Hotel Indigo Raleigh Durham Airport at RTP

spent the Christmas holiday at this hotel and the staff made you feel very welcomed.

I've stayed at many hotels and this was one of the best I've been at. I loved the huge shower and the soft pillows on the bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful when it came to know what to do around the area. Cary wasn't that far so it wasn't hard to get to the mall.overall I would come back again!

This hotel offers good amenities for the business traveler. Especially in terms of food. This is important because there is not much around the hotel, and many things close early. I wish the pool was a bit bigger.

The room is beautiful. We really enjoyed the look of the bathroom and the hardwood floors. The restaurant was a little on the expensive side.

Very trendy, clean modern hotel but the staff needed training on customer service. Agent a front desk appeared to rolled out of bed and right to front desk. Wrinkled shirt unbuttoned, tie crooked and pants unzipped. Also they call themselves pet friendly but charge a wooping $75 pet fee. Other nearby hotels 3-4star hotels only charge $15-20.

You get better than average for the price. This hotel is located right off the highway and convenient if you have to travel between Durham and Raleigh. I'm familiar with the area, but I can see why someone would say it's not in the best location. The hotel provides all amenities one would need. It is clean and modern, the bed is quite comfortable, but the shower is eco-friendly (I'm not a fan). Though they do offer room service, the dining facility cannot be called a restaurant and breakfast is not included. However, the staff is wonderful...they even bring you a refrigerator if you request one. Again, for the price it's worth a stay.

This was our first stay at the Hotel Indigo. It was A++ from the beginning to the end. The staff at the front desk was wonderful and helped us get a roll-away bed for an unexpected guest. The roll-away was a very heavy-duty and comfortable bed, not the usual springy, uncomfortable type. Pets are allowed, which is why we initially chose this location. It was perfect as we were between the airport and Chapel Hill for UNC Graduation. Our only complaint was very low water pressure in the shower. However...it's billed as a "Green" hotel, so I can forgive that! :)

Hotel strengths = location and room comfort. The rooms are spacious and well laid out. Downsides: room A/C is noisy (there is no fan control), water pressure is low, and "hot water" is not so hot. The cafe staff was incredibly inefficient. For example, if you order eggs over easy and toast, you shouldn't have to ask separately for salt and pepper and then again for butter, and have each of these requests fulfilled only in minutes, rather than seconds.

I am a budget traveler with high-end needs: cleanliness, comfort, a great bathroom, a good tv and a nice pool complex. And the Indigo delivered. The rooms are modern, beautiful and clean, laid out in a way that feels like a suite even if simply a King bed room. The tv is huge and the bathroom is phenomenal with quality products and the most amazing shower I have ever experienced in a hotel. The bed is incredibly comfortable but I do dock points for the little pillows: cute idea and nice for lounging but just too difficult to deal with for sleep. The gym was bright, clean and very modern and the pool, although petite, had a great jacuzzi. Overall, I loved this hotel and will look at Indigo Hotels for future travels.

I booked this hotel due to having to catch an early flight at RDU the next morning and I live over an hour away from RDU. The decor is very nice and modern. The room was very comfortable and I loved the colors. The decor in the room is modern as well. I ordered room service, the wings were burnt and the chicken salad was ok. There was a pretty good selection of items on the room service menu. It took less than 10 min for me to drive to the airport. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

This hotel was a pleasure to stay at. The King room we had was beautifully decorated, bright, clean, comfortable and spacious. The shower is a unique and very large walk-in with a provided stool and rain style showerhead which was awesome. The bed was large and plush and the television the biggest I have ever seen in a hotel. It felt more like an apartment than a hotel room. The pool is a little small and the food area downstairs a little convenience store-like but overall I loved this hotel and will definitely stay here and at other Indigo's again.

The rooms are updated and nice size, very clean. The location was convenient. The pool was not operational which was a downer. I have a six year old and the pool is one of the reasons I picked the hotel.

Other than the GM and the morning kitchen staff; overall it was a good experience.

The Indigo has a clean, crisp look to it. The room was a basic room, but didn't appear like a typical hotel room. It was cheerful, clean and modern. The color scheme and all of the imagery, from the wallpaper in the hall of enlarged blades of grass with a bright blue background, to the enlarged purple flower over the commode, all set the stage for a green, modern hotel. My only complaint is that the air conditioning unit was a little loud, don't know if it was just in our room or that's how they all are. Also, we couldn't adjust the flow of air and it was directed right onto the bed.

We stayed here for one night before flying out of RDU. We had originally visited Durham to go apartment hunting and then took a mini trip to Washington dc. Our flight was early the following morning so we wanted to stay closer to the airport and chose Hotel Indigo based on the reviews and proximity to the airport. It was a great choice! We arrived late in the evening and were checked in easily. We were given the handicap room (it was the one orbits had given us, it was not required for our party). I'm not sure if it was because it was the handicap room or if all their rooms are similar in size, but ours was enormous! There is a large entry way, two queen beds that were nicely decorated and full of pillows, and enough space for a full size family and then some, and a clean and large bathroom as well. I was so impressed with the size of the room! Not to mention the wood laminate flooring really made the place seem like a small apartment... Home away from home? There was a cute lady bug mural on the wall and even a small couch set in the corner. I enjoyed the complimentary wifi. It was very fast for a shared network and easy to log in. I was a bit bummed that we couldn't stay longer to enjoy the facilities, which they said the gym and pool were open 24 hrs. I didn't get to try the restaurant, but staying in that area, it looked like you would have to. There isn't much nearby accept some sad looking restaurants half a mile away. I can see how this place appeals to business travelers. If it was located closer to Durham's city center, I would have definitely booked this hotel earlier in my stay. Just expect to drive a it to go to raleigh or Durham for some city center restaurants and fun. Otherwise, there isn't much else in the area accept for the airport, RTP industrial buildings, and a few small casual restaurants nearby.

I was there for business with 6 other people. We had several rooms in our group. Each room was very spacious with modern decor. The colors in the hotel were serene (light blue and light green) with a lot of natural elements (white birch trees in the lobby, oversized blown-up colorful photos of wild flowers, one entire wall in my room covered in bright lime green mural with a ladybug----too cool to explain in writing). Very clean lines with the furniture and layout. Small, but nice pool, sauna and jacuzzi and meditation court. Only problem was we needed to eat at 2pm and their restaurant didn't open until 5, so we went to the very mediocre Italian place across the street (Rudiano's or something like that). But a great hotel! Very Zen Hotel. :)

Conveniently located close to RTP and I-40. A car is necessary in order to get around but the location is great.

Awesome. I will be using this hotel again in 3 weeks. Clean, clean, clean. I think I may have been the only person on my floor. Staff was great and even allowed my too shorten my stay w/o a cancelation fee and a full refund.

good overall but had noisy neighbor, they changed me to another room though.

I was in the RTP area to visit my family over the weekend and then had to be in the area for work on Monday. The Indigo hotel is very close to the airport and the Triangle business park. It's also right along I-40, so getting to Durham, Raleigh or other points of interest is very convenient. The hotel had very nice, modern, bright rooms. Everything was very clean, and the staff were all very friendly. I would definitely stay there again for work or pleasure.
