Firstly I must say that when I placed my order I didn´t expect much more than an ok All inclusive experience. Im glad to say that I was completely wrong! This place is something special that you don´t get often. The staff is very welcoming and overall amazing, they really careabout their job and do their best so you can enjoy your vacation ( special kudos to the restaurant staff, just remarkable!). The food is excellent, the hotel is clean and the area around is generally nice. I promised to write this earlier, I visited you early summer 2017 and I promised a review. Better late than never! I will come back soon:) keep up the amazing work you do every day. Jonas
I stayed at this hotel for two nights and the bill came to $326.13. All well and good, however in reviewing my charges on my card, I found that I was double charged. I have requested a refund and have yet to have a reply or have not gotten the requested refund. Another friend stayed here at the same time and discovered that the hotel had double charged as well. Beware, there are other places to stay where you are charged only once.
It is definitely one of our favourite places on Rhodes. We stayed in this hotel first time in 2014 and then specially came back to stay in this hotel (and to visit Rhodes of course) in 2016. Hotel has very good location - 5 min walk to the beach and 15 min walk to the old town. Very friendly personal, tasty and various food in the restaurant. May be one disatvantage - pool is a little bit small for such number of guests - not enough places. But, on the other hand, there are two huge seas near, so pool size is not so important :) We would definitely recomment this hotel to the friends!
Exceptionally busy and noisy hotel. We arrived late and given a nice room on the 6 floor until we opened the balcony to find another balcony in front of it. Unable to move until the morning as no manager to allow it. The lifts are very bumpy and noisy and as we were the room next to the lift ournsleep was affected after about 6am. The food was quite good but because the restaurant is smallish and the buffet serving areas small for so many people it felt like a canteen. Some staff seemed a bit fed up as they constantly cleared tables but others very nice. One thing really put me off my food was the dirty floor in the restaurant with the same food stains each days so not washed in the three days we were there - so this aspect was not even one star! The pool area is small and it was difficult to get a sunbed in the sun as they have permanent sunshades. There is the beach close by but it is shingle and didn't look good for swimming. Reception lady Rania was very helpful and she works until about 3 pm without a break ! This is an AI hotel and the beer and wine was OK but spirits very poor.....but at €50 for 2 for AI very cheap....but not for us again.
Stayed only 2 nights (unfortunately) with wife and 1.5 y.o. son. The hotel is located in walking distance from the city centre and the beach. The rooms are spacious and clean. Stuff is extremely kind and helpful, all of them, with special mention for Rania in the reception, Stella (guest reception manager or sth) and the guy who made pizza. Food was very good, way above the average taverna quality, perfect pizza, very good pasta and variety. I would recommend it both for families and singles and probably will visit again next year.
Fairly modern hotel about 20 mins walk from the Old Town and harbour, less than 10 mins from beaches. Spacious rooms, ours faced the street, would have preferred to be at the rear overlooking pool, as the open bar at the front could sometimes be very noisy at nights the We were on an "all-inclusive"deal, food was generally good, some items were available every day, but main meals changed every day, and the standard of the food was good - hot food was actually hot, and lots of choice too. Always salads, fruit, juices, breads etc. All staff were very helpful, and the table staff were particularly good. On several evenings there was entertainment - greek dancing, cabaret, a singer, etc. Not the very best hotel, perhaps, but excellent value, and a really good location for Rhodes, accessible to everything in the town, but situated in a side street.
The Staff in the hotel from the lovely Emily and Rania on reception to the great waiters especially Bobby also the cleaners were splendid also very friendly barstaff . But the entertainment was mediocre and there was no where to sit so after the evening meal it was very hard to get a place to sit. some evenings we sat outside on the wall with our drinks. When we arrived we were given a room on the ground floor next to the bar we complained and Emily on reception sorted this out we moved to the first floor and the next morning to the sixth floor.we met people who had been to other Mitsis hotels and they said this was poor compaired to the others. Alsomostmealswere not very hot and one night the chef was handling raw chicken with tongs and used the same tongs to put a piece of cooked chicken on my plate needless to say I did not eat this overall I would not visit the hotel again. The Staff were the best thing about the Hotel
Clear hotel closed to Elli beach near to the centrum of the town of Rhodes. Best and nasty cuisine. Quality of food is excellent. Most of the plates are classical Greek and also the menu is mainly local.
Not the best. Arrived about 11 p.m. no welcome drink no complimentary sandwich. Previously asked for and booked a room below the 6th floor. Give a room on the seventh floor. Got in the lift could not see a button for 7th floor when we came out and asked told that lift only goes to 6th floor. I cant climb stairs - asked for another room told not one available until tomorrow if I want to sleep I will have to climb the stairs. We are both aged 66 and not particularly fit so for my husband to drag two heavy suitcases up two flights of stairs not ideal. Had to ask twice for help and then the guy waited for a tip. He did not get one. We were moved the next day but I hate not being able to unpack. The hotel is very small, not enough seats to watch the entertainment not enough space in the dining room to provide anything other than very basic food options. The bread and the continental breakfast were dry and appeared to be days old everyday. I lived on pizza for a week and then often went out to eat. There were people in wheelchairs at the hotel it was difficult to get these in and out of the lift as the lifts are tiny and the entrance ramps are very steep and very slippy when wet. The pool area is very small , there is no garden area to speak off apart from a few planters. Some of the staff were lovely others quite rude and no help at all. We have been to many Mitsis Hotels and were very disappointed with this one. We will not be returning. Pay the extra and stay at the Grand.
We arrived late and noticed the busy street facing the hotel; but that only enhanced the stay amd you couldnt hear the street at all. The rooms were clean and the cleaners were freindly and accommodating. The food was plentiful and fresh. The cooks took great pride in their food.lots of healthy options n not so healthy. The waiters were completly attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The receptionist remembered my number every day when i forgot!! They were completly accomadating; friendly seemed to enjoy their jobs. The bar staff were fab; attentive again nothing was too much trouble. The older gentleman serving was so efficient and freindly. The hotel was a complete suprise as weve stayed in rhodes previously and had such a rubbish hotel; so this hotel restored my faith in rhodes. The entertainment was good n had a cutrual feel to this. Tge germans loved the entertainment as i think it was traditional songs for them. Rhodes town was a 20 minute walk n the beach 5 minuyes away. Whst a delightful holiday
