I was so well looked after, arrived late and met me at the taxi and walked me to their beautiful hotel. Everything was so well looked after and a real care taken of my family, Thank you so much, I will be back soon

We had a wonderful stay recently at the spirit of the knights. The breakfast was delicious and the children loved the room and the various interesting bits of the building. It’s probably most comfortable for well behaved children (we did quite a lot of sshhhing) - but if yours aren’t too crazy then it’s a great place for kids. The location is great too - charming bit of Rhodes and walking distance from everything. The staff are absolutely lovely and can’t do enough for you! The room was quirky and beautiful (with really comfortable beds) and the courtyard was gorgeous. Highly recommend!

Small boutique hotel, quite charming, especially the small pool area. We stayed for four nights and it was totally fine, for more nights we may have wanted a bigger hotel/more space. The hotel does have a concierge who was very helpful with booking boats, restaurants and more, as we didnt know Rhodes very well at all. Located in a quiet residential area, but a few cobble stone streets away from all the main noise. Happy overall for four nights.

This lovely Boutique Hotel in the Old Town is a classic example of what can be accomplished by adding innovation and investment to a medieval creation. The Crusaders built the property, the Ottomans added their own touches, and the 21st-century architects have worked with archaeologists to preserve the essence of the original structure — all wrapped within the city walls, and blessed with a shady courtyard. A true charming classic place to sleep in Crusader History! LOCATION: Located in the heart of old town and INSIDE the city walls, Cannot beat this setting. But sadly if you come here in off season like we did you wont have ANY choice for dining/Drinking and have to walk a bit to the town OUTSIDE the walls, as the old city is DEAD like a graveyard in the night! DINE + DRINK: They have a cozy bar and breakfast that is more like a Bread and breakfast Inn than a boutique hotel breakfast, but comes with a lot of personal touch and warmth! ROOM: We stayed in one of the named Suites, so this review is based on that; VIEW: sweet view of the Walls from teh small window in the living room; SIZE: Very spacious Suite kind of room with a seperate living area and a bedroom; AIR-CON: NO Air conditioning system we could depend on and had to leave the windows open all night! BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part to put me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand in shower; TOILETRIES: Excellent SPA quality cosmetics from APIVITA brand! FACILITIES: No Gym or pool - pure Greek Chillout mode! SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all my needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Medium speed Wi-Fi that works well all over the property. Big Plasma TV screen dishing out dozens of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies and a wide variety of entertainment in multiple languages. But ENGLISH language channels were a bit limited

I've stayed at the Spirit of the Knights hotel twice. It is a fabulous, small, authentic hotel inside the walls of the Old Town , perfectly positioned for a couple of days of sightseeing, wandering the lovey old cobblestone lanes and enjoying a beautiful evening meal out. It is a small place, just a few rooms, but with heaps of charm. Very friendly owners, lovely little courtyard and plunge pol and super comfy rooms. You feel like you are part of the old town when you stay here and the owners can't do enough to make your visit a success. After our first visit, I liked it so much I arranged to rent the entire hotel for a two night stay, when I had invited 18 of our friends and family to Rhodes before setting off on a week long gulet holiday. This was complex to say the least with different families flying in from different countries, at different times, but Duncan and the team took everything in their stride, arranged taxis to meet everyone and everything worked perfectly, and then carried our bags the last 200m through the old lanes to the hotel. They arranged the bedrooms to work for us all (with some of the little ones sleeping on mattresses on the floor), and ensured a steady supply of drinks and nibbles while we enjoyed the courtyard setting. They arranged dinner and transport the next morning to the ferry. On the return leg, some of our party had an afternoon layover in Rhodes, and they even arranged for them to come and enjoy the hotel courtyard and rest out of the sun for the few hours while they waited for their flight. In short, it is a beautiful little hotel with charming owners who can't do enough to make your stay into a memory. Thank you Duncan. They also arranged a private tour guide for us— Michael Triantafillou ( who is incredibly knowledgeable and a very nice guide indeed.

