Just recently stayed at the Novotel in Reims. Great pricing on the room! The hotel staff at this location is great and hospitable. The rooms are adequately furnished for my needs and clean. This hotel is right behind the TGV train station and there is an underground walk way that places you right in front of the station. From there its a straight walk to many restaurants and shopping. I would definitely recommend this hotel if staying for a few days of champagne tasting!
This is the 3rd time we have stayed here as a family - only for one night each time as a stop over on way back from Alps. Well thought-out large rooms with double, single and additional pull-out single bed. Screens to separate the adult/kids part of the room, extra sink for drinking water, Nespresso coffee machine, nice bathroom. Triple glazed windows (as next to station} - very quiet. We love staying here. Good choice of breakfast too. Great service from hotel staff - we had a hideous journey back from Alps in Dec 15, which took us 24 hours to drive to Reims due to accident in the Alps. We phoned in advance to say we might not make it - they tried to find an alternative Novotel for us. Unfortunately none were suitable so we drove through the night and arrived in time for breakfast, after which we went to bed for a few hours. They allowed us a late check-out to get some sleep before we continued our journey back to the UK.
Very quiet, clean spacious room. Very good breakfast! First time in Novotel and would go back again. Staff very nice. Can walk to museum and restaurants. Paid extra 10 euros for gated parking next to hotel.
50 of us booked into this hotel all at the same time. Staff were friendly and there was no fuss for the fussy ones who wanted different rooms. Lovely feel to the rooms. Proper bath and separate shower with a boat them. The rooms were spacious and the TV was a good quality one on wheels so could be moved around. Breakfast was generous and plentiful. Good location. Closer to the business side of the station rather than the tourist side, so felt a little more 'grown up' than some of the others I've stayed in in Reims over the years.
I was pleasantly surprised by the size and facilities I found in the family room booked at Novotel Reims suites. This added to the relaxing feel to the last night of our holiday. The hotel was well located near to the center of the city, our restaurant was only 10 minutes walk away. The staff on the front desk were helpful and friendly, and keen to offer advice. There is also a secure car park with limited spaces. I would certainly use this hotel again.
As usual the rooms are way too hot, even though it was very cold outside. Who are these people that sleep in rooms at 25 degrees plus at night! Very hard pillows, so not the best nights sleep. Receptionist very helpful though and good location.
We were really surprised when we arrived at the hotel. It is a 5 minute walk from the train station, and you can walk to the other side of Reims in 25-30 minutes....perfect location! The bed was comfortable and on par with most European hotels. The room was large, and my wife and I kept remarking how it was similar to a cruise ship suite. Although we only stayed for 1 night, it felt like we were there for several. The breakfast was perfect, although my wife had some issues operating the coffee machine. A perfect selection of baked goods, cereals, yogurt, eggs, bacon....just right! All in all, I would have to say that there was wrong with the hotel. I would have given it a 5/5, but it doesn't have the luxury that a 5 deserves. For the price and location, this place can't be beat! Next time we are in Reims, we will definitely stay here again, and again, and again!
We stayed here for 2 nights. Located just outside of the old part of the city and easy walking distance from the station if you have caught the train from Paris. It is also a very easy walk into the old part of town. Check in was a breeze and staff were very friendly and helpful when we asked to book a tour of the Mumm Factory. We were given a very good discount as we were hotel guests. Room was spacious and there was plenty of room for 3 adults all our luggage and shopping we had accumuilated along the way. Breakfast was basic but offered all the trimmings and we were very happy. I would reccommmend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Reims. Thanks you for a memorable visit.
We stayed for two nights at the Novotel Suites in Reims. The property is just outside the old part of the city, right near the train station if you are arriving by train. Easy and secure parking is also available right next to the hotel. The rooms are modern and functional and include a microwave in case you wish to heat up some food. Breakfast was included and was a very good way to start the day. Also located near by are a laundromat (head towards the Surrender Museum and turn left at the main road - it is located off the main road near a church) and a pretty good convenience store at the train station open until 8pm. If you want a restaurant meal, you will need to walk into the city centre about 10 mins away. If Champagne is your thing (good reason to visit Reims!!), the Hotel sells several brands by the bottle and box in case you need to take some quality product home with you. All in all, happy to recommend this property - ideal for Aussies away from home.
The rooms are spacious and comfy. Beds, pillows are good. Bathrooms a little odd but functional. Don't expect tea and coffee facilities in the room - the kettle is there but no stock. Personally, I like to have an early cuppa in the room. Breakfast however was very goo as was the bar. Good position for venturing out to discover shopping and the sights
