Aroko Bungalows

Charming bungalow with spectacular view

Wonderful location right on the beach with a fantastic view of Muri lagoon and the ocean beyond, with snorkels and kayaks available for guests. Walking distance to restaurants, convenience stores, and car & scooter rentals. 4 nights a week the Muri Night Market is right up the road, with terrific food booths and music surrounding picnic tables. Or you can buy food locally and make your own meals in the kitchenette. Bungalow staff were terrific hosts. I highly recommend this lovely, quiet, reasonably priced accommodation.

Muri Beach Club

Rarotonga stay

We spent two days in Rarotonga but our main destination was Aitutaki. Rarotonga hotel is Ok, it has a good location. It is a good option to spend some days in Rarotonga, not far from downtown and it is in front of the best area of the lagoon.

The Rarotongan Beach Resort & Spa

Would Recommend this Hotel

We found the staff friendly and responsive. We had a first floor ocean view room that was very nice. We saw whales on 8 of the days of our vacation. In coming form the hot summer in North America we found it a bit cool and one day was downright cold in early September. Also had four days of rain and clouds. Some fun activities during the day, not much to do at night but drink and make babies. Room was clean, shower had good volume and was hot. My wife had such a good time that she is already looking at booking another vacation back although this time we probably will schedule for the last week of Sept or first week of Oct when it gets a bit warmer. Also should be noted that although this is a beach side hotel, they do a wonderful job of keeping the lush garden grounds spotless. It is almost like being in a botanical garden, be careful of falling coconuts! Also, they have an excellent continental breakfast buffet. Would recommend.
