Buffet was really good, great price. Rooms with two queen beds only 69-89 dollars a night. Great Black Jack tables, free drinks while gambling.....A+++

Hotel location was very nice but I was little disappointed with my room. It wasn’t worth for 4 star hotel. Room was clean but it had a damped smell. Bed sheets were torn.

We got a great price, but there were a few things missing that I expected a casino hotel to have such as a safe. When I asked about the safe the front desk said they have a security box at the front desk. Obviously that is not easy to do so we took our cash with us whenever we leaved the room. Also no refrigerators inside the room. There was also no fitted sheet on the bed, just a pad that kept coming apart. The rooms are comfortable, but need updating. The bathrooms look like they haven't been updated since 1970.

Decent hotel room 1 I expected a bit better for a highly rated hotel.

It was a less than average hotel room. Our pillowcases had hair on them and smelled dirty. Bedding was uncomfortable. Housekeeping was knocking on the door at 7 am and came back every hour to see when we were checking out. I'll stay somewhere else next time I go to Reno.

I haven't been to this place in over 10 years. It use to be the high end spot when the family went skiing. A lot of the lobby area and casino area is nice done, but the rooms were a bit old. It was clean, but the bathroom definitely needs some re-doing. Hotel was pretty much at the low part of the week, as barely any customers were there. The front desk was only staffed with 1 person. It really took at lot longer than how Venetian or Wynn Las Vegas did their check in at peak times. Buffet was closed. Had to go to El Dorado. I had called to ask and the operator said there was prime rib. I went, and there wasn't prime rib. That wasn't too big of a deal. The annoying part was the butcher/chef cutting the meat. I asked for well done, as I had a toddler that I wouldn't want rare. The butcher kept on cutting medium rare or rare slices. I would end up feeding the kid the edges that were done. Finally, after the forth trip and trying to ask for well done, I asked for the manager. He was apologetic and talk to the slicer and they had to cook the meet separately. I understand that we are working in multicultural country, but as the main course for the buffet, you really need to get the right people capable of understanding the basics AND having a good attitude in place. I did go back to the buffet for breakfast, since the other one was closed. The staff in the morning was a day and night difference. The lady manager was visibility hustling to take care of every customer table.

Had a great time. But didn’t realize there was a resort fee on top of the room cost.

Thought employees at registration desk could be more friendly and helpful and the security employees could have been more cheerful. Room was comfortable and service good. Would have liked more choices of places to eat which weren't too spendy.

Was looking for a quick getaway to relax and that’s what I got

Inaccurate room description, mirrors were dirty, and the room door was hard to open it kept getting stuck.

We needed a room in Reno for one night. We booked this room because it was available for $40. The staff were very friendly, and the hotel was clean, but dated. Our room was spotless, but other than a flat screen tv, it was clearly 20+ years old. Service was great, but the hotel rooms are in need of a renovation. Still, if you get a good rate, it is a pleasant and convenient place to stay.

Silver Legacy I’m located between Circus Circus and El Dorado. The room looks a little dated but it was clean. Very friendly staff. Will stay here again.

We went to the Italian Festival. This hotel is the perfect location.

We generally try to avoid Casino hotels, but Silver Legacy worked well because you can avoid the Casino scene almost entirely. Use the convenient self-park (free) and take the elevator to the lobby floor (above the main Casino) and then onwards and upwards to the guest rooms. Rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable with good linens. Nice little coffee shop near the lobby with friendly employees. I want to commend and thank the wonderful reservations agent (Linda) who so kindly went out of our way to help us extend our stay by 2 nights as were unable to return home due to Hurricane Irma. Not only was she kind and understanding, but she checked with her manager and called back to offer us an even lower Evacuation Rate. Great service. Thank you.

We stayed there for a conference. All staff were pleasant and very nice. The room was not bad, and had an iron, hair dryer, etc....but was not cleaned well before we went there. found a dirty old sock, and sandwich trash on the floor, the glasses were not exchanged for clean ones, no bag for the ice bucket, which was dirty....but bed was comfortable, location was fantastic and we could do the casino and restaurants without even stepping out side. Unique and historic, just wish the housekeeping was better. We did complain and the management addressed our issue. Appreciated the airport shuttle transportation.

Beautiful hotel. Great location. Connected by walkway to 2 other casinos. Pool is outside so little disappointed. Thought room would be a little fancier, since lobby magnificent. Bellman extremely helpful in planning excursions

I was looking forward to the stay, the lobby was nice and staff were friendly but the room was a bit of a disappointment probably last redone in the 1990's

The worst thing about these casino hotels is getting stuck with unexpected charges. The Silver Legacy advertises $60/night rooms, but it ends up being closer to $100 after paying the "resort charge" and other fees. Orbitz should not allow this kind of bait-and-switch promotion.

The facility is nice, despite the indifferent front desk staff. Like all casinos, Silver Legacy has a confusing set up. The best part was the excellent Vietnamese and Mexican restaurants across the street.

Room was great and spacious and entire stay was wonderful.