For my first trip to Greece, I knew I wanted to visit Rhodes, and in particular I wanted to immerse myself in Rhodes Old Town. Viewing their website the Spirit of the Knights Boutique Hotel looked like the perfect spot to stay and it didn't disappoint. In the weeks leading up to my visit over the holiday season, I was impressed by the Team's foresight and attention to detail offering to assist with airport transfer and local restaurant bookings for New Year's Eve. Throughout my stay they were invaluable in offering local guidance, particularly the best routes to get around within the maze like cobble streets of Old Town. My room was spacious, super comfortable, clean and quiet. Breakfast is included with a nice wide offering of selections. Location is near enough to the centre of town for easy access to local sights. Overall I had such a fantastic stay, will definitely go back there again my next time on Rhodes.

From the moment we booked the exceptional level of service started. Our break was over the Christmas holiday and we were advised which restaurants were open on Christmas Day and having chosen one for each of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day they were duly booked for us. A taxi was arranged to pick us up at the port and take us close to the hotel where we were met and our cases taken from us and to our room. We had a welcome drink and when our room was ready we went to it. Room is to poor a description of the small suite. The manager, Duncan, was both accommodating and extremely amusing. The reception/ bar area was festive and no more expensive than other bars in the old Town. Nino, who looked after the hotel during the daytime was also incredibly helpful and the breakfast choices were all excellent. We are looking forward to our next visit

Spirit of the Knights Boutique Hotel was a top 5 Hotel experience in my lifetime. We were traveling with teenagers but met single and couples who felt the same. Among highlights are Duncan and Ninos excelling hospitality, the Family’s care in construction, (featuring detailed history and art), breakfast, and relaxing in a Zen of the Knights like retreat! (I understand it took them took 4 years to complete). Beside all that, it’s conveniently located in Old Town...don’t miss it! While rightfully cautious about hotel recommendations in Greece in general, you can fully trust these guys, especially with restaurants - just ask! They arranged a great inexpensive rental car we took around the island - met us at the Hotel and allowed us to drop it off at the airport. Spirit’s service exceeded all elsewhere we saw in the Greek Islands including the top hotels we stayed at on Santagma, Athens and Sant. I remind myself that as U.S. Americans - please be courteous ambassadors to us all! Efharisto! Bon voyage - . David

Having visited Rhodes back in 2015 we decided after checking TripAdvisor reviews that we would give the Spirit of the Knights a try this time. What a great decision we made -- From the moment Nino met us and trolleyed our baggage through the cobbled streets to the hotel,we experienced warm friendly hospitality from all the staff on site. A wonderful oasis of a garden with shaded areas and a large Jacuzzi which we made good use of over our 12 night stay.Breakfast was superb with a wide range of yoghurts, fruits, freshly made breads and cooked breakfasts prepared to order - Big thanks to Lena,Chris and Nino for there service and friendly banter. We ate out every night in some very special restaurants mostly recommended by Duncan -- The Marco Polo and Romios being our 2 favourites. We stayed in the Rodos suite which was very spacious with a huge and very comfortable super king size bed and some interesting artefacts dotted around the room.Would not hesitate to stay here again the next time we return to Rhodes -- Amazing hotel and staff -- Thanks for making our holiday very special.

Why stay outside the Old Town of Rhodes when you can stay in this wonderful boutique hotel that is just steps away from everything you want to see? My partner and I stayed for three nights last week in this welcoming hotel with wonderful amenities. We came to Greece for two weeks and this was the first hotel we stayed at during our trip. It was the perfect place to start our vacation. We stayed in the first room to your left as you enter the hotel. Our room was very clean, had a huge bathroom (especially the shower area), an air conditioning unit we could control and excellent and easy to access Wi-Fi. Breakfast each morning was on the patio towards to back of the hotel. We ordered off a menu, which was a nice surprise. The menu had plenty of different breakfast options that would make anyone content. Chris, our waiter, was friendly and very attentive. Staff at the hotel were extremely welcoming and accommodating. Duncan, who met us outside the Old a Town and brought our heavy bags to the hotel, was extremely funny and made us laugh and enjoy our visit. Nino, the day manager, was also very helpful whenever we needed anything. I would highly recommend this boutique hotel and plan on returning to when we come back to Rhodes.
