We booked through TUI travel and were very pleased with our stay. The accommodations were nice, centrally located, the food was outstanding and everything was clean. But the people were what made this place shine! From the maid service, to room service, to the front desk, to the bar tender, everyone treated us like family! A big shout out to Gianni and Stella and their team, we loved our stay and have left a piece of our heart in Greece! It was the best birthday yet! They even sang to Kevin my birthday and gave us cards and wine in our rooms on our birthdays.
sorry my post is late spent 4weeks 23/8/2016 to 20/92016 my 3rd time at this hotel just nothing to much for the the staff food, room.every thing 100%.looked after use so well thank you every one, booked the same 4 weeks for 2017 see you then.xxxxxxx
This hotel was recommended by a former member of staff. The hotel is spotless and comfortable. Food is excellent Rooms are very spacious Balcony vary in size All in all its a good spot. Highly recommend it
Pros: The food was nice (and they served traditional greek dishes too), dining area was nice, Nice room with view to the street. Great location! Bar had many choices in drinks and their soda tasted good (they can tast poor at many all incl. hotels). Cons: the bathroom was soaked with water after a shower and was very hot! The aircon did not reach into the bathroom. The drinks were to strong (to some this might be a good thing, but if you want to enjoy it, then it's not that good). The pool area is very small and covered in shadow most of the time. And it lacks sunbeds - almost impossible to get one. Eventhough the food was good you had to wait a lot to get it. If you want to get pizza you have to stand in a long line and they only make one pizza at the time, then 3 people can get some slices and then the rest of the line have to want 5 to 10 minutes until the next one is finished - this was really annoying and did ruin the nice meal you could have together, but instead you stand in lines. The location is really the biggest bonus. For the right price, we might consider staying here again.
first & foremost I must say we really enjoyed our stay, the food was our only complaint most of it was unidentifiable with no cards to say what it was other than that the staff were wonderful from reception to the waiters and the housekeeping ladies who couldn't do enough for us, special mention for Christina & Irina ( hope that's correct way of spelling it) we also had some very noisy fellow guests who liked to bang doors and shout into the wee small hours, would we stay again? definitely but we would hope for some menu cards. ]
Booked this break after being ill. We booked it on a no change the dates deal. The day before we set off we found out there was an airstrike so no way could we get there. We emailed the hotel and they very kindly said they would honour new dates if/when we knew them We got flights rebooked and arrived one week later then planned. The reception staff were exceptionally good on arrival and during our stay, as were all hotel staff. Rooms were kept spotless and tidy, bedding, towels changed often. Dining room staff polite and friendly, the food was above the standard of normal all inclusives, the pizza chef was brilliant and the only downside he couldn't make them fast enough. Entertainment was a laugh and enjoyed by us. The pool area is small but like the touch of staff bringing afternoon tea and cakes out every day. I had trouble getting my phone to upload my flight details and reception staff very kindly printed the tickets out, always happy to go that extra mile. thank you.
Having stayed at several Mitsis hotels, and having read reports on T A, we were looking forward to our holiday but were sadly disappointed. The hotel is smaller than others and lacked their facilities. The room was large and well fitted, the bathroom had a very powerful shower. For some reason the beds were only 3 inches from the floor. the mattress was hard( this was later rectified). The antiquated T V had 4 channels, the only one in English was BBC World News. The view from our small balcony was dominated by a derelict hotel. The view from the front was a row of shops selling the usual tourist tat .The info given us on arrival says the hotel is in a secluded setting, it is in fact at the junction of two busy roads! The pool is small, and has as many loungers as the space allows, but this is not enough. The same is true for the reception areas, it was quite common to see people wandering around vainly looking for somewhere to sit. It is the food that really lets the hotel down. The servery is too small for the number of guests, leading to unacceptable queuing times. The quality of the food was quite good but completely spoiled y the unattractive way it was displayed. Bains Marie contained various pies and pastry dishes with no indication what they were. Potatoes were often swimming in grease as was the freshly cooked meat. The info sheet also promised"Moments of spontaneous fun and adventure"This consisted of two card tables, a non functioning T V, and two chargeable internet ports. The only thing coming up to Mitsis standards was the service. All staff were cheerful pleasant and helpful at all times, especially the girls on reception who sorted out our bed problems, and patiently helped with my WIFI problems, and Louva at the bar for providing a much needed supply of double espressos. Sorry Mitstsis But the Petit Palais is not up to standard
Great little hotel. Lovely spacious clean bedrooms. Quick check-in. Efficient staff. Nice lounge areas, small bar. Local drinks. Lovely pool area. Nice drinks and snack treats brought to your sunbed. Plenty of us beds, but non collapsible umbrellas. Consequentially the sun is very shaded. Food ok, very repetitive though. Great breakfast buffet. Staff can be very surly, maybe a smile for the guests more. Lacking in manners reaching in front of guests and walking in front of guests to without a excuse me thankyou or please. It was very late in the season but ...... The chef who cooked at breakfast was great, the best pancakes and omelettes.... Lovely lady, always had a little chat with her. A great representative to the restaurant. VERY CENTRAL LOCATION. Walking is easy to both the old and new town. Lots of places to eat out. Try the old town right at the top as the views are amazing in the evening. I had a reason to speak to the reception staff. An elderly gentleman slipped on the extremely slippery tiles around the pool. He fell into the pool fully clothed . My husband and the gentleman grandaughter pulled him out. He was very shocked and shaky. My friend and I separately informed the reception asking them to have a word to the staff to mop up excess water, nobody came. Either to address the water, or to check the gentleman was ok. AT ALL. Very poor attention and health and safety. I'm glad that we were able to help him and his family. This definitely needs attention from the manager.
Excellent location, very good service, very good food. Internet and safe box are not free in rooms. only in the lobby. The first night the mattress was hard but they add one better. Drinks are free all day.The ladies in the reception are very kind and effective. Very good service in dinning room. Small pool.
it was an amazing hotel the staff on reception took minutes to book us in to the hotel. and waiters showed us straight to a table they were very professional clearing away any finished pates and resetting the tables for others, infact even the cleaners made our stay warming and welcoming room was cleaned every day , the food was good plenty for every one and wide choice entertainment every evening the local beer was nice to, the bar staff cant fault them or any of the staff they were magnificent on our last night we had an earth quake that rocked the hotel ,what more could you ask for to finish a brilliant holiday
