Desk staff refused to provide us with our room because they had not received the Orbitz confirmation yet. He said a 30 minute wait at a minimum. It was pouring rain outside and he wasn't offering any means of accommodation so we went outside. In the rain. When we finally get our room, the entry door had a hold in the toe kick. There was a random exterior-grade extension cord sitting out in the middle of the room. The alarm clock was unplugged and had no outlet to plug into. We advised the front desk, and the same person said, "Oh we know about that already. Anything else?" No suggestions or a remedy or any type of help. At all. Later on we kept smelling phantom smells of Ben-Gay and sewage. Very bizarre.

In late and out early. But comfortable and clean.

Close to all the outlets if that's what You are there to do..

Good location not to far from the beach. Staff keeps the place clean

The hotel was pleasing to the eye and very convenient for shopping and going out to eat, unfortunately I didn’t take into consideration it was “pet friendly” and the smell of the deodorizer to mask the smell of the pets and their urine was discusting. Our luggage, clothes, hair and my car smelled like the hotel and that terrible deodorizer.

Good newer place in great condition. Free breakfast is good. Far enough off of the highway that it is quiet. Recommended!

At first we were put off as the woman checking us in was less than pleasant to say the least but we didn't let that ruin our time there as all other staff were extremely polite and helpful and we ended up having a great time there.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The continual breakfast offered a lot of choices. We really enjoyed the hot tub and pool. One thing they need to upgrade are the TVs

Convenient location for our family. For the price, the the stay was fair.

Clean, comfortable and affordable establishment. Near outlets, restaurants, the beach and entertainment.

The hotel is in good location to the shopping. The beds are great, we had queen beds. The rooms are quiet.

Great rooms, pool and breakfast. Traveled with 2 young children who had a blast!

Greeted by fans in the Lobby and damp smell. No elevators to second level rooms. inexperienced staff (Josh) took over 30 minutes to check-in after trying to find corporate account for a guest + couldn't help with TV that would not work. Room not good value!

It is good for the price! That being said, obviously your room is not going to be the best looking thing ever, but for the time your in Rehoboth it will do its justice. The wifi was pretty good as well and they do have breakfast in the morning. Just remember when booking, they do allow dogs, which can bark all night long! Other than that our stay was very good!

Some of the previous reviews were hit or miss so we were a little nervous. I was pleasantly surprised. The lobby was welcoming and we were able to check in an hour early without fuss. Our room was spacious for a double queen and was quiet. We stayed for two nights and didn't hear any noise from the hall or other rooms and they seemed to be full. The pool was a hit for the kids but that area in general could have been a little nicer. Nothing I'd complain about, just an observation. The complimentary breakfast was very good with many options including homemade waffles, breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, bagels, fruit, cold cereals, and more. Another bonus was it was just off of Route 1. You could see it but not hear it and was only a few miles from the beaches and minutes to shopping, restaurants and entertainment. We would stay again if ever back in the area.

Comfy room. Great location. Staff very friendly . Great price for location. Wish breakfast would had more hot items and would've vacuumed room better, but not a deal breaker. Would definitely stay again .

Hotel was nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

From outside it doesn't look so good...but inside is nice...had a good experience their..

OK experience. Pay $209 for a night. Over priced for a basic hotel like this.

I was very impressed with the "new" AmericInn due to the recent renovation. The overall appearance now is very appealing. The gentleman at the front desk at check in was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable so my stay was very nice. I'll go back in the future because it's in a very convenient location making it so easy to get to the beach, shop and eat.
