Ravenna is an art city of extraordinary importance, famous throughout the world for its Byzantine mosaics and early Christian monuments, many of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Must-see attractions include the Basilica of San Vitale and the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, famous for their perfectly preserved mosaics, the Neonian Baptistery, the Arian Baptistery, and the Basilica of Sant’Apollinare Nuovo. Other notable places include the Mausoleum of Theodoric, the Basilica of Sant’Apollinare in Classe (just outside the city), the Tomb of Dante Alighieri at the Basilica of San Francesco and the evocative Flooded Crypt.

The property is very conveniently located, a short distance from the heart of the city, while remaining in a quiet area, away from the busiest flow of tourists.
