We went to visit as much as possible,so the hotel location was great, central located. The stairs were very abrupt and narrow, somebody older or with some movement issues could easily tripped ( it was good if this was disclosed when we booked the room).Lights in the bathroom as well as in the living space were not functional and if you have more then one person staying in the room, was nice to have an extra mirror( besides the one in the bathroom. Very expensive parking, sometimes hard to find a spot ( this was mentioned at the time of reservation)

Staff was excellent for our visit. Luggage storage room was nice. Rooms were very nice. I just wish there had been a luggage stand to put our main bags on. The kitchenette is handy, the TV gets some English speaking channels and the rooms stayed nice and toasty.

Staff was excellent for our visit. When we got to the apartment we were about five hours from normal check in time. One of our party had gotten sick after we left our house and was in pretty rough shape by the time we got to the apartments. By the way, I swear it is a mile walk or more in Keflavik from the gate to the waiting buses since you have to go through Customs and baggage claim. No people movers to save steps, no little carts running around, just your shoes. I called the desk (in another building somewhere) on the lobby phone and asked if there was any way to get a room a room now due to our sick member. They said it might be half an hour for someone to get there since it had just finished snowing; it was the biggest snow storm for them in over fifty years and totaled about 24-27 inches. Our bus had made it there but the roads were not plowed and the sidewalks were not shoveled. Since this was a self service hotel, the two men in our party grabbed a snow shovel and started cleaning of our sidewalk so we wouldn't hurt ourselves trying to go somewhere. In about twenty minutes a gentleman showed up, fussed at us for shovelling snow, checked their inventory and gave us two rooms on the third floor that were ready. Really nice of them to do that. Rooms were very nice, I just wish there had been a luggage stand to put our main bags on. The kitchenette is handy, the TV gets some English speaking channels and the rooms stayed nice and toasty.

Comfortable room, easy checking and out, close to amazing bakery and restaurants. 20min walk to the harbor. Parking is street parking and usually full.

We arrived after a large snow storm in Iceland in which the streets and sidewalks/pathway to hotel were not cleared at all throughout our entire stay. It was scary at times to walk on! We could not check in any earlier than 3 pm which was expected but we could store our luggage in a very small, dirty storage closet. At 3 pm, we got the keys awaiting at the desk and learned that our apartment was actually down the street so we had to carry our luggage through the snow down the street and follow unclear directions like a scavenger hunt to get into the right apartment. Overall, it was an OK stay.. it was clean, you are allowed a clean towel every other day but we had to search for just enough towels for the 3 of us. The apartment did it's job, the Iceland experiences and memories we made were amazing but would not stay at the same place when we visit again.

Excellent location, right off the main street. There are no staff on premises so it may not be for everyone, but it was perfect for us. We stayed in a 1 bedroom and it was clean, spacious and well-stocked. There is a self-service lobby with complimentary phone and and computer to use which was great. They also had extras linens, tour info and maps of the area there. Wi-fi worked perfectly. No complaints. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location right off the strip in the old downtown. Easy walking to many tourist locations, pick up for bus tours right in front. While at first it seemed odd to have no staff on site, in the end I appreciated feeling like I was living in the city rather than staying at a hotel there. The room sleeps four but is very close quarters- not the best place for a family or for a lot of lounging time. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

central location , walking distance to museums and HARPA, good value for money

There's no staff, but this place is perfect so long as you don't need your hand held. It's essentially an efficiency apartment, with appliances and other essentials. There's no real staff presence, although you can always call them. I arrived very late, but they provided me with the door code into the lobby, and left my room key for me. Checkout consisted of locking my room door and dropping the key in a lockbox. It's less than 5min walk to one of the main shopping streets in Reykjavik, and from there another 5min to be downtown. The major bus services in Iceland offer free dropoffs from Keflavik International straight to your door, but if you feel like a walk, its about 15min from the Reykjavik bus terminal.

Very nice room, GREAT location. The hotel does not have full-time staff on duty. Although this helped keep the price low, it could have been helpful when we needed to confront a family in a neighboring room whose children were CONSTANTLY running around and making noise.

Perfect location, one block from the shopping street. Very helpful staff, as well. Clean beds, stove, refrigerator, everything need for your stay. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks, Mike

We were a group of three. It is an apartment, similar to another place we stayed in the city. When we arrived, we phoned on the intercom, and though the "lobby" isn't staffed, the directions were very clear, we got the key and found our way to our apartment. Good times.
