Dinner included in the price but you had no choices it was prefixed what you are going to it and it really sucked. Giving a good price with some extras doesn't always mean you ll get what you should get from a hotel of this level.

While the stunning location next to the Oceanfront and roaring waves cant be matched by any other property in the city, the hotel still seems to be riding on past glory and getting a bit dated and can do with a facelift. But overall the rooms, common area etc were ok enough and not too bad. LOCATION: The HIGHLIGHT of the property. Stunning setting next to the Ocean at the tip of the island with glorious views! DINE + DRINK: The biggest DOWNER and LOWLIGHT of the hotel . Super boring spread of food at the lobby level restaurant for both Dinner and Breakfast. But the Lobby level bar has bit of a old world charm and worth stopping by for an afternoon coffee or an early even pre-dinner Aperitif. ROOM: We stayed in a Sea view room on the 4th floor, so this review is based on that; VIEW:Mind Blowing Million dollar views of the Ocean and roaring waves ; SIZE: Reasonably spacious room; AIR-CON: Big bummer as we couldn't control the temperature and the room was quite hot and we had to leave the balcony door open all night and put up with the traffic & loud ocean noise as a result of that!; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part to put me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand in shower; TOILETRIES: Spa quality cosmetics from KORRES brand! FACILITIES: NO Gym or heated pool , so pure Greek chillout mode! SERVICE: HOspitable staff that took care of all my needs with minimal amount of warmth and smile HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free high speed Wi-Fi that works well all over the property. Big Plasma TV screen dishing out dozens of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies and a wide variety of entertainment . Unfortunately ENGLISH channels were restricted to only a couple of boring News channels! Big downer!

Excelent Hotel situated at the beach. Very friendly personel. No problem is too small to be solved. Very good breakfast. The pool is curentlyunder repair, Jan 2019, but the weather is not very bathlike.

Our family stay in Mediterranean hotel was really a success!More specifically, its convenient location just a breath away from the beach and close to all mega rhodes attractions. My uncle (eldery man) came from Australia and due to some health issues he is dealing with, he had many requests. I would like to thank the management and all the team for the excellent customer service and their contribution in making our and his stay so memorable!

Very normal hotel , but it is near of everything . The old town is wonderful . I loved the pasta with red sauce in the hotel . The crue was good . It is right on the beach . The pool was very very cold .

stayed here from 20-27.10.18 as a couple and stayed out of season so we could have a good look around Rhodes Town and other areas as never been to Rhodes before. Positives - location location location! the best selling point IMO, short walk through the back streets/coast to every area. Rooms were very good, ample size for two with lots of storage and good sized bathroom, toiletries and rooms cleaned/updated daily. Staff in general were good (especially Georgia at breakfast, this lass should show the others what customer care is!). Breakfasts were ok foodwise but depending where you sat and who served you for service...aim for Georgia's serving area lol. Negatives - all are only minor....the blond lady who takes your room number when entering the dining area needs a personality transplant, so miserable that I enjoyed saying a happy "hello" to try and make her smile lol. The Pool area could be a problem in peak summer months due to the lack of beds and lack of areas in the sun. The bar area has no atmosphere on an evening which is a shame as it's nice, just hit the Town for drinks. All in all, we enjoyed our first visit to Rhodes and the Hotel Mediterranean.

We visited Rhodes on a day trip 3 yrs ago and decided we wanted to holiday there. We chose this hotel and was glad we did for the view and proximity to the old town. The hotel was very nice we had a full sea view looking out to the magnificent beach, the harbour and not forgetting Turkey. The room was of average size and clean the bathroom with bath was rather small and needs renovation but it did what was needed. You got plenty of toiletries which was replenished everyday. The bed was very comfortable and had plenty of pillows no complaints there. You had a coffee machine in the room but had to pay if you used it and a minibar with snacks very expensive if you used anything. We went to a local market and bought snacks a lot cheaper. You are told you cannot put things in the fridge if you do it will be removed and charged for removal. We put our juices in and they were not taken out so you may get away with it. You can get beach towels from reception for a €10 deposit each which you get back at the end of your stay. There is also a tunnel for direct access to the beach but this was closed as it was end of season. The food was very disappointing to say the hotel is suppose to be 5* the breakfast was always cold I got a hot fried egg if I asked for it to be turned otherwise had to have one from the precooked basin cold. There was no machine to help yourself to tea a couple of mornings we left not having a cup of tea as no one approached us and couldn’t get their attention. The evening meal was not much better again either cold or over cooked and dry. I had one maybe 2 nice meals in the 10 days we stayed. There was no gravy or sauces to put over the meals apart from the one it was cooked in hardly any or dried up. You go on holiday and usually put a little weight on I lost it!! The staff was very pleasant in the bar, reception and restaurant but could smile a little more. One girl in the restaurant was very friendly always smiling and asked how you were and if you had a nice day I think her name was Georgia a credit to the team. Although the hotel itself was lovely I will not be going back if I did I definitely would not pay for half board!

Let's start with the pros: 1. The spot is magnificent since the hotel is just in front of a very nice huge beach, only in walking distance from the old town. 2. The service is professional (the receptionists were very helpful and even provided a complimentary upgrade when asked for a room with a see view / made splendid recommendations for restaurants and bars etc). 3.The wifi service is excellent. 4.The prices are modest, although I must note that we visited off season. Now the cons: 1. The rooms are obviously old and although tidy and clean they are in need of renovation. 2. The quality of the mattresses is below average (perhaps too old...) 3.For a 5 star hotel they are missing some important details like the luck of slippers and bathrobes, free coffee in the room (they charge 1.80 euro for each nespresso capsule you consume), fresh juices as well as espresso/cappuccino coffee machines at breakfast (espresso is probably served but you have to order it/you have no access to a machine and help yourself as you like), All in all, a very good hotel that should be better considering its class (5 stars) and its privileged position.

direct underground access to the beach (which is like 5 euros to rent a chair ) but you have to get there early to reserve the seats. the hotel service is very nice, the location of the hotel couldn't be any better. it is walking distance to everything and right next to the casino. rooms were a bit smaller than expected but who really stays in the room all day when you have the whole island to explore.

The Hotel is ideally situated within walking distance of the town, Harbour and most of all the wonderful cobbled streets of the Old City with it shops galore. Breakfast is on the america n Buffet style with Bacon, Eggs etc , lots of cold meats and pastries available. The bedrooms are spacious and our seaview had views over to Turkey and Mandraki Harbour. The staff and management throughout this hotel make you feel at home, nothing is too much trouble for them, they always seem to have a smile even though they been working since April without a day off, they make you feel at home ...
