What a lovely place to stay, we had a week all inclusive in 436 suite with its own pool, the room was large, well presented with ample furnishings and a large flat screen TV. The bed faced the full height patio doors that led onto a tiles seating area with two comfortable chairs, footstool and table which then led to a decking are with two sunbeds and a large individual pool, all very well designed. our only negative points was the bathroom only had a hand shower so when you washed your hair someone else had to hold the shower and the air conditioning was not to powerful. the main restaurant for the suite was so good, not cramped, the staff was always amazing and had great head of house to give direction, he seemed well respected, breakfast was self service with you eggs (fried, boiled or poached) cooked to order, salmon and other fish on alternate days with cava, and coffee when needed, as for the evening meals it was a five course with two choices on each serving. Two other a la carte restaurants (one a 7 course fish and the other a greek taverna) both exceptional. Bars all good, the pool bar was a great laugh good team. A very big thanks to KiKI at reception for all the help and planning for the wifes flower etc. We will return and sadly 7 days was not enough. A big thanks to all staff from the grounds who mad the place look and smell great to the cleaners, medical staff and the management.

Stayed at hotel in June hotel was clean , very tidy the staff do their best with what they have to work with. I thought this was 5 star it’s a 3 don’t be fooled the cocktails are undrinkable unbranded spirits, the food is cheap cuts of meat the chef is top class but if management cut corners and give you a limited budget to work with it shows. I was all inclusive i felt I was treated like a second class citizen and seriously considered down grading to half board. at a 5 star hotel you not expect to queue at the pool side bar. I walked out of restaurant to get my own drink serve your own wine, it’s quicker than waiting for table service. the hotel has the air of a conveyor belt, just pushing you though which doesn’t reflect the hotels written statement of priding themselves by offering a personal experience . I would not stay here again.

There is the Ixian Grand Hotel which is adult only and the All Suites which is couples only. Right after the arrival at the Ixian All Suites we were feeling relaxed, welcomed and special. We booked a Deluxe Swim-Up half-Board which is a double room with a private Pool instead of a balcony and it included Breakfast and Dinner. Starting with Dinner in the Alazonian Restaurant we were greeted by Nikos (captain of staff) and his great team of waitresses, who added big time to our five-star-holiday. With heartily and sometimes funnily snappy comments, he always remembered special things about our food preferences, what we did the last day and so on. Remarkable if he can do it with all the guests, as the Restaurant usually was fully seated. With no additional cost you can book a table at the Degu7-Restaurant, which has a set 7-course-fishmenu. Same goes for the buffet-restaurant Vis a Vis, but we didn’t go there. The room had a shower and a minibar, where you can store your own stuff as well. It also had bathing robes and slippers as well as Shower gel/shampoo/body Lotion and even dental sets. Everything was very nice and close to perfect, I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a luxurious holiday.

Stayed in a Beachfront Grand Suite with private rooftop pool for a week on a B&B basis. Very impressed with the size of the suite, it was very clean and well-presented. The rooftop pool was extremely private and peaceful (not as fancy as the ground floor beachfront pools on the ground floor, which feature in all the photos, but the added privacy made up for this). The Alazonia restaurant which is for the exclusive use of Suites guests was lovely and there was a wonderful selection for breakfast, including made-to-order omelettes and eggs. The Hotel staff were just lovely - friendly, professional and always smiling, and nothing was too much trouble for them. I would highly recommend the Suites and would love to return again!

We were then moved to 468 which had its own pool again a beautiful room with brightly coloured walls and decor. 2 chairs on the patio and 2 sun Loungers. But no sun until 13.00 The glass shower door bangs closed onto more glass. It leaks all over the floor. You have one tap for hot and one for cold!! The telephone doesn’t work in any of the rooms in our block. The Wi-fi through out the hotel can be hit and miss As we are so far away from the main hotel. No mirror except in the bathroom. So no where to do your make up except in there but the light isn’t great and not much room for your stuff. Duvet on bed in room 468 which is so much nicer then a sheet and bed spread which was in other 2 rooms. Doors banging. They slam close on its own so people coming in late will wake you as the doors just do not shut quietly. On Friday and Saturday they started hammering and banging out side our room at 8am. Then drilling. Was not impressed as we wanted a lie in as we were flying home late that night and it was going to be a very long day. The food in the restaurant is good. Well presented. Hot and loads of selection. I’m a fussy eater but always found something I could eat. I think the staffing is tight. I’d say 5 more waiting staff are needed. They give you a wine glass of water but trying to get a second third or subsequent glass is near on impossible. We resorted to asking them to leave the bottle.

We loved the pool area and how quiet it was at night. Kiki and Tina were so personable and helpful! Its close to Rhodes town and the staff are fantastic. We love adults only. The food was okay and the gym a bit disappointing. Spa lovely!

