My husband and I booked a jacuzzi suite in August for our stay this weekend. We are goodlife fitness members so we get a discount on the room rate(which is besides the point). We drove from Prince Albert for an event and to celebrate our anniversary. Once we arrived at the hotel(a few minutes past 4pm) we were then notified that they didn’t have a jacuzzi suite for us. The front desk attendant started looking into it and mentioned that someone had extended their stay to 5 nights, so they were still in the room. Then the next thing out of her mouth was that the online booking had double booked it and that because it was such a good deal everyone was booking it. So which is it... the online booking or someone extending their stay and staff ok’d it?! She then called her boss and was told there was nothing they could do but put us in a king room for 15.00 off the nightly rate... which we declined. She then called her boss back and got approval to give us the staff nightly rate.. which due to travelling 4 hours and not wanting to drive home we accepted but not happily! If it wasn’t for the event we were looking forward to our romantic weekend would have been ruined thanks to this hotel. My advice to anyone wanting to stay here is to call before you arrive to make sure they have the room you booked!
Newly renovated with ample parking. Location is great, near major shopping. Free breakfast was good, but best to stay away from the eggs. Staff wasn’t the friendliest, but they got us what we needed. Rooms were clean, no issues there.
Travelling across Canada and looking for the room to sleep in Regina. Stopped at Super 8. Bad service at the front desk. Women lied on our face. Not recommended for travelers with kids. As we entered the main entrance, we walked through a wall of smoke from all the smokers standing outside. Ended up getting back into our car & continuing our search for a comfortable location to sleep.
I answered the questions and felt that it was enough. As for the breakfast, it lacked proper fresh fruit and some type of muffins ( Bran or Blueberries Etc.).
This propertyi is always clean staff friendly and helpful. Close to shopping and main roads ways with easy access to east west highway Pet friendly with close access to parks and walking trails
The hotel itself and the location are fantastic. Really nice upgrades to the hotel. The breakfast is okay, but the eggs (scrambled) that they serve are dry and very very bad. If they would update the eggs that they have been using that would make it definitely a 5 star.
I stayed here as the price was good compared to some of the other eastend hotels. checkin took awhile but the clerk was helpful enough. The room was ok, nothing special, not real modern but clean. Breakfast was ok, pretty basic continental breakfast. The price was reasonable but many better options in the eastend.
We stayed there twice in three weeks, once in August 2017, once in September 2017. Both time we were treated to a clean, comfortable room, quiet hallways and a good breakfast in the morning. Staff were not the most engaging (didn't look up when someone came into the building or walked by the desk) but when we were dealing directly with them, they were polite, professional and efficient.
Overnight stay on our way to Lethbridge clean room, breakfast was hot and good parking good, location for continuing trip excellent
Housekeeping staff were very loud you can here them from your room and receptionist isnt friendly maybe she having a bad day. On the brighter side hotel location is close for everything
