Have just returned from a fabulous week at this hotel. We got a great deal to stay here all inclusive for the week and the hotel did not disappoint.Location - Kiotari is quiet but has a lovely beach with beach bar, watersports, pizza bar and there is a large supermarket for anything you may need whilst on your hols. We took the bus to Lindos and climbed the acropolis which I would highly recommend doing if you are able. All in all, I was highly impressed by this hotel. It was fantastic value for money and we had a fabulous week here. Firstly, the staff are fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for them to sort out and whenever we needed anything their response was quick and professional. The hotel is huge and it was very busy on the week that we stayed but the staff always made us feel special despite the large amount of people staying in the hotel. Food - the food choices were varied and the food was of a very good quality. I was really impressed with the food and this was certainly a highlight of our stay. The hotel staff were very good with dietary restrictions also and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Accommodation - we stayed in a newly renovated room and it was wonderful! We had a sea view and the bathroom was marble. We also had a flat screen tv. The room had a luxury feel to it and I would definitely recommend staying in one of these rooms if you can.
Tops : The staff is very very nice. Especially Anna-Maria and Zeta at the rock bar, and Eric (delicious cocktails) and Claudia (always serving, always beautiful smile) at the main bar. Very nice moments thanks to them!! Rooms : enough space and really clean. Hotel close to the beach. Flops: Pools not heated so April is a bit early in the season! Not possible (or very hard) to get a table for more than 6. Middle level for animations even if people are nice. Main restaurant sometimes very busy.
Stayed on 16 April as part of a group of 10 guests for one night. Two infants in our party with prams. We were greeted by a very rude receptionist who told us the rooms were not ready so we went for lunch in the buffet restaurant! Food on offer was of a good quality and plenty of choice. We tried to check in again (after recommended check-in time) to be told only one room was ready. The receptionist explained this is because check-out for other guests is at 12:00 and they don't have enough time to clean the rooms!! In this case, they should change either the check-out or check-in time to allow enough time! Two rooms were along same corridor - 309 and 325. The lift goes only to the second floor and there were so many stairs that it was very difficult with luggage and pram! The third room 646, right at top of complex and again, on first floor which was difficult with pram! Room 646 was newly renovated and far superior quality to the other rooms - we all paid the same :( Entertainment was not family friendly! The participants on stage were encouraged to burst balloons by getting into a variety of sexual positions. Really not appropriate family entertainment!!!! We ate at the souvlaki restaurant for lunch before leaving and both my children ate pork souvlaki. Nobody else in the party ate this and later that evening my children became very sick with vomiting and diarrhoea. I emailed the hotel who dismissed my complaint citing no other illness at this time despite another review here which also mentioned a child vomiting during the same week. Clearly something is wrong here!
We were placed at the Mitsis Rhodes Village Beach Hotel in Kiotari because Mitsis Maris Rhodes spa resort, its sister hotel, wasn't open in time for our first day. We were told we were transferred to the Mitsis village beach hotel over the road, but not that it was only for one night. Maybe if we hadn't complained then we would have been left to stay there for our whole week in which case we would have gone home early. The only room available was a shocker, very worn and rotten frames to the entrance doors. The electric sockets were hanging out of the wall and the fridge wiring was taped together! The whole room was shocking and a danger to guests. The Furniture wouldn't fetch five pounds on a car boot sale! Outside our room, near the kitchen, it was dirty and air con units very noisy, again with open wiring. My son felt sick on check out to transfer over the road to the Mitsis Maris and was violently sick for 14 hours. We took our frustrations out on the Maris hotel reception staff and are sorry for this because their hotel turned out to be a lovely hotel and they were not to blame in any way for the poor room allocated at the Mitsis village hotel. If you do book the Mitsis Village Beach Hotel, then make sure it is a renovated room or avoid it like the plague!! We have travelled extensively abroad for over 25 years and never posted on trip advisor before, but felt it necessary to share our views of the horrendous room which we were given.
Had a fantastic holiday here. Went to celebrate a 21st birthday. The staff were great that made it such a pleasure to be there. There was plenty to do and see even though it was not in one of the towns. The transfer bus to and from the airport was good to. There was a good choice of places to eat both at the hotel and outside and choice of food was good. They catered for all tastes. The beach was just across the road. There were 3 out door pools and one indoor, pool bars, a main bar, games room, ice-cream/crepe parlour and nightly entertainment. It is all inclusive fantastic value for money.
Stayed here for 1 week in September. Rooms basic but clean mini bar restocked daily also toiletries, staff very friendly service very good in restaurants and bars also Staff on the beach bar and pizza place very efficient, we all enjoyed our stay
We stayed here in Aug 2016 a family of 4 for 2 weeks! We arrived at 1am in the morning to a very warm welcome from the receptionist staff and to some drinking water and some food in the restaurants which they opened just for our arrival. We was showed to our room not long after. It was basic and dated but very clean an ideal for us to sleep in. The food was fantastic! 5* the Italian and burger bar was our favourite. A massive shout out to Demitris! This guy was amazing and made our holiday that little more special! Jai and Taylor says hi! All staff was friendly and helpful. Pools were beautiful and clean and you could all get a sun lounger! We had a great stay! An will come back one day. This year we are trying Mitsis Falariki Beach and hope to have the same great experience as we did here. Thank you for a great holiday!
Great place, close to the beach but a bit too many steps. No probs for young people but not very suitable for elderly. The food is nice but could be a bit boring in the main restaurant, italian restaurant is fantastic! Asian a bit of disappointment although the desert was nice. Very friendly and helpful staff. Bow and ruffle shooting on the beach twice a day is a great idea, worth trying.
This hotel is a great holiday destination for all ages. The food is varied in the main buffet restaurant, but the real winner was the different restaurants - Italian, Mexican, Greek, Souvlaki, Burger Bar as well as Asian. All are very good quality and we had no problem reserving a table. The pools were also lovely, however, we did prefer the upstairs pools as they seemed quieter. The entertainment team were full of energy, and were not pushy if you didn't want to join in! The pizza oven on the beach was a lovely addition - and the toasties at the beach bar at delicious!! All in all, a great hotel, and we hope to return!
This was the first time I'd been abroad on my own and this hotel was the perfect place for me. Located in perfect distance from local shops and the beach the hotel offered everything I needed. Both pools were always clean - but I recommend the pool on the upper level as the view over the sea is perfection. The staff were brilliant and were always there to greet you and help you with whatever you needed. The cleaning staff were very respectful and could do enough for you. Perhaps the only downside was the distance from Rodos but the bus was easy to catch, cheap and stops just outside the hotel. Perhaps the on site shop could have been cheaper but was great for quick purchases.