I do not have a bad word to say about the Ixian All Suites. We booked a sea view hotel room in the Ixian Grand and got upgraded to a sea view Grand Suite and it was amazing! The most exciting point was when we realised we had a roof terrace with a private pool!!!! The room was clean and we were provided with robes, slippers and toiletries. The bed was comfortable and the view was stunning. There was nothing better at the end of the day than sitting on our balcony listening to the sea. Being in the suites we had access to the Alazonia restaurant where we ate breakfast every day, as with the room the view from the restaurant was stunning. The good was great with omelettes and fried eggs being cooked to order and a selection of bacon, beans, sausage etc and delicious fresh fruit and pastries. There was also cold meat which I did not try. Highlight was onion rings with breakfast!! The Alazonia also does a 5 course meal for dinner, choice of 3 or 4 options each night. Everything I ate there was lovely and the staff, specially ‘the captain’ were great. After 1 day he already knew us and which table we liked to sit at! The general buffet by the lobby was also very good, we ate lunch there most days and the choice was very good and all the good was of a good standard. However my favourite food was at the Taverna, the food there is incredible! If you go do not miss the opportunity to eat there!! Pictures included of one of my meals there. Drinks included in the all inclusive package were plentiful. Lots of choice of cocktails all freshly made none of this out of the packet rubbish, one beer choice but it was nice and sparkling wine and sparking wine cocktails also included. Both lobby and pool bar were excellent but particular mention your Stelios at the pool bar who again after not even 1 day knew our usual drinks and had some good banter!! The lobby and other parts of the hotel including the outside areas and the various water features are kept incredibly clean and tidy the whole place is just beautiful. The location of it, right on the beach is perfect. Also used the spa pool on a rainy day, extra 15EUR for access but well worth it. Such a relaxing spa area and lovely pool to swim in. Overall our stay here was just incredible!

Was on a Sisters holiday and we Stayed here end of April in a Premium Swim up room and 2 nights in the Grand Suite with Private pool. The hotel staff was amazing. Credit to them for upgrading 1 of our rooms to the Grand Suite after our tour operator who confirmed with us that an upgrade was available when we arrive but told the hotel that I did not confirm with them when I did. Anyway long story cut short and we was happy that Ixian All Suites was able to honour our request at such short notice. Daily house keeping was good , maybe just once out of 5 nights that a couple of things wasn’t replenished but we just called them up and they came up to the room with items within 5 mins. We mainly used the Alazonia restaurant for breakfast and dinner. And for lunch we ate at the Greek restaurant but the menu was the same throughout our stay but plenty of choices so could try a different item each day. Loved the concept of being in all inclusive we were served A La carte instead of buffet dining and nice presentation of the dishes. The staff there works very hard and Nicos the restaurant Captain was so friendly and joked with us that we always laughed whenever he came to our table. The dinner menu changes daily at Alazonia. Did try the main buffet restaurant once for lunch found there was a good selection of food of meat, veg and dessert. There was a small selection of pasta and pizza for the unadventurous guests. Each room type had their own pro and cons our swim up room didn’t have much sun going into the pool so was a bit useless as the plunge pool was cold and unable to sunbathe. So we just ended up going to the beach/pool. There are some rooms that we saw had sun all day though. So maybe ask for one with more sun. But the rooms now have large beanie loungers on the ledge which were great to just chill on after a day out. Separate shower and toilet cubicles but I agree with the previous reviews that the room lacked hanging/wardrobe space with just a few Hangers next to the sink. The Grand Suite was different. The room was big with double wardrobes and separate bathroom with a jacuzzi bath. Lots of storage space. Outdoor seating area and terrace with sun beds. And had sun all day. So was able to sunbathe on the terrace instead of going to the beach/pool. Also being In the all suites area we didn’t have our own bar area so we either had to walk to the lobby or the main pool for drinks . Maybe if the suites guests had our own bar near to the rooms or have a little perk of a daily replenished mini bar included we would have been able to relax/chill out more in the privacy of our rooms. Rhodes town short distance away 10 mins in the taxi around 15 euros we found every taxi we were in had a different price. Cheapest was 10 euros. 🙄 The hotel is in a Quiet neighbourhood with a few shops and a spar nearby. Only a few minor faults but overall a great hotel perfect for a relaxing peaceful holiday.

Overall this is a nice hotel, clean and good service. However, it was really hot when we were in Rhodes (as you can imagine) and the air-con in the room would not blow cold air because ‘the hotel is still set to heat until 01 May when it is switched to cool’. The temperature control in the room is irrelevant apparently. This meant that we were sleeping with the patio open and we were both bitten to death by mosquitoes, despite wearing repellant. Also, the WiFi is awful. Constantly drops out and you will use your mobile data (as I am currently). Finally, it is a buffet and local alcohol only for all inclusive. The buffet isn’t brilliant as the food quality is poor. The alcohol isn’t the best, I love wine but only had one glass of red and one glass of white all week! Lucky we got this holiday extremely cheap as it is very early in the season (they were still working on the private beach) and it may be better later on in season. However, I will not be coming back here for the normal prices quoted.

overall this hotel is what I expected, typical 3-4 star Greek all inclusive with local branded alcohol, a buffet style restaurant with a couple of al a carte restaurant's. service is very good, from the front desk, the guest relation's guy Christos & all the bar staff. there is a variety of rooms, so check what you book, the range from basic rooms, to suites, you can have a basic room with either a sea view or inland view, there as suites with private roof top pools with a sea view & suites with a sea view which share their pools to inland suites with shared pools, they also have their own resturant. the food in the buffet has a good choice for breakfast, lunch is the same thing daily but every night has a themed night such as Greek, Italian or fish, you get the idea. there is always some sort of pasta, various salads & fish of meat, plenty to chose from. the buffet can get busy in the evening, sometimes you have to wait to be seated, the restaurant manager Dimitris kontogiannis is very good, always checking that you are ok, always with a big smile on his face, he also over sees the al a carte restaurant's. you have to book for these & they are a set menu that does not change. the Greek taverna is not very Greek is style or décor but the food is amazing with a 4 course menu, the staff a chef are excellent, well worth a visit for the amazing food. there are 2 bars, a lobby bar & pool bar, besides the private suite pools there are 2 large pools, one sea water & one fresh water. there are plenty of sunbeds either around the pool, on the lawn or on the beach front. the hotel was full when we visited but there was still plenty of sunbeds. there is a very average gym with 4 treadmills & a few weights.
