Excellent location. Good view from SKY bar & restsurant. Good front desk personnel Poor bathroom with unacceptable shower.

The property had an excellent view of Harpa and the water that no other Center Hotel has. In addition, there was a lovely spa below the first floor that was additional $$ that was worth the price, to relax in after a day exploring. The front desk manager Daniela was helpful both prior to our arrival and during our stay, as was every other staff member. We could not have enjoyed it more and intend to come again soon.

Fabulously friendly staff! Breakfast excellent...lots of proteins and hot items. Yes, eggs are reconstituted but they serve a lot of people! Very quiet rooms. Sm window opens for fresh air. Windows on view rooms need a scrubbing...only real fault.

loved the restaurant staff! the morning front desk staff was great too.

Great location and gorgeous view. Rooms are comfy and very quiet.

Very good location. The staff was OUTSTANDING - as good or better than at Ritz-Carlton. Room and facilities were very clean. Breakfast was excellent. Restaurant was good. Even though we had largest deluxe room, it was small and the bathroom was TINY.

Nice hotel close to Harpa and Excellent Breakfast.

Rooms were small bed was not comfortable. staff very pleasant and accommodating. Hotel was within easy walk to see and bus station

Pros: Great location. Easy walk to food and sights. Across the street from the Harpa bus stop for many tours and airport bus. Great waterfront views if you’re in that side of the property. Breakfast buffet was smaller than most in the EU, but high quality. Staff was super personable. Cons: the shower seems like it was designed by an insane person. It’s nigh impossible to take a shower without flooding the room. The room are on the smaller side. I could get a steak in the US for what I paid for a club sandwich in the restaurant . One that was outclassed by most bus station vending machine sandwiches

Excellent location for both exploring Reykjavik and for getting picked up and dropped off for tours. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is small, but adequate - it's only missing a place to put your clothes - there were no drawers or closets. This is a hotel room designed for people who only plan to sleep and bathe there, it's not really a room for hanging out in, but then again, you don't go to Iceland to hang out in your room. I would definitely stay there again.

Very, very small room. Hallway carpet was worm throigh. People oitside could see right in (2nd floor) so we had to keep blackout curtains closed lending to an extra claustrophobic feelong. Extra cost for use of small hot tub which was dangerous (I fell).

Hotel staff was amazing, from booking tours to recommendations for food and drinks. Great experience overall!

Great hotel staff, very helpful booking tours and great location!

PROS: great view if you pay extra to have the Bay/Mountain view; nice enough staff, but hospitality could use some work; cleaning staff did a great job keeping our room clean; wifi included; included breakfast buffet (can be very busy though and hard to find a place to sit) CONS: small rooms; no air in hotel room (no fan or central air) and rooms get hot - the only thing you can do is open a tiny window, but then you have to contend with all the street and traffic noise; useless blackout shade - light comes in on the sides and keeps the room bright at all times; unless you get the most expensive room in the place, you do not get shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc and no bathrobe or slippers; bathroom does not have a tub unless you get the most expensive room (it's your bathroom floor with a swing out plastic wall so you are literally showering in fron of the bathroom sink, water goes everywhere); beds are very soft including pillows (no support); walls are VERY thin - could hear all noises around and above, doors slamming at all hours, people talking in the hall, etc.

I needed to alter and extend my stay with this hotel. They refused to answer my emails, and wouldn't talk to Orbitz either. In the end, I lost $200, and never got to stay in this hotel. I arrived very early in the morning (about 4am) before checkout, but they wouldn't answer my request to allow me to at least shower and take a quick nap in the room I paid for. I stay in about 40 hotels a year, and this was bad service. Avoid this hotel to avoid a headache.

Great location near shopping and restaurants. Beautiful views of the water.

Female receptionist at check-in was not pleasant at all and clearly doesn't enjoy her job. Male receptionist at check-out was nicer. Hotel room was very cramped and had one very small, skinny window; barely any room to place an open suitcase anywhere without blocking doors or walkways.
