Decent hotel, good value, would stay here again. Pleasant hotel staff, basic but acceptable breakfast.

We only slept one night and the place is nice. The room was clean, the staff was nice, and the breakfast was pretty good. Two things that may be improved: 1. the speed of checking in is comparatively slower than other hotels. 2. breakfast area was small.

The room was clean, but smelled so strongly of fabric cleaner and "air freshener", I had to sleep with a shirt over my nose. It was like walking into Abercrombie and Fitch. Yuck.

the room was clean & nicely updated. Lots of space decent sized frig with a freezer which we used for our ice packs. The breakfast was a step above with homemade waffles, eggs & breakfast meats. The pool was nice but not necessarily a place to Spend the day...I'd say it was agreed deal.

We arrived for a weekend stay. Arrived late, but greeted warmly and efficiently. Requested ground level room, and was accommodated without problems. The staff was helpful with any request, and the complimentary breakfast was more than we had expected. We had a wonderful room, worked out nicely for our needs. We would recommend this hotel to others, and will most definitely stay here again.

We have stated here before and it was nice as I remembered. Close to a favorite restaurant of ours.

This hotel was clean, inexpensive, and the staff were friendly. Highly recommend.

Had reserved a King non-smoking room. Upon arrival, check in desk person noticed it was very close to the ice-maker, so changed the reservation without my asking. Besides a comfortable bed, there were lots of extras: two-couch sitting/tv area, roomy bath, lots of space. Loved it!

Arrived with 2 grandchildren on a hot afternoon and were treated like family from then on. Clean comfortable room, great breakfast, nice swimming pool and wonderful front desk staff. Excellent value and service.

We had a difficult time finding the hotel. Clerk at check in was helpful but the other clerk, later in the evening seemed to have a difficult time speaking English. The contnental breakfast was nothing to write home about...cereal was the best I could do. My husband had the "egg" pattie and sausage which he put on a bagel and managed to choke it down. If we are back in this town again, we will not be staying here.

I booked this hotel based on the reviews given and after our stay, feel they were too generous. The location was fine and was close to several decent restaurants, but the room was old and needed some "TLC". The carpet was old and had a huge patch job under the bed making me question why and the sofa in the room was old and tired and not too inviting. It wasn't the worst place I've stayed in but wasn't as great as the reviews made it seem.

A good location. Stores and restaurants near by. Convenient.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property was older, but the room was huge, clean, and comfortable. Our room was stocked with a refrigerator and a coffee maker. Most importantly the air conditioner worked well (which is very important for a stay in Redding during the summer). The breakfast wasn't super special, but it was definitely good enough for us. The hotel is located near the freeway and near several restaurants. If I were traveling through Redding, I would definitely stay at this Comfort Inn again.

Nice comfortable rooms comparable with other more expensive hotels nearby. Staff was very accommodating, I called the night before explaining I would be there an hour or so early and would be there very tired. They made sure my room was ready when I got there and was able to get rest before I had my meeting.

we met granddaughters who came from los angeles, it would have been nice if we could have visited in the breakfast room, instead of driving to a restraunt or staying in our rooms. other comfort inns allow this. we had a problem with very loud and rude soccer team that was not superviosed and they were loud and diving into the pool and left garbage all over. they also ran up and down the hallways. when we checked out the kids had spitballed my car below their balcony, and when we let management know, they paid for my car to be washed, which I appreciated. In the future I will check to see if school groups are also arriving and will go elsewhere if they are there. The staff were great.
