. Service was painfully slow. Waitress kept trying to make conversation but was awkward and she wasn't picking up that we didn't want to talk. Not many options, especially for kids. Would have liked to seen some basics like a bagel, french toast or biscuits and gravy. Tea options aren't that great either. Earl Gray can't be your only black tea option.
The heat was set to 65F and could not be adjusted. The desk said that the entire property was set to 65F. This made for a cool night and shower in the morning. After the first night I checked with the front desk and they moved me to another room and the heat worked. The first front desk clerk had incorrect information. I had breakfast at the restaurant and it was good the second morning.
This was a fun hotel, it's designed in a U shape for the most part which makes the rooms a little wonky as well. It makes for a fun design. The room was clean, no bathroom fan which is awkward, and the patio with the room was great but not clean. (Hello spiders and bird poo!) We did not interact with the staff other than check in/out but they were friendly. The parking was easy and plentiful. The pool is nice but was not clean, my daughter spent 20 minutes walking around the pool with the net to try and get all the many bugs out, but not sure you can expect better when you're right next to the river with all the bugs.
Great place to stay!
