The Smokin' Oak right next door is a nice choice for BBQ/pub food. The hot breakfast and cold choices also was convenient and decent.

Accommodated early checkin
Chlorine levels way too high in pol and hot tub. Our kids developed chlorine related rashes from the high chlorine levels. Needed more room towels and trash emptied but had to ask for those to be done.
The room we booked was a double queen but was given a single queen with a pullout couch, it wasnt comfortable. Fortunately, we only stayed one night. The room also had junk on the floor from previous guests. The pool water was cold and the hot tub was luke warm at best. The breakfast was included which was nice. Would probably consider other options in the area next time but would stay again if necessary.
Good locaton breakfast was typical but good. Pool nice but a little chilly and nuce hot tub. Good value for the price.

This Country Inn & Suites appears to be new or recently remodeled & everything is very well maintained and offers all the extras like guest laundry, computer room, privacy fencing, keycard entries which actually lock securely etc. It’s location is away from the heart of Red Wing so is quiet. The pool and hot tub hours are 6am to Midnight which is much later than most hotels offer plus there were fresh towels in the pool area. The rooms were clean with no foul odors & the beds were comfortable enough. We really enjoyed having a full breakfast & the flexibility of breakfast going until 10am. A noon checkout was quite nice especially after a long ride on the motorcycle. Overall I would give this hotel a 9/10 with the only complaint being the pool restroom needs to be sanitized & deodorized more often as it smelled & i couldn’t tell if it was water or urine on the floor around the toilet.
It was so noisy we I couldn’t sleep. There was a lot of noise from the road, there was a ceiling light that rattled every time some one walked on the floor above us. Noise from the hall carries right into the room.
