Water was turned off a couple of times. Cleaning was marginal at best. Front desk staff was great.

We needed a place to stay after our wedding night and this was the perfect cozy getaway.

This hotel is a great option for those visiting Raleigh with a pet. The staff was super friendly, our room was spacious and even had a small kitchenette.

Room and bathroom was bigger than expected. Would definitely stay again.

We just traveled to see our team play at NC State. This hotel was so convenient to the stadium, downtown, the farmers market, and everything else we wanted to see. It was off the main stretch so it was very quiet and felt very safe. I agree with the other reviews that it sneaks up on you the first few times. The room was very nice and clean. It seemed very well maintained and everything was new. Also the complimentary breakfast was great! We ate there both days and I couldn't find a single thing I didn't like. The staff was also extremely friendly. Even to us in opposing team colors! If we are in the area again this will definitely be my first choice!

I will definitely consider this hotel again if I need travel to Raleigh/ Cary again. Everything in this hotel looks new and clean. In the kitchen, they provide everything you may need. Jametta and all other staff are super friendly, nice and helpful! I love the room with nice wood floor, la-z-boy recliner, nice cabinet, mesh computer chair, plus breakfast and Wi-Fi, internet . It was a very comfortable stay.

After driving across country to relocate with pets in the car, we were exhausted and stressed. The staff was so welcoming, accommodating and breakfast (with an occasional dinner, we didn't make these though) - combined with clean, quiet and comfortable room with tons of amenities, made for a GREAT ending to our long journey.

This hotel's location is set back from the road amongst a quiet set of businesses. Not easy to find the first time, perhaps, but once you're there, its tucked-away spot means the quiet that makes for a good night's sleep. The breakfast was above average, the staff was super friendly and helpful, my room was spotless, and the kitchenware in the truly full-size kitchen was good quality and well-functioning.

Quiet and pleasant site, friendly and helpful staff. Well-stocked kitchenette with quality cookware and utensils. Tucked in a little commercial area off the road and hard to spot on my first drive past. The upside was that there was no road noise at the motel at all. A variety of dining options within moderate walking or short drive distance.

Room was very clean, orderly, and nicely decorated. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The room was average, the pillows were old and broken down and we did not have power for about 5 hours. We were running from Hurricane Irene and did not want to be in our house without power, therefore we paid for a room without power 2.5 hours away.

Not a bad place to stay, room was very quite, room was clean except for the funky smell it had, bed sleep good and was clean, bathroom was clean, towels etc clean also, [...]

Creepy people were hanging around all day. Several people just proped their doors open and commented on anybody that walked by.[...]There is a bullet proof glass between you and the clerk....I checked out and went somewhere else.[...]

My husband and I went for just one night and I always search the web for good prices. I feel I can put up with just about anything for one night. But when I read all that this places offered for the price, I had to try it. It is GREAT! Very quiet; they said they were full and even had some dogs staying and we didn't hear a thing. Full kitchen was great even though we weren't there long enough to use it. Even had cookware and utensils! Also had a VCR/DVD player and free usage of movies. Neatness thing was their cupboard. They didn't offer continental breakfast, but they had "store" with all types of food that you could buy, and it was on an honor system. What a concept in today's world! The only thing that I didn't like was the pillows; they were a little too soft and I forgot to bring my own from home like I usually do. I cannot say enough good things about this place. One more thing, slightly negative - there is not a sign telling you where to turn off of the main road. I had made reservations for a friend to stay the same place the night before and she told me where to turn. GPS probably would have taken me right to it if I had been paying close attention to it. It's down a hill among lots of trees. It's beautiful and the staff was were nice. We're going back to that area next month and will definitely stay there!

The stay was nice, but when we returned for the evening there was no vending machines or ice where you could use.

Excellent. I did not know anything about the hotel prior to my stay. It looked great on-line and the cost and location was excellent for the Head Start non-profit budget and the closeness to the Hope Community Church (where I had a business meeting)which was also located on Buck Jones Rd. Still amazed at the jewel the Candlewood Suites turned out to be-low cost, clean, friendly staff, cupboard great (I had forgotten to pack a toothbrush, tooth paste and deodorant-the well stocked cupboard was a lifesaver! It also provided me with a very quick, healthy, convenient breakfast. I did not utilize the pool, cannot comment on it.

Nice "tucked away" hotel, yet around so many attractions and shopping. Convenient to get to and from & overall a great little room to stay at!

We were very surprised at how clean the suite was and how well it was equipped. They certainly did think of everything that a visitor might need. There was even a self serve panty for many food items as well as travel necessities. Payment was on the honor system and all guests obviously were careful to pay for such a convenient service. The hotel was located in a lovely treed residential area which further increased its appeal. We heartily recommend it to any traveler to the Raleigh Durham airport area.
