I was very disappointed in this motel. When we came back after 3, we had to stand in line until rooms were available. There were only three of us. When we finally got into our the room, the toilet paper holder, towel bar, and door handle were broken. The items in the bathroom were fixed but the door handle wasn't. Then, the TV screen was dark. Our non-smoking room smelled of smoke.

Business trip with Managing Director from HQ in Europe. Room was not clean and air vents .were coated with 1/8" of dust. This experience was negative on me and Quality Inn. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Peekskill NY the following night. the HI was perfect and made the stay at the QI that much worse in comparison. He commented that I should consider staying at a better class of hotel in the future at least while he was travelling with me. Cleanliness is key to me and seeing that this facility does not clean is upsetting as I use Choice Hotels quite often. I usually have a good stay.

Hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment. Staff does the best it can but the rooms were beat to death.

Very comfortable stay, nice and clean room, very comfortable bed

Bed was uncomfortable. There was no alarm clock. There was a tile missing in the bathroom so they replaced it and it was rough on our feet so we had to leave a towel on the floor. It looked like the refrigerator had a leak at some point and there was a line of mold on the floor where it leaked. The breakfast was good but we won't return to this hotel.

The hotel provided a good clean room that was sufficient for my needs.

*Hotel hallways smelled like marijuana when I got to the 3rd floor. The Hotel states it's 100% No Smoking. *Pool was extremely awful looking, looked like it had nit been cleaned in years. *Hotel needs alot of repairs. *Front desk awful * bathroom not the greatest. would never recommend this hitel to anyone.

A sign in room says that air conditioning is off unless occupant is in room. I tried everything to turn it on. No luck. Room smelled musty. Corner of room was falling into who knows what. It is not a 3.5 room. It is a 2.5 room. Old and in need of updating. Sink didn't drain well. I could not stay there more than the six hours I did,

My family travels to Durham, N.C. every summer, usually the last week of July, to visit family and take part in an end of summer panic. The Quality Inn & Suites location, it's complimentary breakfest, good sleeping beds and it's access to the I-85 corridor, makes this an ideal location for anyone visiting Durham, N.C.

An average stay at an average venue. We were greatly disappointed that the breakfast service was depleted of most of the beverages and food items even 1/2 hour prior to the indicated service time. Even when asked by numerous guests, the staff made no effort to provide additional breakfast fare to the number of customers who made requests and were anticipating restocking of the foods and beverages. Many left quite disappointed.

When we arrived at the hotel I was satisfied with the space and ready to get to back. However, the very next day when I inquired on when the pool was open for use I was told that the pool was closed. The front desk representative had no idea or didn't know how to explain why the pool was closed. She also had no clue on when it would be repaired. By then I was extremely disappointed with my stay. I only chose this hotel because they had a pool and it was closed. I had two situations where house cleaning did misunderstood and didn't clean the room until the next day. When I complained about that the manager never showed his face and they never offered anything besides the option to wait for another visit from housekeeping. However, when housekeeping did make it to our room they did a decent job. What I loved was the complimentary breakfast and the gym was pretty good. On the second, day the notice regarding the pool closure was finally posted and I wish that they told guest regarding there options much earlier. In my opinion as soon as the pool was out of service a notice should have been posted right away and also noted on the website. The stay would have been better if they simply had a pool available or another option besides leaving the hotel and having to find somewhere else to stay. I don't think I will go back. They definitely need training in problem solving for customers.

Older property but clean. Rooms not arranged for TV viewing. Lamps need outlets on them to plug in phone, etc. Bed was comfortable. Next door to a Cracker Barell. Pool had no water. Rooms were outside entrance.

Room was comfortable. Location to Duke was close enough. Price very reasonable.

Air conditioner made some noises, but bed was comfortable. Ttotally OK

Perfect basic hotel very close to I 85. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean. We needed a last minute place to stay because of an unexpected trip. This was a perfect rest point very convenient to the interstate. Not a luxury hotel, but given the price, a great value for resting on a long trip.

The staff was very friendly. The bathroom was not very clean. I had no hot water for my shower due to issues with the plumbing. The staff offered another room but my schedule was very tight and I did not have time to relocate my family before I left to take care of the business I came to town for...

The location was convenient but convenience is not worth a bad stay. There was a sport event we wanted to see on TV and we couldn't watch it in our room. We did manage to sleep so it wasn't a total loss.

Used room as a home base for a reunion trip. There were minimal amenities and the breakfast wasnt great. Close to Duke and downtown to allow for frequent trips back and forth. Overall, an adequate but not great accommodation.

I was in the area because of the medical hospital near by. It served as a comfortable place to spend the night. Little time was spent in the room.

Quality Inn & Suites, Durham, North Carolina was definately not worth the money, the first room they gave us was right next to the entry door, which slammed every time someone came into the entrance to the 3rd floor. They gave us another room which was small and had a strange odor, I think they were trying to cover up smoke in a non-smoking room. We will not stay there again.
