First off , I was not expecting much, it’s a Days Inn and it was inexpensive. But I did expect my room to be clean. I always inspect the beds for bed bugs at any hotel I stay. Didn’t find any bugs but what I found was just as bad. The entire mattress cover was covered in what looked like pubic hairs, the bathroom looked like it was not cleaned. Dirt all over the floor, there was dust everywhere and hand prints all over the headboard. I had to go out and get disinfectant and wipe down the entire room and disinfect the beds and pillows. It was late so no housekeeping available to do anything. They did remove the mattress cover the next day.

When I arrived, I noticed the hotel was rundown both inside and out, but it was cheap, so I was fine with that. But I soon felt unsafe at night. Four things happened. (1) There were men hanging around the hotel parking lot and in the stairwells. (2) One night, at about 4am, someone knocked on my door. I looked out the window, and it was a large man. He seemed confused and agitated about why I wouldn't let him in. (3) The next day, I was walking from my car to my room, and a man sitting in the outside stairwell across from my room stared at me the whole way. When I left my room again, he watched me and gestured to me. I figured out he was gesturing a number--150. (4) When I returned to my room, after waiting for that guy to leave, I noticed messages on my room phone. Someone had left 19 messages over 24 hours. Some were hangups, but the others were a variation of: "I want to have sex with a white woman. This isn't about drugs. I'm in room 150. Call me or come over." I realized then that the man outside was the man who called me. He was right next to me. I packed as fast as I could and left. Rashida at the front desk was very understanding and friendly, but that is the ONLY positive thing I can say about this place.

Staff was very nice. Old hotel which is not evident in the pictures online. I would spend a few more dollars to stay in an updated or new hotel.

The accommodations at this Days Inn was satisfactory and very close to the hospital where I had out-patient surgery. The stay was quiet, and I felt safe being there. Would recommend if a short stay is needed.

The rooms are mediocre. Staff is awesome! Location is a bit difficult to get to.

It was a great stay. The breakfast was good. It was a great location for me.

We were in town for a downtown event - chose to be farther away to save $$, and generally were happy. The rooms had a refrigerator and microwave, which was a plus for us, TV, and had some nice restaurants nearby within walking distance. Breakfast was included - it was filling and had enough variety that no one would starve, but wasn't deluxe. Staff was friendly and helpful, but there were times at night that they were not available and you had to wait for them. Traffic was heavy in this area, but getting around wasn't difficult.

I have traveled to Raleigh for several years now for a DAVA Conference and have stayed at this hotel each time. The staff is always above reproach. I would like to mention that Michelle, Rasheta, Chip and Michelle are super representatives for you hotel. Your continental breakfast is wonderful. I was very comfortable at this hotel because I had to travel to this conference alone, my husband had to stay in Hubert and work the mullet festival in Swansboro and could not join me in Raleigh and I was very comfortable at your hotel. Sincerely, Linda Childers

I really enjoyed my stay at Days Inn ,Raleigh N.C. I was vacationing and attended a conference. The staff, greetings and breakfast . O the pool and sightseeing wow I had a great time .

I don't really have any complains it was good for the price just the continental breakfast wasn't really anything n my fridge didn't work well and my sick continued to clog but besides that everything was fine great location for travelers

Excellent staff. Amenities were excellent for the price. Would recommend.

Staff was pleasant upon check-in and very courteous. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Only one problem the room door had a gap at the bottom and it let the very cold air into the room. I had to put a towel at the door to keep the heat in the room

Hotel was good, only thing was the toilet ran all night.

Got stuck at airport overnight. Needed a cheap place to crash for the night. Hotel was perfect for my purpose. Good value.

Hotel internet was good, but rooms need to be updated , they have old carpet and paint

I needed a quick hotel on the cheap, and this one was much nicer than others I've stayed at in Raleigh. Going back next week.

Older hotel with minimum amenities, but very clean and friendly staff. Comfortable beds, basic room, HBO. Great value - cannot beat the price. Several restaurants within a couple miles. Denny's is next door. .

I was not pleased with this hotel at all there pictures are nothing like the rooms. I was very upset when we got there at how little the room was and how nasty it was. There was bugs all over the room and we got a roll away bed and it had black stuff all over the sheets. I would not recomend it to anyone!!

First, my first "non smoking" room smelled like smoke. Second, moved to a second room and the tub would not drain. Third, treadmill in "fitness room" was broken. Three strikes, I'm out of there.

Room was tidy but airconditioning unit leaked water from the outside into the inside of the carpet of the room. I noticed that the shower had been refinished there were runs and trash in the paint job and was not smooth...just saying. But everythings ok the staff is very accommodating and professional.
