It would have been ok if the mattresses on the beds were not so soft. I didn't sleep for 2 nights. The pillows also became flat as a pancake when you laid on them. The mattresses could at least had some support to them. These had none.

Central location, close to airport and easy to get to both Durham/Chapel Hill and Raleigh. The parking is free. The hotel is old and needs refreshing. The rooms are ok but the beds oddly uncomfortable. The amenities are spotty with odd hours for the restaurant and gift shop. Charles Lewis at the desk was especially pleasant and helpful with questions etc.

Great stay at the hotel and no concerns to provide. Everyone was very nice to us

Surprisingly nice hotel. Extremely comfortable beds and nice sized rooms. The amenities are a bit lacking but it is centrally located to Durham and Raleigh

For the time that my girlfriend and I stayed at the hotel our visit was more than pleasant, staff were warm, welcoming, and ready to answer any question we had. The food they have to offer is delicious and the full bar is also a nice addition with awesome room service. The bed linens were clean as was the rest of the room with plenty if toiletries.

Fabulous!!! I really have no other way to describe my room but Fabulous

The Sheraton Imperial is located conveniently close to the airport as well as Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill. Always good service and the rooms are big and very comfortable.

arrived late but had excellent service at the desk an comfortable room with very comfortable bed.In the dark, it was a little difficult to see signs to the self-parking lot. Location was not as close as it could have been to following day's meetings, but that was not hotel's fault.

I had a good experience at this hotel. The room was nice and comfy, the room service staff as very professional and friendly, the food was decent-pretty good, and the price was surprisingly low for this hotel.

I booked the room a few days prior to my stay and the great rate I got left me wondering what the hotel would be like. I was VERY pleasantly surprised when I walked in. Greeted by welcoming, kind staff and then by a clean, quiet room. Had a great night of sleep. While it's not in plain site off the highway, I will certainly look into staying again.

Hotel appearance and lobby is great along with the pool and fitness gym right next door for use of hotel guest. The room on the other hand was not so impressive with the exception of the bed. Extremely outdated. Mold in the ceiling tiled In the bathroom. The room is very large but tons of empty space that needs more stuff. They could probably add a kitchen or something. Looking for a budget four star this is your place. Get what u pay for.

Pretty good, although somehow a noisy party came through at 2 am, but security thankfully took care of it. Super clean, good breakfast spot and Starbucks downstairs.

The Sheraton is a nice hotel, very clean. My stay was short, but the front desk was very helpful and when there were some noisy folks coming in late (arguing in the hall and not acting courteous at 1:30 am on a week night) I called downstairs and security came up right away to take care of it. I feel as though this should not have happened though, this loud and obnoxious clientele shouldn't be anywhere near the Sheraton.

My son and I traveled to Raleigh-Durham to visit several colleges in the area. The hotel was convenient to the airport, clean with friendly staff. The hotel restaurant was just okay.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room service food was fabulous and reasonably priced (the greek salad was amazing). The vending machines are frustrating; I had to try three different floors before I could buy a drink. The water pressure in the showers was not good. There's a massaging shower head, but not enough water pressure to use it. The mattress was incredibly comfortable, but the pillows were not. The room has a large desk that is perfect for spreading out work.

We visited Durham-Chapel Hill for 3 days, stayed in this hotel. It was nice, just had a little problem when we got out the high way. They don't have a clearly sigh to show you which way will go to the hotel, little hard for the 1st time visiting there. Otherwise,it's a nice hotel to stay. convenient to everywhere. The room was clean, the bed was very comfy,TV has lots HD channels.Service was excellent. But the bathroom counter was a little too small, not enough space for 2 people. The shower was little dated, shower head was too small, not comfy for the showers. The restaurant look pretty, but the food was not the sheraton's standard. We will prefer to drive outside to look for nice restaurant to eat, even for the breakfast. I'll stay there again, but I'll never eat at their restaurant again.

Great place. Friendly staff. Very nice facility. I recommend it.

Good staff, keen to help. Use their meeting room, though their minimum sized room is a 10 seater and we were only 3 of us! Overall, great place as their shuttle service anywhere within 5 miles is very useful too.

This hotel is what you'd expect. It was nice enough. The rooms were standard, very clean, and in proper order. The toilet ran a little, but other than that everything was in working order. Would I stay here again? Sure. The only thing worth mentioning was the gift shop/convenience store clerk and I had a good 20 minute chat. He was a nice, unexpected surprise.

My wife and I had a great stay here. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Dear Bryan: Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. One of the major purposes of online reviews is to highlight areas for improvement and your feedback provides our hotel with valuable information that we can review to improve on for the future. It was good to hear that you found our location to the airport convenient. And the parking is free. Again, thank you for your review and for your business. We hope that if your travels bring you back to Durham, North Carolina that you will give us opportunity to welcome you back. Sincerely, DianeT Customer Service Manager SIHCC
