Bedroom smells a bit shower very small not suitable for old people no lifts bar staff a bit of a worry if they run out of beers at the bar it's a bit of a bad one but the food is excellent quality very good but would not be going back to this hotel 🏩
Firstly I’d like to start by saying how unfair the 2 star rating this hotel has. This hotel is clean, spacious, great facilities and best of all the people who work here treat you like family. I loved this place so much that I will be visiting again. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a family friendly hotel.
I went to this hotel for the 1st time. I used to stay with Yiannis & Maria at their previous hotel in Afandou & knew the amazing service they provide. They hotel was taken over by a family member this year & a lot of work has gone in to it with both the rooms & the outside painted & updated. It's still a 2 or 3 star so don't expect Jacuzzis or all inclusive but it's all the better for that. The rooms are very large for a hotel in Greece with most of the things you need. There's a kitchenette with a 2 hotplate stove, fridge, cups, plates, kettle & cutlery. The rooms also have air con, wi-fi, & safes in the room (paid for as extras). The pool is average size with sunbeds & a large garden area where the kids can play football etc. The team that run the pool bar cannot do enough for you, even cooking food if you arrive late in the evening. Guests are a mixture of mostly English & other Europeans. Some people choose to go to a hotel & then spend all day out visiting the island, others, like to meet up in the bar after a meal & get to know each other - this place allows both types of guests to have a happy holiday. Smoking is allowed on balconies, round the pool & at the bar. No smoking indoors. It is close to the airport, so quick to get there, but it does mean that aircraft fly at low levels most of the day & night & it is on a busy main road but other than that no issues.
Stayed with my partner and daughter. Arrived at 1 am with 2 other families and they did not mind one bit serving drinks and cooking pizzas. The rooms are basic but very clean and were cleaned daily. The pool was excellent and you can tell Michael the owner has put a lot of work into it since taking over in June as everything was freshly painted inside and out and all the sunbed were wicker look and new. 10 mins to the lovely shingle beach and the same to the main centre where there are some amazing restaurants serving excellent food at excellent prices. Big shout out to Maria and her Husband Yannis and to Ruki as they are excellent hosts and nothing is too much trouble. loved it and will definitely go back again.
After arriving around 11 . We asked for food as we seen they stopped serving at 21.30. The barman was more than happy to make us something. We had breakfast every morning here as it was a reasonable price. The hotel rooms are basic but clean. We didn’t pay a lot so we wasn’t expecting much. But all in all. Well worth the money. Special mention to the couple and young lad who work in the pool bar. You work some long hours. And always smiling.
We really enjoyed staying here. The rooms are clean with simple facilities, so not really able to cook but there are so many great places to eat nearby. Just turn right out of the hotel and it's less than 10 mins walk. Eat where there are loads of people, the busier the better! €25 will get you a meat platter for 4 with pitas and salad and 0.5l of wine at Yainnes near the church. Beautiful food! The hotel has been taken over and refreshed in June 2018 by Michael and sister Maria and their families. Really friendly and helpful lovely people. They do great food too and good value drinks by the pool. Theyll stay up late each night too so you can chill out when it's cooler. They cooked and did drinks when we arrived around 2am! The rooms are cleaned everyday and have balconies, the pool is lovely and clean and warm and plenty of places to sit and lounge and sunbath. Yes there are planes going over during the day and early in the morning, and sounds of rural life nearby but I loved seeing the planes and I was on holiday, I didn't care about the noise, it was exciting and it's not all day! For such good value we were so pleased to find such a lovely family friendly place to stay. Thank you to everyone there!
We stay in that hotel from 11 August until 17 of August. We find out that from 2018 they change Managment... The rooms are very clean and huge!!! The staff was very friendly and smily, the pool very clean, the location very good and the beach is very near. We will come back...for sure! Thanks for the Amazing Holidays!!!
We've stayed for week and wi-fi was very poor, working normally only in balcony or near reception. Apartments have kitchenetes but still it lacks things to be able prepare food normally - just 3 plates, forks, knives, spoons, cups, glasses, a pot and pan. But no cutting plate, washing stuff. Really average. Pool was ok. Bathroom is small and once we saw huge cocroach, really disgusting. Balcony has no wire to hang wet clothes. However, the staff is really friendly. The place is close to bus stop. It looks better from outside than from inside rooms. The location is not perfect - about 1,5km to the seashore. We are not sure if we came back here.
studio rooms are huge, very clean, loved our stay, staff are great, even arranged car hire and marked all the must sees around the island would def stay here again, lovely pool area and bar, nice large balcony too
Nice clean hotel near a lovely beach..we went half board. Breakfast was good...dinner not really good..no choice and poor quality food. Nice staff especially Edina at reception.....will def go back again. Huge apartment with all facilities.....not a 5 star...but worth the price we paid.
