Enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Service was good, staff friendly, room satisfactory, comfortable and quiet. The server we had at breakfast was exceptional - fast, friendly and attentive. Would stay here again.
Comfortable hotel with a lot of amenities. Easy place to do business. Average decor. Would stay here again if in Regina.
Looked forward to hitting the sack after a long day sportsing. Comfortable rooms, kept very clean, although the bathroom for our two Queen bed room was probably the smallest I've seen in any hotel I've been to in a long time. Probably fine for one person but for two it was a little cramped.
I always end up going back to the Ramada Regina as it's consistent and central. I've stayed here several times and have always been happy with the service and accommodations. Every time I stay they seem to take a little extra step above and beyond because of something I've needed. The staff are always very helpful and happy to help. I'll be back again in the near future!
Only complaints, room was too warm to sleep and the temp showed unnecessarily warm. We could not adjust to our liking. The fridge froze everything, mentioned this to housekeeping staff but they did not seem to take much interest, so we could not use it. Also, I found it annoying to have to keep entering the wifi code, each day, maybe this is standard practise.
The lobby was nice, food and service in the restaurant was very good. The reception & check in staff were pleasant and efficient. The one disappointment was in the room. We had reserved two rooms. Both bathrooms were not clean. Hair in the bathtub and floor. The bottom of the tub was black. Friends also had a room beside us and their tub bottom was black. We advised the front desk & they promptly moved us without question. The new rooms were better. The rooms need upgrading they are worn. Heater/air conditioner clanked throughout the night.
We Stayed at the Ramada for our Sons Wedding. They kept all of both families on the same floor which made it so convenient for us. The staff was excellent and accommodating as well as front desk staff. We found breakfast was great, Loved the potato pancakes. we enjoyed our weekend at the Regina Ramada and perfect location on Victoria avenue.
We reserved a room for an event and reserved 2 rooms through employee booking website. We called and requested adjoining rooms and were told no problem. A few days before check in, we reviewed the reservation email and it indicated our rooms were SMOKING. We never thought to look at this on the reservation as this is not permitted in other provinces and did not realize this was still legal in Saskatchewan. We called and was told a "note on file was made and it shouldnt be a problem". Upon arrival, we were told that only smoking rooms were available as there was a conference and all other rooms were full. Having called before check-in, this was upsetting. Especially having 1 elderly guest and 2 with medical problems with their lungs. We were told that the person on the phone was told they would not be able to accomodate the change to non smoking rooms but we were never notified that this was impossible. Reception offered to let us inspect the rooms to ensure that it was ok for everyone staying. The rooms ended up being ok but our guests with medical problems couldn't stay in the hallway long as there were guests smoking in their rooms close by with the door OPEN. Anyways it did end up being ok. When we asked why we were booked in smoking rooms we were advised that employees, when booking, receive the lowest possible benefit and can even have their reservations cancelled altogether if the hotel feels they need the room. While this is not the fault of this specific hotel, this is an unacceptable way to treat their employees who have been given this benefit. To have been down graded and potentially been cancelled on for an out of province trip?? We would have been left scrambling for a place to stay. The employee bookings policy needs to be revised. Another issue is that when we were handed the keys we were told that they were adjoining... Which they were not. They were, to their credit, beside each other. This was not a big deal but when you are told you are getting one thing only to receive another, is not good customer service. All that said, the front desk was very courteous and tried to do everything they could to change our rooms. Of our 6 day stay, 3 days were fully booked. After those days, we were offered adjoining rooms on a non smoking floor. While this should have been the original room booking, we were very grateful they moved our rooms at the earliest possible day. The staff were very pleasant and accomodating despite our frustration. Small rooms, noisy a/c, not the cleanest, poor water pressure, hot tub wasn't working, restaurant service was slow, poor wifi.
The hotel was very clean , staff was friendly. Bed were very comfortable with nice linen. Had a pleasant stay
